Religious Manifesto

Now religion makes enemies of brothers

As faith devours the love for peace.

And devotion rips us one from the other

As devotion and difference cause riots in the streets.

Acceptance crashes gainst the walls of belief.

Noble heads are held high in righteous thought.

The truth of faith is a mother's great grief

And the perjury of heresy is now sought.

The bible, so they say, is God's master plan.

Love and harmony against prejudice do fight.

In the house of God dwell the sins of man.

In man's hands is the blood of Christ.

Nails are being hammered into the wood

And a proud man falls once where he stood.
