So, what is Ask Emma about exactly?

As you know, Emma Shannon has always been known for her great advice to the young men under her roof. She has often been best friend and mother not only to the Sweetwater Pony Express, but she’s helped so many other wonderful citizens of Sweetwater. It’s only natural that Emma is there to dispense the most logical and sensible advice to whoever may need it.

However, with a hectic schedule of tending to the various duties of keeping up with 6 growing riders, the hearty appetite of Mr. Spoon and keeping Sam Cain in line, Emma often has to put the advice giving to the side. Many of her friends and acquaintances find the need to fill in for her.

While visiting the Ask Emma board, there are just a few basic guidelines to keep in mind.

First of all, “Ask Emma” is a fictitious advice column. This is simply for fun.

Secondly, you must take a pseudonym or fictitious identity when you post a problem or give advice. We have a preference for historical or literary figures. It just takes a little bit of imagination.

I would like to stress again that “Ask Emma” is not a real advice column. If you are looking for advice on real problems for love, life, work and family, it’s possible you might be severely ridiculed by those of us who have a jolly good sense of humor (and twisted sense of humor, as the case is from time to time).
