Mark woke up with Elizabeth in his arms again. He loved to wake up like that. He looked over at her sleeping, she looked so peaceful as she lay there. He felt her twitch as he gently pushed a red curl away from her face. He glanced at the clock, it was 6:23. When he turned back around, Elizabeth was staring him straight in the eye.

“Good morning,” she said with a giant smile on her face.

“Hey your up, how did you sleep?” he said as he kissed her forehead.

“Good, actually. That trauma last night wore me out.” There was a moment of silence, “What time do you go in?”

“Lets not talk about that right now, I just want to lay here with you as long as I can, without having to worry about work.”

It was about 9:00 when Mark and Elizabeth walked into to the ER. They went into the lounge, where they ran into Kerry. She was reviewing some charts when they walked in.

“Good morning guys, glad to see you’re here.”

“Why do you say that?,” Elizabeth said.

“Because now that means I can finally go home!”

Elizabeth went and gave Mark a kiss and said, “I’ll see you next trauma. If Romano knows I’m here and not upstairs yet, he’ll come hunt for me himself!”

A few hours later Elizabeth came downstairs to find Mark. She went to the front desk and no one was there. Then she went to the lounge and no one was there either. She started to look for him when she ran into Jerry.

“Jerry, have you seen Dr. Greene?”

“Umm...no, but there is a man in chairs looking for you. Says his name is Michael. He wouldn’t give me a last name, he said you’d know who I was talking about. Looks a little strange to me.”

“Michael?,” she questioned. “Thanks Jerry.”

As she walked down the hall to chairs she thought to herself. “It couldn’t possibly be the Michael I’m thinking of. He’s still back in England...isn’t he?”

As she came to where the man was sitting, her eyes widened and her heart jumped. There sitting in front of her was a dark haired, green eyed, very handsome man. As he stood up to greet her, she stepped back, forgetting how tall he was and a bit frightened.

“What are you doing here?,” she said in a concerned tone.

“Aren’t you happy to see me Bethy?”

“No!, I’m not happy to see you, and don’t call me Bethy, you know I hate that!”

“Why are you in such a bad mood? I came a long way from England to see you, I’m disappointed that you don’t want to see me, Bethy,” he said sarcastically.

“Bad mood??,” she said loudly. “I...,” she stopped, “...lets take this into the lounge where we’ll have some privacy.”

As they walked into the lounge, he started talking again. “Bethy, this place is quite a dump. You know when you left England I thought you were coming here to be better off and...”

“Let me tell you one thing about my life here, it’s wonderful, much better than when I was with you.  So what is it you want this time, Michael?  Do you want money, or did you just come 3,000 miles to harass me???”

“Why does it have to always be something with you, Bethy?,” there was silence. “...But since you brought it up, I’ve come for you. Come back to England with me. I know it didn’t  work out at first, but we can do it this time! I’ve been miserable without you Bethy.  Please come back to me.”

“What???,” she was completely astonished. “First of all, Don’t call me Bethy. What makes you think you can come here and ask me something like that? After everything you’ve put me through??? No! Absolutely not! Not again, not ever!”

Meanwhile, in the hallway, Jerry found Mark.

“Dr. Greene, Dr. Corday is looking for you.”

“Thanks Jerry.  Where is she?”

“She went into the lounge with some strange guy. He said his name was Michael.”

“Michael?” he questioned.

Mark walked down the hallway until he came to the lounge door and heard Elizabeth’s voice arguing at someone. Being a bit worried he rushed in.

“What’s going on in here??!! Who are you?”
