The Russell family is very simple. TC Russell hates Julian Crane with a passion, as does his wife Eve. Little does TC know that Eve has a sordid past with Julian, and if he ever found out, he would kill him. Whitney and Simone (daughters) also live in the household, but both the sisters are in love with the same man, Chad Harris. The problem is, he just might be their half-brother! Chad lives in a seperate area at the Russell residence. Chad has feelings for Kelly, which pains Whitney.

Julian Crane and his wife Rebecca Crane live alone on the Crane estate. Ivy Winthrop, his ex-wife still lives there and refuses to leave. Ivy knows about Julian's past with Eve. Rebecca's daugther Gwen is currently scheming to get Ethan Winthrop for herself, the man that Julian once belived was his son. Sheridan Crane is believed to be dead. However, she has amnesia and has taken up the name of 'Diana.'

The Lopez-Fitzgeralds are a family of love. Pilar, Martin, Antonio, Paloma, Luis, Theresa and Miguel all lived happily. But when Martin disappeared (believed to be caused by Julian), Antonio left town and Pilar had to send Paloma away to live with Tia Maria. Luis hates the Cranes for what they have 'done.' Theresa is madly in love with Ethan, although she is pregnant with Julian's baby after a mistake wedding. Miguel is in love with Charity. Antonio has returned to Harmony, but nobody knows it is him. Under the name 'Brian O'Leary,' he cruises around town with Sheridan (aka Diana).
