As Molly Hudson
Los Angeles native Lesley Boone grew up performing in junior high and high school theater productions. While a theater major at California State University/Northridge, she accepted a dare from friends and sent out pictures and resumes, hoping to launch an acting career.
She soon hired an agent and earned her Screen Actors Guild card by guest-starring in the Steven Bochco series "Hooperman." Shortly after, Boone was offered a starring role as the youngest of three sisters on the sitcom "Babes." She has been working steadily ever since, now adding the role of Molly, whom Boone describes as "everybody's best friend" on "Ed."
Boone guest-starred on "L.A. Law," "Doogie Howser, M.D.," "Parker Lewis Can't Lose" and "The Mommies," and played Crystal Bernard's high school nemesis on "Wings." She also had recurring roles as a police officer's wife on the crime drama "High Incident," and as Tracey Gold's secretary in the sitcom "Growing Pains."
On the big screen, Boone played a high-strung waitress opposite Jonathan Taylor Thomas in "I'll Be Home for Christmas," and starred as the dysfunctional sister of Stuart (Al Franken) in the Harold Ramis comedy "Stuart Saves His Family." She was featured as Billy Crystal's secretary in "City Slickers II," and also starred in the independent comedy "Pride and Peril."
Her theater credits include Los Angeles productions of "Oliver Twisted," "Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," "Hello, Dolly" and "Pizza Man."
Additionally, Boone is passionate about her other career as a voice-over actor. Having completed hundreds of commercials and animation projects, Boone's favorite voice-over character to date is Cathy, from writer Cathy Guisewite's popular comic strip.
A self-described "sports fanatic," Boone enjoys watching and playing all sports, cooking, singing and spending time with her family and friends. The actress resides in Los Angeles, and her birthday is February 25. Lesley Boone
