Title: Destiny Stones II Category: Romance/Drama/Action Author: Davis02 Prequel: Destiny Stones Sequel: Secret Of Mana I give this fic a 9 out of 10. NOTE: This story is from T.K.'s point of view. I saw it happen. No one else saw me, but I walked right in between that Terra Destroyer and Davis. Not long ago I had killed him, and here I was, dead, trying to save him. This was an odd twist of fate. It went right through me, just as Kari had done many times. I couldn't even get hurt by the attacks of the real world, even to protect some one. It was nerve racking. The battle raged as BLACKWARGREYMON came up against IMPERAILDRAMON and WARGREYMON. I thought for sure he was finished, but no such luck for us. A black orb came from the sky and hit BLACKWARGREYMON in the back. Everyone stopped, because he was screaming in agony. But we soon regretted it as we heard the familiar high pitched screeching sound of someone digivolving. That someone was odvious to everybody. "BLACKWARGREYMON Mode Change to...........Destroyer Mode!" "AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" I heard Davis yell. "He digivolved without a digivice!" "I have had enough of this playing around," BLAKCWARGREYMON said. "Hand Of Fatality!" I would have laughed at it's resemblence to ANGEMONs Hand Of Fate, but the circumstances didn't allow for it. The attack headed strait for the two digimon, and when it hit, there was a blinding flash of darkness (I know it sounds wierd, but there is no other way to describe it). When I looked again, I saw only WORMMON, AUGUMON, and VEEMON. This was what we were all expecting, but it was still shocking. The others didn't even try to digivolve, cause they knew it would do no good. BLACKWARGREYMON advanced on the Destiny Stone. I ran in front of it. I knew it would do no good, for I was only a spirit. But it didn't matter, I was gonna do everything I could. "I'LL NEVER LET YOU DESTROY THE DIGITAL WORLD!" I yelled at him. It gave me quite a shock when everyone, including BLACKWARGREYMON, looked right at me. As if they had heard me. "What trickery is this?" said the powerful, dark digimon. "Is there someone else who wishes to challenge me?" "I ONLY CHALLENGE THE FORCES OF DARKNESS, WHETHER OR NOT THAT'S YOU, IS YOUR CHOICE!" My voice must have sounded extremely loud, because everyone was holding their ears. Then, I saw it hit Kari. "Th-that's T-T-T.K.! THAT VOICE IS T.K.!" She yelled. This took me by surprise. They had noticed my presence. "Show your self, or I will destroy the Destiny Stone," the befuddled digimon commanded. "I am right in front of you!" I yelled back. "As you wish. Dark Planet!" An attack that seemed even more powerful then the last one came towards me. I stood my ground and yelled up to him. "I WILL NOT LET YOU WIN!!" The attack was closing fast, and though I couldn't, well, die, it would go right through me and hit the Destiny Stone. I felt an eriee coldness as it drew closer. Then, as it touched the Destiny Stone, there was a blinding flash of white light (not the dark kind) and I was enveloped in it. I felt oddly warm and comfortable, like I didn't have a care in the world. I heard a scream as Kari yelled louder then I've ever heard her yell, "IT'S TAKERU!!!" I opened my eyes which had been closed when the attack hit. I looked at my hand, and nearly died (again) of shock. I couldn't see through my hand. I was solid, real and all those words that mean alive. I looked up at BLACKWARGREYMON who was wearing the most suprised look I had ever seen on a digimon. I felt a necklace form on my neck and somehow, I kew what it was. "I told you I would never let you desroy the digital world," I said to the digimon. "Now the Destiny Stone is forever out of your reach, because of your ignorance." He stumbled backwards. Then took off flying away. Everyone watched him leave, then looked over at me. "Is he real?" Tai asked. "No clue," said Izzy. "Where did the Destiny Stone go?" asked Davis. That's when I snapped out of it. "It's right here," I told him. "How did you, uhhh, I mean." They all couldn't find the words. "I'll explain later. Right now I want some food. Haven't eaten since I died." Kari began to run towards me, tears streaking down her cheeks. It didn't take her long to reach me, but when she did, I knew that I really was alive. This was no dream. She held me tightly and kissed me on the cheek. "I thought you were gone forever," she whispered. I wrapped my arms around her and looked up at the group. I expected Davis to be looking daggers, but I guess dieing made him mature just a bit. He was smiling. He looked genuinely happy to see me. I remembered what he had told Kari in the desert about making me jealous, and how he thought it was his fault. I tried to stop thinking, because I could only think of bad memories at the time, but when Matt spoke up, I was relieved to hear him. "I thought I had lost another family member," he said to me. I let go of Kari and we both headed over to the group. "So," said Davis, "you said you wanted food?"
