Marlena
and John upset Kristen in some way and she thought she would make their lives
miserable by sending Roman to find Marlena and once he found her in John's arms
he would have a relapse and die. With Marlena so distraught over Roman's
death Kristen would be able to go after John.
Roman
did see that they were "together" and collapsed at the New Year's
Party and the Penthouse Grill but unfortunately for Kristen he didn't die.
Eventually
Roman arranged to have a 'private' dinner with "DOC" and was going to
tell her he knew everything.
At the
same time John overheard Kristen talking and realised that Roman knew the truth
about himself and Marlena. Afraid that she was in danger John had to find
Marlena and fast but Eric, who knew where they were, was loathe to give out that
information. He wanted his parents back together again. They had a
knock down drag out fight.
