Yes, although I don't usually. I was at my flat in Bristol, where Casualty is filmed. 
We are working on a lot of night shoots and its often hard to switch off when you 
get to bed.

By myself with a Wilkie Collins novel. I'm usually in bed by then.

My partner, Simon, in London. He's riot an actor, so it's nice to lead a normal 
life with him.

Healthy chicken fillets with veg.

I paid my mobile phone bill for the month, which set me back £250.

How much money have you spent in the last 24 hours?

A few quid on some gnocchi and dolce latte, and £20 on a baking dish. Cooking is 
my new hobby.

I was trying to get served in a restaurant and the waiter just looked right through me.

Adjoa Andoh, who plays Colette, pulling faces on set.

Not seeing much daylight because I've been indoors all day - and the size of my phone 
bill, thanks to all the calls to my mum and dad in Australia.

The professionalism and endless energy of the cast and crew -sounds gushing, but it's true.

I booked my VW Golf in for a much-needed service.

I showered, blow-dried my hair and left - half an hour tops.

Good, thanks to our make-up artist, Madeleine. Lara, who I play, is very much a reluctant
