Site Updates/Info
*NEW NEW UPDATE* 8/26/10: Apparently, after some domain-name gerrymandering, AlexzJohnson.com is back to being Alexz's new, old official site, and Alexz-Johnson.net is back to being just a fansite, again. D'oh. I haven't really followed the career or life of Alexz in these ensuing ten years. My 'obsession' with her wasn't really an obsession and only lasted about a year, but still this site remains, as some kind of odd testament. Most of the stuff is archaic or irrelevant, but don't expect me to correct or change any of it. Even if I had the time (which I sort of do, since I don't sleep), I don't have the will or the desire. I even offered to give control of this site to somebody who's still a heavy fan of Ms. Johnson, but they declined. I then put it up for semi-public claim, offering it to anybody who wanted to take it, and got nothing. Not that I'm dying to get rid of this, but I know that some 'webrings' still list this site, and people still visit it, so it's a decent foot in the door. Also, I don't think any of the e-mail addresses on this site actually go to any e-mail accounts I actually have anymore, so I guess if somebody were interested, and came to this site to tell me so, they'd have no way of contacting me. Oops.
*NEW UPDATE* 7/13/08: So, this site is over eight years old at this point in time. In some form of odd news-ish material, Alexz got another new official site in 2005. Clearly I haven't updated, or even visited this, my very first website, in about five years. It's odd to me that at one point this site was getting upwards of 20,000 hits a day. May not seem like much, but it blew me away at the time. I'm not sure why I'm updating with this random musing, but recently I began reminiscing about this site, and about my general use of the internet at the time; I was something of a minor web-celeb for a brief period in time. It even helped me get a few bands off the ground (although they've all returned to the dust from whence they came). I even got a trip to Canada, a couple of stage shows, and am still hacking out a series of screenplay deals due to all of this non-fame. My current band is even doing fairly well, although they're not aware of my faux-celebrity status (and I bet very few people are). If I ever do anything with my life, I can say that starting this website was definitely a positive step in the direction I was trying to take my life, and so far it's been hard work, but it's starting to amount to something...
3/21/03: Yes, it's true, Alexz has a new official site. I've known about this for a bit now, but haven't had the time to update the site to inform all those that didn't. Thanks to everybody who e-mailed me, I appreciate the thought. For now, we play the waiting game. Aw, the waiting game sucks, let's play Hungry Hungry Hippos...
3/3/03: Updating this to let you all know that today is this site's birthday! Can you believe this site is now three years old! That's right, the page you are viewing is probably one of the longer running Alexz Johnson sites still around (although I admit updates have been scarce as of late), and I don't intend on shutting it down anytime soon. I wish I had a new layout or something to throw your way, but the whole thing kind of crept up on me. Still nothing new with Alexz, but patience is a virtue (Now if only laziness was, too)...
12/12/02: Well, the site has basically been put on the back burner as of late, seeing as it has become increasingly hard to find information about Alexz's current whereabouts. Hopefully something will come up soon...
