Part II Nightmares By Jenn {Raven} Raven couldn't hold still any longer she teleported to the moon surface in order to find the warrior girl and take her to safety. Raven tried to look past the slain bodies on the ground, their death stench filling the air. The moon was no longer a pure white orb, it was red, the color of blood. That's when she saw the four generals to Queen Beryl. Malachite was the one to see her coming through the smoke and flame. He ran to her and smiled, "It's been so long Raven, I didn't think you'd fight for Queen Beryl." "I'm not Malachite, Beryl is not my master, the Tricouncil is." Malachite's face grew stern, "I trained you to become the fifth general to Queen Beryl, look you still even wear the uniform I gave you. You disappointed all of us." He walked away and continued his killing spree. Raven pushed through the ruble thinking of how the Tricouncil had sent her to train with Malachite for a month. He became the father she never had and learned the ways of dark magic with him. Malachite had tried to convince her to leave the Tricouncil and become the fifth general to Queen Beryl but she couldn't be swayed. Her thoughts were interrupted when someone from behind grabbed her. Quickly she grabbed her sword and cut off the head of a foot soldier. His blood sprayed across her face. She watched his body twitch then become still. Raven needed to find Star. Kijiro cut down many of the soldiers from the Negaverse protecting Sailor Jupiter who had her hands full with another legion. It was impossible to keep this up for much longer. Both of them were aching from the battle and the Negaverse seemed to have a never-ending supply of energy. Kijiro watched as energy blasts flew over their heads destroying the palace leveling them to dust. Raven saw Star lying on the ground in a small pool of blood. Raven ran over to her and held her in her arms, Star was wounded. Raven was filled with fear. She couldn't lose Star and would make sure of it. Quickly she teleported to her ship, once there she could treat her wounds. Raven walked over to Star now recuperating on her bed in a drug induced sleep. Star's wounds were not as severe as she thought them to be, just a couple nicks that might leave a scar. Raven couldn't get over Stars beauty. Star laid there, her hair and body washed of the dirt and blood of battle with clean bandages on her wounds. She saw Star shiver from the cold of the ship so Raven placed her cape on her to keep the chill away. Raven was inches from Stars face. The need to be with Star took control of her body. Raven tried so hard to reject it but there was something about Star that made her tingle. Perhaps it was the evil that attracted her or the light, Raven couldn't be sure. She pressed her lips once again on Stars and felt the electricity that flowed though it. Star made a small moaning noise that made Raven jump, she couldn't tell if Star wanted, or rejected her. The battle still raged over the surface. The sailor scouts tried to keep the evil at bay but it was becoming difficult. Darien fought off anything that threatened Princess Serena. That's when Queen Beryl appeared before them and asked Darien to join her. When he refused Beryl shot at the both of them, wounding Darien. Serena seeing her lover being taken away jumped into the air in order to retrieve him, but it was no use, she too was hurt and slowly being lifted off the moon to Queen Beryl's awaiting hands. Queen Serenity's screams were heard by all seeing her daughter being taken away from her. Star's eyes shot open. Something was wrong. Someone needed her help. That's when she saw Raven above her starring at her almost nude body. "The drugs will wear off, don't be afraid Star I won't…couldn't hurt you." Raven ran her fingers through Stars hair and across her face. "Did you dream about me?" Raven asked while outlining Star's lips with her finger. "I dreamt about you, does that scare you? A woman dreaming about another?" Raven lowered her face close to Star, then in her ear whispered, "It scared me." Ravens long black hair fell over Star like small snakes winding around its victim. "I want you, but not like this." Raven moved away from Star, she wanted her to be free of the drug and give herself freely to her. "Say you'll stay here with me, you won't have to hurt any longer. I'd keep you away from those who hurt you." Stars face turned away from Raven's she needed to go back to the moon. With all the strength she had she sat up in the bed. "I can't." Star said looking back at Raven. Raven's heart stopped and she knelt before Star and placed Stars hands in her own. "My offer will always be open to you. Take this, it will help you do what you must." From Ravens heart she extracted a three pronged white stone. She broke the tip off of one and pushed it into slowly into Stars body, it melded willingly and took care of the drugs that coursed her veins. Her armor appeared on her along with her sword. Raven stopped her from speaking by placing a hand on her lips. "Hush, it's time to go." Raven kissed Star on the forehead and a small tear fall down her cheek. A light surrounded them and they both reappeared on the moon. Raven looked around the burnt bodies and leveled buildings. That's when she noticed that Princess Serena and Prince Darien were being taken by Queen Beryl. "I have to stop that snake." Star ran to where Beryl was sword brandished but was knocked down by the force field that surrounded her. "Annoying fly!" Queen Beryl hissed as she sent a ball of flame towards Star, "I will destroy you now before you reach your destiny!" The huge inferno came tumbling towards Star larger than the Shadow demon that stood above the city. Star braced herself there wasn't enough time to run. Star could already feel the heat she closed her eyes preparing for the deathly blow. Star felt someone's hands round her waist, she thought it was the Angel of Death taking her to the spirit world. Star felt the heat rush past her finally she opened her eyes when all had become still. Star looked into Raven's eyes she could smell her flesh burning. Raven smiled at Star, then in a sickening thud fell to the ground. Star knelt by her side holding onto her hand. "Why did you…" That's when a light so pure and white filled the moon. It was the power of the Silver Imperial Crystal. Queen Serenity was going to send everyone to be reborn on Earth. Raven watched in horror as Star was trapped in an orb and being taken away from her. With all her strength she lifted her hand to the orb praying Star would come back to her. They were being separated for all eternity. Star's memories of her would be washed away. Only the small section of her heart stone would remain with Star, unnoticed. Tears fell down her cheeks she closed her eyes and whispered into the black star-studded sky. "Star…I love you." Raven woke in a bed with Kyalen by her side. He was stitching her wounds and cleaning them so infection wouldn't spread. "We found you before you were taken from us. We've decided to sleep one thousand years till the powers of good are awakened." Raven barely listened she drifted into a sleep dreaming of Star and the world they could've had if she had only stayed. Star was dead to her. Taken away by the evil Queen Serenity. She swore she would return to Earth and destroy all the Queen Serenity had hoped and died for.
