Alan "The Brain" Powers
Brain is very smart. His real name is Alan, even though Arthur forgets that. He loves science and reads complex science books, but that doesn't mean he can't do regular kid stuff. He hangs out at The Sugar Bowl and enjoys the same activities as the rest of the gang. Sometimes they have a hard time understanding him because he speaks with big words. Brain works at his mother's ice cream shop behind the counter, dipping out cones and such.
Astronomy is one of his hobbies, and he likes skipping rocks. He has the ability to whip up an complicated invention in no time flat. He admires Einstein. In addition to being smart, Brain also excells at sports, having athletic ability which rivals Francine's. He hikes on weekends and takes daily 4 kilometer jogs with his father. He is (sometimes) afraid of water.
Brain is a main staple in Arthur's gang. When Buster was gone, Brain filled his place as best friend, even taking over writing the story that Buster and Arthur were co-writing. He has a comic book collection. He may own an evil robot.
