in Montreal, Quebec, 18 year-old Lefebre won the role of Tanya without
auditioning, thanks to an old friendship with Doug Bush. When she found
out he was looking for somebody to play the role of Tanya, she said
that she was the one to do it. "I'm black," she explains, "Tanya is
black too. It's a match made in heaven." Lefevre is happy with Tanya's role on the show, citing how much she loves the evolution in the relationship of Doug and her character. "They're been through alot together, and will get deeper involved. Whether they end up together or not is anybody's guess." When she's not filming "The Rutlanders," Lefebre is busy with the many film roles she's been offered. Her latest is Spike Jonze's "Gilrz in the hood," which she describes as "Boyz In The Hood" crossed with "Sex In The City." |
