 "I had this idea for a show," explains
Bush. "About 6 people from very different backgrounds." What he's
refering to is ethnic background as this series is the most racially
diverse series on tv with white, black, latino and asian characters.
"It just seemed natural to me to have people from all over, so it
worked out." Those diverse background have helped to propel the series
to the nunber one spot amongst white, black, asian and latino viewers,
a feat never before accomplished.Bush, who stepped into the role of Doug at the end of the first season after Doug MacRae disintigrated on set, is currently single and 25 years old. He has a BA and an MA in Spanish, but what he really loves is writing. "If I couldn't act anymore tomorrow, that would be fine because writing is really my thing. Now if my fingers go chopped off, then we would have some problems." Doug Cooper has become a more focal point of the series this season after being more of a supporting character during the last few seasons. Bush says this season will be interesting to say the least, but gives up no more. |
