"No I am just going to read." She waited for the door to close before she set the book down. "God." Sarah leaned back in her chair wondering when her life had gone so far from what she wanted.
'She's just back to her old habits.'
And it was true. After everything that had happened in Pine Valley, her almost dying, coming out., nothing had changed, not really. Sure her mom had pretended. Sarah had actually thought they might be able to talk about things, but now she knew the truth. Her mom didn't accept her, just tolerated what she could ignore.
Sarah got up and searched for her picture of Bianca. She hated having to hide it. But she had learned the hard way what happens when you leave something "inappropriate" out. 'God I miss that picture.' She kissed the tips of her fingers, then gently pressed them to the lips of the girl in the picture. 'I miss you so much Bianca.' Sarah fell into a comforting sleep, clutching the picture of her love.

"Sarah? Sarah? Are you ready for dinner dear? " Mrs. Livingston walked into her daughter's room to find the young woman asleep. 'She knew I planned on going to dinner.' The older woman strode to the other side of the room, her eye pausing on the object clutched in her daughter's hands. 'Damnit I thought she was over that little manipulator!'
"Sarah wake up!"
"Wha?" The blonde looed up to find her mother standing over her. 'God can't I get any peace?'
"Put that away." Sarah just blinked at her mom, half asleep.
"Now Sarah! I don't want to see that- that-"
"Bianca! Mom her name is Bianca!"
"Don't you even-"
"What? Speak her name?!" Sarah stood, staring her mother down. "I can't belive you! Do you seriously think that taking me to Europe would cause me to forget about Bianca? What happened to you promising to work things out with me? Mom this isn't going to change. I love her, and nothing short of dying can keep me away from her!'
"It's talk like that Sarah, it proves to me that your just young and confused. And I will not let you ruin your life for that girl!"
"Mom. Listen to me, please!" Silence. Sarah walked towards her mom, reaching out and taking her hadn, covering it with her own. "I love her, and she loves me. Without her I wouldn't have made it out of rehab. And when coming back home was to much, she was there for me. If she hadn't of made me go to the doctor I would have died then. Mom I trust her. She has been my support for so long. She's my soul. I lo-"
"Stop this!" Mrs. Livingston pulled her hand form Sarah's. "It's wrong and I won't have it!"
"You can't stop us! Not this time! I let you control me once, and it almost killed me!" SLAP! Sarah stumbled backwards. The slap hadn't really hurt, it was just a shock.
"I'm sorry. I didn't.. I-" Sarah reached for her bag, grabbing her picture off the bed. 'She just smacked me. My mom just smacked me.' Sarah walked towards the door, but was stopped by a hand.
"You know I didn't mean it honey. It's just when you talk about that-"
"Don't you dare! Don't you dare blame this on her! This is your fault!" Sarah twisted away. Slamming the door. Not looking back. Looking forward to a certain place where she could be loved .
