Submissions Guidlines

Welcome!

This is the Submission Guidlines Page (in case you didn't notice the header *G*). Read below to get information about what the guidlines are. They're not unreasonable (I don't think so anyway), just your standard guidlines. There aren't that many of them actually. Cool, huh.

In the Story

• The story must revolve around, or the lead is, women.
  
• Beta reading is strongly recommended
  
• I will not edit stories, I hardly have time to finish my own (right now I have several people ready to tar and feather me) but if I do see an error I will e-mail you about it. If I don't get a response I leave the error in
  
• I will accept unfinished stories, however there must be at least two to three chapters done. If the story is only one chapter or so wait a bit before submitting it BUT you can send me the chapter you have and I'll get it ready to put up when you send me more of the story.
  
• It would be nice to include Bianca. It doesn't have to be romanticaly. For example, a story can be told about Erica and Brook (come one, try and tell me you haven't thought about it) but Bianca may have a cameo.
  
• There has to be some sort of relationship. Translation: no characters suddenly boffing and then nothing said about it, there has to be emotion (the pesky things)
  
• I would put believable relationships, but we're taking about a soap opera here. They thrive on making the unblievable believable

Things NOT Accepted

• Hard Core Pornography. An overabundance of four letter words and emotionless sex
  
• Male/Male fics. Sorry but this is for the women in Pine Valley, I'm sure there is some web site out there for that
  
• Stories where all the females in the story walk on then imediatly off with no metion. But you can have a story where, let's say, is about Ryan getting back his internet company but Bianca and her gf are the people helping him
  
• PWP's (Plot, What Plot?)eh...kinda. It's negotiable.
  
• Where the characters are out of character. For example, Bianca suddenly becomes exactly like Greenlee (I love the girl but still) with no explination, like someone really betrayed her (ex. kills her cat, stomps on her flowers, and runs off with another girl or her girlfriend). Even then you're going to have to be creative

Technical Junk

Before you send your story to me please make sure it has the following:

• Title
  
• Author
  
• E-mail address
  
• Rating
  
• Pairing
  
• One to two sentence summary (a hint or teaser)
  
• Disclamer
  
• Warnings (if there are any, like abuse or bad language)
  
• Category (like Crossover, Hurt/Comfort, things like that)
  
• Any Notes from the Author to the reader

• Insert some kind of break indicator between scenes. The default on this site is six stars with a space between each. * * * * * *
  
• If you have an extremely long story, please break it into the logical parts that you would want your audience to receive it in. Try to keep file length under 100k.
  
• Make sure to include the name you wish on the story and an email address in the file, so I know how to contact you, if your mail is lost or destroyed.
