Patty Halliwell was the sisters' mother; Finola Hughes plays her character. She also lived in the Manor and was also a witch. She died when the sisters were young. We found out she was killed by a water demon and was in love with her whitelighter, Sam. She worked in a café called Buddy's as a waitress. Phoebe has very few memories of their mother. Prue had a fear of water because her mother was drowned. She was sent down for Piper and Leo’s wedding.
