<---Back to DarkTrunks's page What's a saiyan? Saiyans are a race of elite fighters and come from a planet named Vegeta. On Vegeta there was two species. The civilized Truffles, and the savage saiyans. They hated each other, and they saiyans just hated them due to the fact that they are born with the longing to fight. It was a long battle, wepaons and technology, vs pure strength. Then something happened. A full moon arose. this only happened every 8 years, and it caused all the saiyans to transfrom into Oozaroo. (giant ape like creatures)They dominated the truffles. Only now thier thirst for blood went unquenced, for there was no one left to fight. Space creatures landed and hired the saiyans to pirate planets for them. Now the aliens could have planets, and they gave the saiyans ships, which enabled them to travel around and fight. A powerful alien named Frieza saw them as a threat and destroyed their planet. 5 of them were away at the time and were the only survivors. They were: The saiyan prince Vegeta, the General of the Saiyan Army Nappa, Broli, Kakarott (Gokou), and his brother Raditz.
Saiyans are born with a tail which enable them to transform into Oozaroo at a full moon. An Oozaroo is a giant ape with enourmos power. it can cruch anyone by squeezing them or stepping on them. They also shoot out powerful beams through their mouths. An Oozaroo can become normal again if it's tail is cut off. If the saiyan is a weak one, the tail can be a weak spot. They are born as supreme fighters. Saiyans become more powerful after every battle and even more powerful when they recover from a defeat. Whn a saiyan becomes powerfl enough they turn into a Super Saiyan. At SS level 1 their power increases drastically and they get green eyes with yellow flowing hair. At level 2 they become stronger and get gold hair with green eyes. At level 3 they become extremely strong, grow long yellow hair, and sparks flow aroound them. At level 4, they grow a tail (if they got it cut off) get red fur, red eyes and black hair. Their power increases enormously. They can also become Oozaroo while in a ss stage. They are the same big monkey, but gold instead of black or brown. They can also become Ultra saiyan which makes their strength AMAZING but they are very slow.
Saiyans wear armour. It is a long underwear (with matching shirt) covered by a chest protector with shoulder flaps. There is different kinds of armour. Some are different colours, some have shroter underwear. Some have leg flaps. Some don't even have flaps at all. This armour is durable and can strech to almost any size. Saiyans have a sense of pride, and tracel in one man ships called saiyan space pods.
