<Black Eagle> Welcome everyone.  I'm Black Eagle joining you on the shore of Plun-Darr's moat.  With me today is supposed to be RD Rivero, but...well...I haven't seen him.  So I guess I'll be doing this alone.

<RD Rivero> Nope.  Got here just in time.  So what's happened so far?

<Eagle> Aren't you being hunted?

<RD> No, the elephant is being hunted.  I jumped off.  So how far have you gotten?

<Eagle> I was just about to explain the event.

<RD> Ah.  Great.  Okay, keep going.

<Eagle> Um, whatever.  Anyway, the six different teams have each entered three competitors.  The task is to row these little boats around the moat.  First one across the finish line wins.  Pretty straight forward.

<RD> Alright, time for the teams.  Monkian, Jackalman, and Rataro are in one boat.  Don't ask me what those three are supposed to accomplish, but they're there.  Lion-O, Cheetara, and Tygra are also entered.  They should be good medal contenders if the Code of Thundera doesn't pop into existence.

<Eagle> Yeah, you gotta watch out for that Code.  It'll get you when you least expect it.

<RD> I tell you, that thing's dangerous.  It's not safe to have around.

<Eagle> Get to the rest of the teams.

<RD> Oh, right.  Captain Bragg, Safari Joe, and Captain Shiner are crowding into another boat.  Not much there.  And then there's a really interesting team.  The Ancient Spirits of Evil, Grune, and the Driller.  Two of the team members are dead, and the other one is a bunch of drill bits stuck in a wooden boat.  Then there's Alluro, RedEye, and TugMug from the Lunatacs.  And for the Third Earthers, Kudi and the two Berbils.  Do Berbils rust?

<Eagle> Hmm...interesting question.  Maybe we'll get lucky and one will fall overboard.

<RD> Luck?  We don't need luck.  All we need is--

<Eagle> And they're lining up.  I think the Driller has alreayd put a hole in their boat.  It's looking low in the water.

<RD> Hey, keep an eye out for Thundera Tiger, would you?  The Berbils are supposed to get her, but just in case she eludes them...

<Eagle> Sure, no problem.  And there's the signal!  They're off.  Wow.  Lots of different ways to row a boat.

<RD> The mutants have Jackalman out kicking.  The Thundercats are actually rowing.  The Lunatacs are aruging about who's going to row.  Whoa, TugMug was just shoved overboard.  Very nice.

<Eagle> Mumm-Ra's team continues to sink.  Poor Driller.  He doesn't look happy.  The humans are actually catching up with the Thundercats.  And so are the Berbils!

<RD> This race needs a little help.  Wait here, I'll be back in a minute.

<Eagle> Oh no you don't!  Not while I'm announcing.

<RD> But look at what's happening!  That's not right.

<Eagle> Let it happen!  What does it bother you anyway?  After all, this is just...what's that?

<RD> What?  That noise?

<Eagle> Yeah.  Sounds like...

<RD> It's that stupid elephant again!  RUN!

<Thundera Tiger> Mwahahahaha!  Oh, this is great fun!

<Thundercub> I knew there was a reason I stuck around!  Take this, RD!  Come on, you big pachyderm!  Flee before us!

<Eagle> Hey, I'm innocent!  What are you doing?

<RD> Look out!  Boat race!

<Tiger> Whoops...

<Eagle> Well, from high above the disaster, I guess it's up to me to report it.  The elephant just plowed into the moat in an effort to get away from Thundera Tiger and Thundercub.  Don't know where RD is.  Last I saw, he was in the moat, too.  Um, the elephant just demolished the humans' boat.  The Berbils and Kudi are no more.  The waves are actually carrying the wreckage of Mumm-Ra's boat forward.  They're...yes, they're passing the Thundercats!  The Thundercats are being dashed against Castle Plun-Darr.  That boat won't last much longer.  And there go the Lunatacs!  The mutants have...where have the mutants gone?  Oh, they've washed up on the shore.  And there's the finish line.  Mumm-Ra's team is actually going to win!  Thundercats come in second and the Lunatacs wash into third.  And the Thundercat's boat just sank.  Lion-O's got Tygra and they're making a swim for it.

<Thundercub> Hey, do I get to do my interview now?

<Eagle> Sure.  Does it involve an elephant?

<Thundercub> No, that was just to create a little havoc.  Hey Tiger?  You want to peel RD off the elephant's foot?

<Eagle> So that's where RD went.

<Thundercub> Yup.  Anyway, I've got Wiley Kat here with a message for everyone doing something nasty to the Thunderkittens.

<Wiley Kat> That's right.  Anybody who tries any more moves against us is going to be sorry!

<Tiger> Wow.  That was almost...was that supposed to be a threat?

<Wiley Kat> That includes you, Tiger!

<Thundercub> Well spoken, Wiley Kat.  Back to you, Black Eagle.

<Eagle> Ah, thank you, Thundercub.  And thanks to Thundera Tiger, RD is back with us.  You're looking a little flat.  Feel okay?

<RD> Very funny.  That tiger is going to pay for it now.  What are you eating?

<Eagle> A gerbil.  I found it running around on the castle side of the moat.  It's quite tasty.  Want some?

<RD> No thanks, I'll take your word for it.  So to wrap it up, we've got Mumm-Ra's team with first, the Thundercats with second, and the Lunatacs in third.

<Eagle> Mmm.  This really is tasty. Kind of metallic, but good.

<RD> You're hopeless.  Let's send you inside to the dungeon.
