Chapter 1: From Mummy to Monster

 
Introducing Mumm-Ra.  This is Mumm-Ra in his mummy form.
He still has some magical powers like this, but they're nothing compared to what he has when he transforms into the Ever-Living.
This is also how he sleeps.  So if you catch him in his sarcophagus, this is how you'll find him.
Not that we've ever done that before but--

Kittens, let's keep things like that out of this and let's also have a talk later.

 
When Mumm-Ra feels like picking on someone or something, he changes to Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living.
The words to invoke this change sequence are "Ancient Spirits of Evil, transform this decayed form to Mumm-Ra, the Ever-Living."
Snarf once used that to transform to Snarf-Ra the Ever-Living.
That was scary.

 
There's a lot of lightning involved with Mumm-Ra's transformation.  Four statues who represent the Ancient Spirits of Evil release energy that Mumm-Ra uses to become Ever-Living.
As a general rule, though, Mumm-Ra always seems to be surrounded by lightning.

 
Aww, nuts.  Mumm-Ra got his thumb in this picture.  Anyway, this is about halfway through the sequence and the mummy is growing.  His muscles are almost as big as mine.

Looks like Ma-Mutt got into the toilet paper again.
Mumm-Ra's usually not too keen on that.

Sorry.  Ma-Mutt didn't get into the toilet paper.  Those are just Mumm-Ra's wrappings that go flying in all directions.
Looks like toilet paper to me...
