Goku
This is the main character of the show, Goku is a Saiyan and he is very strong. He is the first to become a Super Saiyan and kills lots of bad people. Goku has a wife named Chi-Chi and two sons named Gohan and Goten. Goku goes through many battles and gets stronger each time. Him and his friends have defeated Buu, Brolly and Cell to save planet Earth. Goku even killed himself to save the planet.
Gohan
This is Goku's son, Gohan. He is half saiyan and half human. He is strong but young. He helps fight many battles. When he grows up he becomes the great Saiyaman and marries a lady named Videl. They then have a daughter named Pan who helps Chibi Goku find the Black Star Dragonballs. Gohan helps a lot fighting Cell too.
Krillin
Krillin is Goku's best friend and a good attacker. Krillin has good offense but not so good defense. He and Goku were friends for years. Even though Krillin is small he still is strong. He was almost killed by Frieza when fighting him. Then Dende healed him and he was back to himself shoting Destructo discs at Frieza. Krillin is almost always one of the Z fighters and he marries Android 17 and they have a daughter named Marron.
Piccolo
Piccolo used to be Goku's enemy until they had to team up to destroy Raditz. Now Goku and Piccolo are almost friends and they are on the same team to destroy evil. Piccolo and Gohan are good friends too. Piccolo even trained Gohan. Piccolo is the evil half of Kami. They seperated a long time ago but they fuse to be Kamiccolo later on in the Android/ Cell Saga. He also fused with Nail to make himself even stronger.
Dende
Dende is a young Namek who was given the power to heal people. He was saved by Gohan and Krillin from Frieza and later, Frieza killed him. When Dende lives on Earth he becomes the guardian of Earth taking Kami's spot. He then creates the Black Star Dragonballs.
Vegeta
Vegeta is a Saiyan and is the Prince of the Planet Vegeta. Him and Nappa came to Earth for the Dragonballs to wish for immortality. He did not succeed though. He later went to Namek because the Dragonballs where there now. He was killed by Frieza though. That was when Vegeta was starting to be a good guy. Vegeta is an important person and he fuses with Goku to become Vegetto and Gogetta.
Frieza
Frieza is a changling that USED to be the strongest and evilest person in the universe who overruns planets and sells them for money. Too bad for Frieza but Goku beat him on Namek. After Frieza had his own Discs slice through him he was found by his father (King Cold) and built into a robot and went to Earth. He was then killed by Trunks (completely sliced in half!).
