At the tender age of five, Kirsten Storms already knew what she wanted to do with her life -she longed to perform in front of the camera. Kirsten would tag along with her father, Mike, to the CBS affiliate in Orlando where he was the sportscaster. She would saunter onto the news set, pretending to be the weathercaster. The station recorded her forecasts so the rising star could critique her "work." She was hooked! Kirsten has decided to put her weather aspirations on hold, at least for now, because the young lady just landed the coveted role of precocious Belle Black on NBC's number-one daytime drama, "Days of our Lives".
Born in Orlando, Florida April 8th 1984, Kirsten lived the normal life of a child until she was five. While performing in a showcase at an area acting school for kids, Kirsten was discovered by a talent scout who convinced her parents to enroll their young daughter in an intensive children's acting program in the Catskills in New York. The opportunity was too good to pass up. However, Kirsten would need to make this trip on her own. "I was five years old, on a plane to New York, and for two weeks I couldn't have any contact with my family," recalls the young actress. "But I loved every minute of it." The sacrifice paid off when the training culminated in an Off-Broadway show where the five-year-old caught the eye of many agents and talent scouts.
Kirsten's first professional acting job was a commercial for Galoob Baby Doll, a gig she landed before she even returned to Florida. The rising star spent the next several years commuting back and forth between New York and Florida with her mother, Karen. Some of Kristen's commercial credits include four Tyco campaigns, a Sea World commercial, and Mattel's Talk With Me Barbie.
Kirsten's first television series was a recurring role in ABC's "Second Noah," portraying the best friend of Hannah Beckett. Shortly after the series ended its run, the Storms family decided to head west and give LA a try. Kirsten soon landed the role of Laura Cummings, Simon Camden's girlfriend, on the WB hit, "7th Heaven." Sadly, Laura broke Simon's heart when Kirsten was chosen to star as spicy, free-spirited Zenon, in the Disney Channel's original movie "Zenon, Girl of the 21st Century."

Originally, the residents of Salem believed that Belle was the daughter of Marlena and Roman. In truth, Belle was the product of a one-night-affair between Marlena and John Black. Belle's true parentage might never have been revealed if it weren't for her older sister Sami who discovered the truth and kept the secret for several months. She even went as far as to kidnap Belle and try to have her legally adopted! In the end, however, it was Stefano DiMera who revealed the truth after reading Sami's diary.
Currently, Belle is in her formidable teen years at Salem High School. She reluctantly began an ill-fated relationship with bad/rich boy, Philip Kiriakis but soon devoted all her attention to Shawn Brady. Recently, Belle has become close friends with the Chloe Wesley. All of her peers were shocked to see her spending time with Chloe, the resident "new girl outcast," but eventually everyone accepted their friendship.
