"It's Time For The Birds And The Bees On Once And Again"

From first kiss to marital Bliss, a gamut of sexual relationships is explored on the Nov 30 episode of O&A.

Virginal teen-ager Jessie takes her first tenative steps toward adulthood when she shares a kiss with high school hunk Tad, while at the other end of the spectrum, her divorced mom, Karen, looks to get back into the game by checking out a popular watering hole and considering a one-night stand.

There's a delightful moment when Judy spots Karen looking through a book in the erotica section of Judy's new bookstore. The two women share a smile that acknowledges their sexuality as part of their basic humanity. Not to be let out of the hunt, Judy & Sam decide to take another turn at the mating dance.

And, as if to demonstrate that nobody is perfect, Lily and Rick experience problems in the bedroom for the first time. Sela Ward & Billy Campbell (Lily & Rick) are not just incredibly good-looking people, they're talented actors, depicting all of their characters' faults, foibles and frailties int the most realistic- and sympathetic- manner. In a lovely scene that richly illustrates the importance of communication, Rick & Lily share some of their romantic and sexual fantasies. (We especially loved Rick's "naughty knight" scenario.)

We won't spoil the...er, climax, but we will say that pillow talk pays off for the newlyweds and we can promise the episode ends on a wonderfully, um *uplifting* note. __ Soap Opera Weekly (December 4, 2001)
