A Cabin in Woods
Parker turned in early. She couldn't stand listening to her brother say
another word.
She couldn't believe her father made her come to a family outing with
him. A freak of
nature. It's not like they had anything in common.
She settled down into the bed. Looking around the room one last time
before turning off the
light, she made sure she locked her bedroom door.
"I can't believe I had to give up my plans for this." She sighed before
closing her eyes.
She drifted off to sleep.....
"Quit moving." She told Jarod.
"I can't help it. You have the rope too tight. I can't move my hands."
"Good."
"Good?"
"Yeah."
"I can't believe I let you talk me into this. I think it's my turn to
tie you up."
"Quit your whining and kiss me." She moved her lips to his.
A knock on the window brought Miss Parker back to reality. A wicked
grin formed on her
lips as she remembered the last time she saw her lover.
[knock, knock]
The sound of knocking caught her attention again. She quickly went to
check out the noise.
She pulled back the curtains to see Jarod on the other side.
Raising the window, "What are
you doing here?" She let him in.
"I had to see you." He gave her a kiss.
"Are you nuts? My father and Lyle are here!" Her voice was raised and
stern.
He placed his hands over her mouth. "I can't help it. I couldn't stand
the thought of not seeing you tonight. *We* had plans."
"I know and I told you I couldn't get out of this. My father insist
that Lyle and I get to know each other better. I can't stand him." She walked over to
the bed and sat down.
Jarod sat down next to her. "Then let's forget about them." He reached
over and kissed her neck.
"Jarod." A smile danced across
her mouth as he pushed her down on the
bed.
"You know what will happen if we get caught." She whispered into his
ear.
"I don't care." His lips moved down her neck to her chest. "Did you lock
the door?" He had to ask just in case they did get caught.
"Of course."
"Then, there's nothing to worry about." He let out a sigh of relief.

3:00 AM
When Jarod woke his arms were around her. He looked up at the clock and
bent down closer to her.
He gave her kiss.
"I better get going before they find us." He said softly into her hair.
"I wish you didn't have to go so early." She stared up into his eyes.
"I know but we will see each other very soon." He kissed her again.
"Be careful."
"Me? What about you? You are the one that is with a psycho." He left her
bed and got dressed.
She got up to walk him to the window. "I love you."
"I love you too."
Jarod went through the window when she grabbed him. "Call me when you
are in a safe place."
"Same here." Their lips meet for the last time that morning.
She watched him disappear into the woods. Then she climbed back into bed
and laid there awake
for a while before her eyes drifted off to sleep again.
The morning light woke her. She could hear her father and Lyle talking
in the other room.
Then she smelled the coffee. She got dressed and decided to join them.
"Morning." She said as she walked into the kitchen.
"Guess who decided to join us." Lyle smirked.
"I'm not in the mood for you, Lyle."
"That's enough!" Mr. Parker stood between them. He turned back toward
his daughter. "Angel,
did you sleep well?"
"Like a baby." She smiled.
"We were beginning to wonder. There sure was some strange noises coming
from your room last
night." Lyle refilled his coffee cup and walked off.
Miss Parker just stood there with a grin on her face. "Sweet dreams."
"Uh?" Mr. Parker asked.
"Sweet dreams. I had sweet dreams." She grabbed a coffee cup and filled
with the black steaming
liquid.
"I told you that you would relax here." Mr. Parker took a deep breath.
"You can say that again." Parker took her cup of coffee and joined them
on the porch.
