Jarod stared intensely down at his thumb, intrigued by this new development.

It was now losing feeling.  Curious.

He wiggled his hand, yanked his arm and leaned back, but it was no use.He was stuck.

But that was okay, because he'd never been stuck before and he was lookingforward to finding out all about it.  He just wished it wasn't cuttingoff the blood supply.

Pondering the situation, Jarod wondered what the hell he was going todo.  It had been fairly easy to jam his thumb in the tap, why wasn'tit easy to get it out again?  It was a dumb thing to do in the firstplace, but... After seeing it on TV he had had to try it.

It had been hilarious at the time...just not now.  Now he just feltlike Lyle. He reached into the cupboard below the sink awkwardly, diggingaround until he found some baby oil.  Coating his hand and the skinaround his thumb with the slick liquid, he slowly worked his thumb loose.

 Feeling incredibly proud of himself, he washed off the oil andwandered back to the lounge to watch some TV.  Grabbing the remote,he flopped down on the couch and flipped through the channels, finallywatching the

Simpsons.  He couldn't help but laugh when Maggie hit Homer overthe head with a mallet.  He just *had* to try it...
