Big Brother Is Coming (Part 2)

Rating:

Summary: Continued from Big Brother Is Coming Part 1: Will returns later that night and finds the apartment still a mess and Grace in her robe. She lies and says she fell asleep. Will suspects that she had a sex dream, since her face is flushed, but Grace quickly dismisses it and Will leaves again, this time with Jack's gifts. As the door closes, Sam emerges from the bedroom, wearing one of Grace's robes.

The next day, Grace buys Will some snacks and attempts to tell him the truth, but he is busy talking to a guy on the internet and Grace chickens out, only going as far as telling him that she had sex with someone.

The next day at Grace's work, Karen immediately knows that Grace had sex with Sam. Grace makes her swear to secrecy on her jewellery and Karen reluctantly agrees. Seconds after Grace leaves, Jack enters, dressed in black and looking depressed. He feels that at 30, his life is over. Hoping to make him feel better, Karen tells him that she has some gossip, but both are depressed when she remembers the promise. However, soon Karen is acting out the gossip in charades and Jack gets as far as ‘Grace had sex with...' when Karen gets stuck and just tells him ‘Sam'. This rejuvenates Jack and he and Karen jump up and down, touching stomachs.

Later that day, Will and Sam are talking about Sam's life and Sam tells Will that he's been seeing someone, but before he can tell who, Grace enters. Will is oblivious to how weird they're acting and comments that he hopes he can catch up with the two of them. Will then puts two and two together and realizes what's happening. He's pretty steamed, more at Sam, and says that Sam can't have Grace because Grace is his. He then storms out.

The next day, Grace is complaining to Karen about Will claiming her for himself. Karen says that Grace isn't dealing with the real issue: That Grace slept with Sam because he's the straight version of Will. Over at Will's office, Jack says virtually the same thing: that Will is jealous of Sam because Sam gets to share something with Grace that he never will.

That night, Will and Grace quickly forgive each other. Will goes to change and Sam shows up. He and Grace talk and Grace tells him it's over. Sam agrees and leaves. Will, who has been listening to the conversation, enters and tells her what Jack said. Grace tells him what Karen said and Will outright asks her if he wants to sleep with him. Grace says she doesn't sleep with gay men and Will says that's the problem, because he does.
