Peter- has worked at horizon for 3 years. After being a drug addict in the past years he wants to help the students at horizon so that they don't make the same mistake he did.
Sophie- peters x, but possibly they are getting back together. SHe met peter in a rehab center and after 2 years she came back to see him. Peter persuaded her to stay and help out with the cliffhangers.
Scott- the "newby" of horizon. His step-mother would come into his room at night and I think you will get the picture from there. He did drugs so that he wouldn't have to think about anything while it was happening and his addiction got to far. He got kicked off his home football team for being high.
Shelby- was abused by her step-father so she ran away from home. She became a prostetut to get money to live on her own. Once her dad real dad found her he sent her to horizon to get help. She has a big attitude, but it is only there for hiding her true feelings. Only Scott and Daisy can see through this.
Juliette- your perfect little girl. (so to speak) Her mother married 4 times before jules came to horizon. Her mother wanted her to be perfect so jules becam an anerexic. She began cutting herself to hide all the pain that she was feeling, therefor her mother sent her up to horizon because she couldn't stand her imperfect daughter.
Ezra- was adopted by a married couple who were trying to save their marriage. It didn't work and ezra got tied up in one big mess so he turned to drugs. He got put in the hospital numerous times and his "parents" sent him to horizon to get help.
Kat- a few years back kat and her sister had a race in the ocean. Kat sister drowned and kat blamed herself. SHe turned to depresion and her parents sent her up to horizon to get help.
Auggie- suffering from dislexia, the only thing he could find joy in was tagging buildings. He got sent to horizon after getting caught. His brothers are part of his "gang" and are into drugs. Auggie got sucked in.
Daisy- her parents are alcoholics, and her father turned abusive. She beat her father with a golf club once he tryed to hurt her physicaly. She dressed like death to hide the fact that she really is terrified of it.
