This Space Prototype Zaku is a test mobile suit. From the results of this suit the zeon scientists were able to figure out how to make the Rick Dom. This Zaku is much more powerful than an ordinary run of the mill Zaku. This suit was never mass produced because it is not a convenient design to build. The Rick Dom is more efficient.
