The GM is the first mass produced mobile suit used by the federation. It is based on Gundam but much weaker. The beam spray gun seems weaker than a beam rifle and it only has one beam saber. The vulcan guns are not much extra help since it's armor is so bad. It will be destroyed before it uses the vulcan ammo.
