The GM Commando Space model was a limited production mobile suit meant to fight in space as it's name suggests. The GM Commando Space is heavier than the average GM where the GM Commando was lighter than the average GM. This model has the same weapons the normal GM Commando but also sports a shield. This GM is slightly slower than the GM Commando which is most likely do to it's extra weight. This GM has superior defensive capabilities compared to the standard GM Commando because of the shield however.
