During the One Year War, numerous of the Ground type Gundams were damaged. To repair them the federation mechanics usually gave them spare GM parts. When one Gundam Ground lost it's head the mechanics gave it a GM head. One of these gundams was severely damaged in a battle with a mobile armor. The gundam was completely rebuilt. The basic body was of the remains of the other gundam. The rest were GM parts, as well as some custom made parts. The smallest vulcan is probably off a tank. The EZ-8 still has the primary weapons of it's predessor. The additional pieces were the smaller vulcan and another normal vulcan gun. The EZ-8 does not have the storage container or the extra heavy weapons carried inside of it, as well as the multi-launcher. This gundam also lacks the traditional v-head look.
