The story begins with a space pod flying through space towards earth. It lands with an explosion. A farmer in the field the pod landed in, went to investigate. The door opened, and out stepped Radditz. The farmer tried to shoot him but Radditz caught the bullet,and shot it back at the farmer injuring, but not killing him. Radditz then flew away. Elsewhere, a green creature named Piccalo, felt an enormous power. It was Radditz. Piccalo tried to shoot him, but failed. Radditz then injured him and flew away.
Goku, the main chracter, was flying along on his NIMBUS cloud to say hi to his friends. When he got there, everybody was very surprised to see that Goku had a son. His name was Gohan. He had a DRAGONBALL in his hat. Then everybody herd something coming. It was Radditz. He came and beat up Goku and kiddnapped Gohan telling Goku that if he didn't kill 100 of the human species(Goku and Radditz are Sayins from the planet Vegeta. Sayins are evil, and Goku was supposed to destroy the planet but hit his head which made him forget he was bad.)Radditz would kill his son. Goku and Piccalo joined forces. Elsewhere, Radditz shut Gohan up in Radditz's space pod becase he was crying too much. Radditz's scouter showed that Gohan had a power level of 710. Radditz was very surprised but then thought that his scouter was broken. All of a sudden, two power levels appear on his scouter and he sees Goku and Piccolo. That must mean that Gohan's power level really is 710! Radditz tries to finish off Goku and at one point, Goku manages to get hold of Radditz's tail but Radditz tricks him into letting go. Gohan gets mad and bursts out of the pod and nails Radditz right in the chest. Gohan's power level then goes down.
< Eventually they killed Radditz by means of a MakkanSappo(special beam cannon) by piccalo while goku held Radditz. Both Radditz and Goku died.
