Metallica is by far the most overrated band in any genre ever! I am not open for debate don't email me about this. Metallica is crap. They started in the right direction. Had great talent but decided to let it leave (Kerry King, Dave Mustaine). Kill 'Em All was decent I like the actual music. But what was Hetfield doing he was off in every tune even Metallica's all time best song Four Horsemen. But seriously you can see that Hetfield had to take vocal lessons because he was flat out awful at first. I love Master of Puppets the album and the actual song. Welcome Home was great probably best on the cd, and their last great song. I can truly say the rest sucks. I got pulled into the Metallica phase for a while mainly listening to the early 80's stuff. Then I saw what direction they were headed. Everyone will say Load was where it started. I'm not so sure I think it was earlier than that. Black(Metallica) was purely to make money and not to be actually great metal. It worked and got everyone hooked. Metallica hasn't and won't ever regain my respect and certainly by starting the crisis on Napster over a year ago didn't help. Please remove Metal from your name if your not going to play the genre.
