Judas Priest
Judas Priest is one of the first, and one of the most influential metal bands. The aggressiveness of guitars, the singing of Rob Halford, what more could one say. Priest laid the foundation for power metal, and really all metal played with electric guitars, I mean who can’t remember Electric Eye. Halford despite his orientation is just one hell of a singer, I mean this guy could lay whole towns to waste with his voice. Halford really can scream with a vengeance. Unfortunately Halford left the band in 1990 after the great Painkiller album. Still, every fan of metal must own at least one record of Judas Priest.
