The doorbell just rang and I received Yawara 1-8 from the mailman just now. I haven't had time to review the tapes yet but I'm sure the quality is excellent since I got the tapes from the same place as Marmalade Boy and Hime Chan. I'll add Yawara to the list as soon as I review the tapes.
Just arrived: Akazukin Cha Cha Vol 7-10 direct from Artic Anime in Canada. Wow, the quality is way better than what I have so far. I sent in my own tapes this time and that made all the difference. I thought the anime was older and that was why previous volumes were fuzzy...Wrong! The story moves along beautifully and I can't wait to receive more of this great series.
After many months, I've finally given up on ever getting Touch 1-8 from a renegade diststributor called NuriAnime My name's still on her list from sometime in August but I have yet to receive anything from her. Nada. Not even a note to apologize or notice of delay. Gosh, I just hate it. Not that I want to trash her since I do know that sometimes things go wrong but there is no excuse ever for not sending tapes once payment is received. As a distrubutor, she should send my money back if she can't fufill her part of the bargain or at the very least, offer some explantion for such a long wait. Sigh. Okay, I'm done gripping now. Sorry. ^_^
