Dvd #6B 11/16/2006 – 11/29/2006 Next Two Hours. Lucky helps Luke put on his tie and the two embrace over how special it is to have Laura back with them so they can all be together again as a family. Lucky is pleased that Elizabeth is also going to be at the wedding. Maxie shows up to crash the wedding. Elizabeth and Lulu aren't too pleased to see her. Lucky is surprised to see her there, as he arrives with Luke as his best man. Maxie has the nerve to step in and take a picture with the family. Laura and Elizabeth can't believe what she is doing. Elizabeth walks off after the picture is taken and Lucky follows her. Everyone else follows them and Maxie is left standing alone with the bouquet she caught. She isn't pleased that Lucky went after Elizabeth to be with her. Lucky apologizes to Elizabeth because Maxie crashed the wedding and tells her he didn't know she was going to do that. Elizabeth tells him she doesn't want to talk about Maxie and they dance instead.
Elizabeth finds a badly injured Jason in a church where she was lighting a candle and saying a prayer for him. She heard someone say her name, Jason was on the floor of the church, almost passed out. She is frantic and asked him if he is okay, she told him he had to live for the baby's sake, it isn't Lucky's baby it is his. Jason is slipping in and out of consciousness. Elizabeth frantically tries to call for help but Jason stops her because he knows that he can't go to the hospital. They go to Elizabeth's old studio where Elizabeth examines Jason and determines that the bullet is still in his leg. Jason tells her she has to remove it. Elizabeth balks at this and says she can't do it. She calls Sonny to tell him about Jason and Sonny comes over. Once Sonny assesses the situation he also tells Elizabeth that Jason's only chance for survival is if she removes the bullet. Elizabeth takes the bullet out of Jason's leg and tends to his wounds and stays by his side as he sleeps. Laura's children are devastated to hear the news that her miraculous recovery is only temporary and that Luke knew this all along. As Luke, Laura, Nikolas, Lucky and Lulu were celebrating Christmas it was obvious that Laura was slowly slipping away. Laura decided that she needed to see her doctor to see how much time she had. After examining her, Patrick let the family know that she was slipping back into her illness and that there was nothing that could be done. At Shadybrook's, the children came to see Laura, and was obvious that she was slipping. Luke was able to get her out of the state so that she could say goodbye to her children. She told Lucky that she felt that there was still a chance between him and Elizabeth. She let him know that if was meant to be it would happen.
Lucky went to visit Elizabeth and gave her the news. She was sorry that he had to say good bye to his mother, and invited him to spend Thanksgiving with her and Cameron. Elizabeth brings Jason some breakfast and antibiotics and Jason expresses his concerns that Elizabeth is doing too much for him and putting herself, Cameron, and the baby in danger. Elizabeth reassures Jason that she is fine and that she is doing this because she wants to help clear him and Sam. Ric pays Elizabeth a visit at the hospital with the sole purpose of checking up on her and letting her know that Lucky is back at work and that his first assignment is to find Jason. Elizabeth rushes over to the studio to let Jason know about this. Jason points out to Elizabeth that this is all part of Ric's master plan. He figures that either he or Lucky will kill the other and then Elizabeth will hate the one who is left alive.
At the studio, Jason was trying to explain to Liz that the reason that Ric gave Lucky the assignment to bring him in, was to eventually get back into her life. He explained that pitting the two of them against each other, would cancel both of them, making her available to him. While they were talking, there was a knock on the door, and Lucky asked Liz if she was there. Jason hid in the closet, while the two of them talked. Lucky explained to Liz that he was back on the force and that his first assignment was to bring Jason in dead or alive. Liz expressed her confidence that Lucky would handle the case fairly, and do whatever was necessary. Lucky then reluctantly asked her if she knew were Jason was, and she lied, saying she had no idea where he could be. Sam warned Lucky that Ric is after Elizabeth, but Lucky wouldn't hear of it, insisting that Liz will give him a second chance now that he's clean. Maxie "found" Lucky at police HQ and asked why he won't love their baby just as Liz walked in. Liz scoffed, and Maxie told him he's not happy with Liz, and Liz won't forgive him, so he should be with her.
11/30/2006 – 12/22/2006 Last Two Hours. Elizabeth realizes that Lucky intends to kiss her under the Mistletoe at Wyndemere and so she backs away suddenly. Lucky realizes it is too soon for her and apologizes for assuming she would let him kiss her. Elizabeth smiles at him and tells him she has to leave because she has to work the next shift at the hospital.
Emily asks Elizabeth why she lied about having to work. Elizabeth tells her that she wanted Lucky to kiss her which scared her because she doesn't think she has forgiven Lucky yet for cheating on her with Maxie and conceiving a child with her. She also doesn't know whether to trust Lucky not to go back to taking pills if he gets upset or stressed about his job suddenly. Maxie ran into Lucky at General Hospital and shared her joy that he was there for her appointment. When Lucky explained that he was really there to visit Elizabeth, Maxie berated Elizabeth and left. Lucky tried to apologize to Elizabeth for Maxie's comments, but Elizabeth told him never to apologize for Maxie because she was making her own choices. She also shared with Lucky how proud she was that he was working so hard to get his life back in order. Lucky learns that Maxie has not been Dr. Lee’s patient in quite some time. Lucky confronts Maxie over this, and she claims she did not want Dr. Lee for an obstetrician because she is also Elizabeth's physician and therefore would not give Maxie the same care that she would give Elizabeth. Maxie continues to criticize Lucky for using her and questioning him over his commitment to their unborn child. He insists that he will love this child.
Ric calls Lucky into his office. He tells him that he wants him to find evidence against Jason to prove he stole the flash drive. Lucky doesn't want to go after Jason without enough probable cause. Ric tells him that he owes him for getting his job back for him since Mac doesn't think he should be a cop. Lucky reluctantly agrees to do what Ric asked. Ric tells him he knows why Lucky is hesitant because he doesn't want to upset Elizabeth by going after Jason. Lucky agrees to try to be more involved with Maxie's pregnancy and to be a good father to their child. But he makes it very clear to Maxie that they will never be a couple because he loves Elizabeth. Lucky appears to have been set up when Ric and Elizabeth go through Lucky's desk and find a bag of pills. Lucky insists to both of them that he isn't using again and he's been set up. Elizabeth has had enough and wants nothing more to do with him and storms out. Lucky shows up to show Elizabeth the drug test, but she's too frustrated to listen. She tells him that all that shows is that he hasn't taken drugs yet today. He will struggle with this for the rest of his life and it will only take one little pill to knock him off the straight and narrow. Elizabeth tells him to leave her and her children alone, but Lucky threatens to not keep him from his kids. At Lucky's request, Lulu tried to plead his case to a reluctant Elizabeth. Elizabeth criticized Lucky for involving his sister, and insisted that their marriage is over. Lucky speculated that Maxie was the one who planted the pills in his desk. This did not change Liz's feelings. While Maxie and Lucky argue on the stairs at Kelly's, a light bulb goes off in Maxie's head and she tumbles down the stairs. Lucky and Lulu rush her to the hospital where she is admitted. Lucky insists to Elizabeth that this was all an accident. He swears to her that he hasn't had any drugs since he left rehab. The doctor tells Lucky that Maxie miscarried (she was faking her pregnancy). She tells him that she knows this is what he wanted, since he didn't want their baby. She turned to him for comfort after Jesse's death, but then she fell in love with Lucky. She really wanted this baby. Lucky feels responsible for the miscarriage and vows to make it up to her. Lucky asked to escort Liz to the Christmas party. She turned him down. Liz was thrilled to find the toy she'd been seeking for Cam, courtesy of Jason. Liz was touched beyond words.
