Just Jason #17 May 24 - August 5, 2002: 8 hour original edit DVD #17A AJ and Luke on the docks, Luke goads AJ about "dumping Carly's body in the lake and "dummying the DNA test." He rips into AJ about hurting Bobbie by letting her believe her daughter was dead. We see a shot of a man's jean clad legs wearing black boots listening in the background. AJ claims Luke has nothing but "accusations" and that he is no more afraid of Luke then he is of Sonny Luke punches AJ.
Laura runs on to the scene and breaks up the fight. Another shot of the man in blue jeans watching in the background. Luke is not finished with AJ but Laura convinces Luke to leave though not before he warns AJ never to hurt Bobbie again. Laura says she was able to stop Luke this time but next time he might not be so lucky. Laura says she understands the pain of a mother losing a child, she's been through it and watched Bobbie go through it twice. What AJ did ruins lives.
AJ claims "If" he did anything, he did it to get Michael back. Laura promises Michael will come to him one day when he's older but AJ should make himself into someone Michael can be proud of and stop using an innocent child. AJ is defensive accusing that maybe some people can walk away from their children but he can't. Laura can't talk him out of anything but if he hurts Bobbie again, Luke will come after him and she won't be able to stop him. Laura leaves, AJ sits down on the bench.
5/27 The man in jeans emerges, Jason is revealed! AJ asks where he has been since it's been a year since Jason was back. Jason says AJ "still has a big mouth." AJ wants to know why Jason is back and they exchange insults. AJ insists Jason must be back for "Carly's resurrection." AJ tries to backtrack saying that his love and marriage to Sonny's sister has made him a changed man. Jason doesn't buy it. Jason says he's staying in town, he doesn't care about AJ's life. AJ says he tried to make peace with Sonny and Sonny tried to kill him on his wedding night.
Sonny opened the door to Jason, who he was expecting. Jason asked about Carly and Sonny said she was upstairs. Jason said he could come back the next day. No, Sonny said it was okay. He asked if Jason issued his warning to AJ and Jason said yes. He said Luke had been working him over but Laura stopped him. Sonny said it was too bad.
Carly came down and saw Jason. She ran over and hugged him. She asked if he was there to stay. He said he was there now.
AJ came home, bummed after his run-in with Jason. He looked like he thought about taking a drink but Courtney came in and hugged him. He told her about Jason. He said no matter what Jason did, he was the golden boy. Courtney told AJ she loved him and they hugged.
5/28 Jason paid Skye a visit at the cabin in the woods and he startled her. Skye had no idea who this man was but he was scary. Jason gave her that blank distant look and asked if she helped AJ switch the body in Carly's casket? Skye proclaimed to know nothing and added AJ knew nothing as well. Jason confirmed that he was there on Sonny's request and had a message for her brother.
"Sonny knows that AJ paid to have the fake DNA match and put another body in Carly's casket. But this has to stop. It has to stop. Do you understand?" Jason looked hard at Skye who was freaked out of her mind by now. She promised to tell AJ and he could even listen if he would just go.
Jax arrived at the door. Skye ran over to him and put her arms around him and said just leave now, just go. Jax looked to Skye and said," I see you have met your other brother." I thought he looked familiar, Skye remarked. Skye asked Jason if he knew he had another sister.
Jason replied, "You are Alan's daughter. You are the person that lied to Emily, faked a note from Sorel, helped Zander and Emily get on a bus that was in an accident. Emily's back was seriously injured and she had to learn to walk again for the second time." Wow, Skye said "no second chances with you." Jason replied, "you asked me who you are and I told you." Jason reminded Skye to give AJ Sonny's message and left.
5/29 As Alan, Monica and Edward bicker again, AJ interrupts with the news that Jason is back in town and has already threatened to kill him. Alan and Monica explain to Courtney why they still have hope that Jason will come to his senses and rejoin the family. Pleasantly surprised to see Jason walk through the front door of Kelly's, Elizabeth quickly volunteers the information that she and Lucky are no longer a couple.
5/30 After an initial family confrontation upon Jason's arrival, AJ and Edward went to the terrace, and a frustrated Edward told AJ that he was screwing up the "plan." Edward tried to convince AJ to "spook" Courtney into getting on their side of the situation.
Back inside the house, Monica apologized to Jason for his being immediately attacked upon his arrival. Jason was angry and expressed to Monica his anger regarding AJ's current state of mind and recent actions regarding Carly's "death." Monica misunderstood and asked Jason if he could or was going to kill AJ Jason, obviously frustrated by Monica's misunderstanding, asked Monica to simply tell AJ to leave Michael, Carly and Sonny alone, and he pleaded with her to stop enabling AJ. Monica pondered his words as Jason left the room to find Lila.
Monica then interrupted the "evil duo" on the terrace, asking to talk to AJ Back inside the house, Monica told AJ that she now agreed with Alan that AJ was making bad choices and that he should either stop this behavior or move out of the house, with Courtney. "This can't go on; I'm no longer enabling you," she told AJ Of course, AJ was convinced that Jason was at the heart of Monica's words.
On the docks, Jason met up with a guy who had seen a woman in a diner after the "accident." Jason confirmed with the man that it was, in fact, Carly.
Jason asked the man, "Did she order a chili dog, toasted bun, double order of cheese fries?" According to the informant, she had. Jason then knew what Carly had done.
Loaded with information, Jason showed up at Carly's door, telling her he knew she faked her death and that Sonny should know. Carly was stunned.
5/31 Jason tells Carly he knows that she faked her death because a guy identified her and told him what she was eating and he knew. She breaks down and confesses and tells him the whole story of how she went wide on the curve and her car hit the water. She was numb and cold and could barely move but somehow she got out and got to safety but has no idea how long she was in the water.
She said she found a summer cabin and she broke in and stayed there a few days because she was drifting in and out. She said she went into town to find a payphone to call her mom but then she saw the newspaper about her being missing and decided to stay away longer to get back at Sonny. She said when she heard that they had found "her body" she went back. She swears she didn't fake her death but she did stay missing longer than she actually was.
Jason is furious and tells her that Sonny will be very angry and that if she doesn't tell him he will. She asks him if he knows that Sonny and Alexis slept together and he says yes. She says she was hurt and it ripped her heart out but as soon as she found out they found her body (which she says she had no part in and doesn't know how that happened) she came straight back.
She tells Jason that Sonny has really forgiven her for turning him into the Feds and begs Jason to stay quiet and let them be happy. Carly wants to tell him her own way. Jason reluctantly agrees. He tells her that it will all blow up in her face like it always does. Sonny shows up and Jason reminds her that she better tell him then leaves.
Jason shows up at Kelly’s. He talks to Bobbie for a bit then goes to Elizabeth. She's surprised to see him and the sparks start to fly.
6/3 At Kelly's, Maxie was all pouts. She had seen Lucky and Sarah go into Lucky's room. Elizabeth came over to talk to her and they talked about sisters and Maxie told her that Lucky and Sarah were together. Elizabeth had to go see for herself and went upstairs.
She opened up the door to find them in bed together. She went out and Lucky tried to talk to her but she was mad. She told Sarah that she had told her what it would do to her to see her and Lucky together, but she said she was okay. Lucky said something and she slapped him.
Jason asked Carly if she had told Sonny about faking her death and she said no. He told her that Sonny wanted him investigating where she was while she was missing. She said things were going so well.
The party was breaking up and Carly and Sonny left. Elizabeth was upset and broke a dish. She asked Bobbie if she could leave and Bobbie said okay. She was leaving as Jason was coming in and she asked if he could take her away.
6/4 Liz is still upset about seeing Lucky and Sarah as she and Jason enter her studio. She starts throwing things around and voicing her frustration. Jason offers her support, but Liz cannot stop feeling bad for how much she wasted on Lucky. She says she wishes things would have ended long ago so she could have something else she wanted-him.
Liz pulls Jason in for a kiss. Coats and clothes start coming off, but Liz suddenly stops. She tells Jason she is using him to get back at Lucky. Jason informs her that he understands and it is okay. This makes Liz feel worse. She admits that she cares for Jason and does not want to do anything that would hurt that. Jason says okay, but if she changes her mind, he is okay with that too.
6/5 Jason assures Elizabeth that the previous night's events did nothing to damage their friendship.
6/6 Zander secretly witnessed Carly and Jason in an embrace at Sonny's apartment and jumped to the wrong conclusion. Zander barged in, "You know, you're really something!" Zander continued by going off on Carly and Jason.
Jason came right back at him, "You've always had a big mouth." Alexis and Sonny couldn't help but hear the loud argument across the hall, and Sonny rushed over to intervene. A clueless Zander demanded that Sonny recognize that Jason was stabbing Sonny in the back by getting it on with Carly.
Sonny was angry that Zander always reacts before thinking, and said that Zander was a liability - he immediately fired Zander, advising him to forget what he had "learned" about Sonny's business, and hot-headed Zander left. Carly tried to plead with Sonny to let Zander cool off, but Jason cut her off, saying, "Zander knew enough to back off, and he chose not to."
Basically, Sonny and Jason let Carly know that they were done discussing the Zander situation, that it was best that Zander was gone, and a frustrated Carly left the penthouse to find Zander.
Shortly afterwards, Zander ran into Carly. The two argued about what had happened, and finally Zander asked Carly what it would be like if he "wasn't on Sonny's side." Neither Carly nor Zander realized that Jason was watching and hearing the entire conversation. Jason interrupted Carly and Zander, and things got ugly.
Jason was well aware of what Zander was referring to. Finally, an angry Zander blurted out, "Hope you had a lot more fun with her than I did." After Zander left, Carly and Jason talked about what had happened, etc. Later, Carly confessed that she was thinking of having another baby with Sonny, and she thanked Jason for allowing the Corinthos Family to be happy - finally.
6/7 Elizabeth snipes at her sister when a sheepish Sarah shows up at Kelly's. Zander's protectiveness surprises Elizabeth, who icily reminds him that she doesn't require rescuing. Elizabeth apologizes to Zander for snapping at him, then explains why she's been in such a foul mood. Jason warns Sonny that an old nemesis is preparing to make another move against him.
6/10 Docks: Zander didn't take long to sell out Sonny. He accepted money from Roscoe in exchange for names of holding companies belonging to Sonny. Jason watched all this from the shadows. Later Jason confronted Zander, saying that Carly sent him.
Zander came into Kelly’s and asked Elizabeth if she wanted to go out on the town with him. She asked about his job and he said he wasn't working for Sonny anymore, it was a mutual decision. She said she didn't want him spending his money on her since he didn't have a job and he brought out this huge wad of cash. She asked where he got it from and he wouldn't tell her but it was honestly come by. She said she couldn't go and he got mad and left.
Later Jason came to see Sonny and told him about Zander selling him out. Alexis decided she was going to try to tell Sonny again and opened the door in time to hear Sonny and Jason talking about getting rid of someone. She quickly closed the door again and went and sat on the stairs. She decided she wasn't going to tell Sonny about the baby after all.
6/11 Jason teaches Zander a painful lesson about the consequences of betraying Sonny. Elizabeth finds a bloodied Zander lying on the wharf and rushes to call the paramedics. Meanwhile, Jason reports success to Sonny.
6/12 Zander is still in the hospital recovering from the beating he took from Jason, but he's sticking with his story. He claims that he was angry and fell, too bad that basically everyone is uncovering the truth. Elizabeth figured it out and asked Jason to his face whether or not he did it, but Jason didn't answer. She then decided that she wanted to keep Jason in her life, even if he had harmed Zander.
Elizabeth encounters Lucky at the docks and they actually have a talk about their feelings and getting over each other. They make it clear that they both want the other to be happy in life. Lucky then goes to the hospital to talk to Sarah. While there, he shows that he still cares about Elizabeth by expressing his concern over her relationship with Zander.
6/13 Carly went to Jason's, asking for "help." Jason immediately asked her, "What did you do?" Carly replied that she hadn't done anything yet, but she was about to. She was sure she was going to do something to screw up her rekindled relationship with Sonny, just as she always did. Jason told her that Sonny loved her, and that all she had to do was always tell the truth. She asked him how to not go crazy when something upsets her, but Jason didn't have the answer, and Carly left, discouraged.
On Carly’s way to the doctor, she dropped back by Jason's to tell him the great news. Jason was happy for her, but obviously still irritated that Carly had not told Sonny the truth about her disappearance. She ignored him completely about that subject, and then continued talking about her and Sonny's future and family plans.
6/14 Sonny is on the phone trying to find Alexis. Jason walks in and says that he found her car overheated but no sign of her. Sonny tells him that he will go look for her and explains that it's because they got close and then Carly came back and things have been tense between them. He runs into Carly at the elevator but just says he needs to go out for a bit and will be back for dinner.
Carly walks into the Penthouse and tells Jason that Sonny will be right back so he can go. She says she has big plans for the night. Jason says that Sonny told him to stay. Carly starts talking about Sonny and that she thinks he's going to ask her to marry him again and then about her ovulation cycle. Jason tells her to back up because that's too much information.
Sonny arrives back at the Penthouse and he tells Jason that he found Alexis and she's back with Ned. Jason asks if it's a good thing and Sonny says that everything worked out for once. Jason told him good luck with dinner since Carly was cooking then leaves. There's a knock at the door and Liz thinks that Lucky followed her and Zander from the hospital. When she opens it, Jason is standing there and asks if he can come in.
6/17 Zander and Elizabeth were talking but were interrupted by Jason. Zander came to the door with Elizabeth and Jason asked to see Elizabeth alone. They talked, him warning her about Zander and how he hurt Emily. She said nobody can tell her how to think, including him. He asked if she wanted to go for a ride with him, but she declined. Jason warned Zander not to hurt Elizabeth. After he left, Elizabeth changed Zander's bandage and there some pretty hot looks between the two of them.
6/19 Carly shares her fears with Jason, but Carly refuses to heed Jason's advice.
6/20 Benny met Jason on the docks to deliver a cashier's check in the amount of $100,000. Benny, assuming this was a "business" transaction, questioned why Jason didn't just want cash? What was with the cashier's check? Jason simply told him that it was to "pay off an old debt." The money was actually for Sonny's and Jason's annual contribution to the hospital in honor of the "Day of Compassion" which was in memory of Stone Cates and Robin Scorpio.
In the past, Sonny and Jason had presented the money at the Nurse's Ball, but there was to be no ball this year. They decided to make the contribution anyway, so as to keep the promise they had made to Robin and Stone.
Elizabeth ran into Jason outside of Kelly's as he was holding the hefty check and obviously in deep thought about Robin. Liz questioned Jason about the large sum of money, and Jason told her its purpose.
They talked about Stone, Robin and the Day of Compassion, and Liz apologized for her behavior the other day. Jason told her they didn't need to waste any more time discussing the subject. She was envious of his ability to not "hold on to things." Liz expressed to Jason her worry for Zander. Jason didn't think it was justifiable, but Liz had her own feelings. Later, Jason asked her to go with him for a ride. Initially, Liz declined, but as Jason turned to leave, she called out to him.
6/21 Elizabeth reminds Jason why the Day of Compassion helps people to think about those who are living with HIV.
6/24 Jason talked to Courtney on the docks. She mentioned AJ being his brother and he said AJ wasn't his brother. He thinks AJ is so bad but what he and Sonny do for a living is so great? She asked if it was because of the accident and he said no. AJ is just bad news. She left and Elizabeth was there.
They talked and he made it seem like she was following him around. She told him to get over himself. Benny came and told him that Roscoe might be gone but his men weren't and were going to retaliate. Jason grabbed Elizabeth and rushed her to her studio. He told her not to call him and left her.
Later, when Elizabeth was alone, two men came and grabbed Elizabeth. Zander came to see her and heard her scream. He ran over to the window and saw two men taking her to a car and shove her in. He went and found Jason and told him, saying one of them he recognized as Roscoe's man. They ran out together.
6/25 Jason and Zander run back to Elizabeth's studio after spending the night running all over PC looking for her. Zander asks Jason what comes next. Jason tells Zander to go away, but Zander says he doesn't take orders anymore. Jason looks past Zander and sees a message written on the wall for a meeting at noon. Zander says they can still make it, to which Jason tells Zander he is not going.
Liz is in a dark and dirty place. She finds a match, which she lights to see her surroundings. She sees a headstone and realized she is some sort of crypt. One of Roscoe's thugs comes in. Liz lets him know people are looking for her. He lets her know she is there to make sure Jason does what they want. Liz stands up to the thug, but when he leaves her fear sets back in.
At noon, Jason is at the meeting place and the pay phone rings. Liz is on the other end and lets Jason know it is a trap. Roscoe's thug tells Jason he will call back in an hour and that when calls again, Jason better be alone.
Jason turns around and sees Zander. Zander instigates a fight with Jason. As Jason has him on the ground, Zander whispers to Jason that this will make Roscoe's men think they are really on different sides so they can work together. Jason starts to walk away and Zander runs after him and jumps him. As Jason is about to punch Zander, Taggert walks up and arrests them both.
At the station, Taggert and Mac harass Zander and Jason. They agree to let Zander go if he is willing to press charges against Jason. When Zander refuses, the police decided to hold them both for 24 hours.
Roscoe's thug yells at Elizabeth for her bold move of saying what she did to Jason. He reminds her that Jason better do what he wants or she won't be leaving her new home. When the hour is up, the boys are still in jail as the phone rings. Liz is seen at her crypt, pleading to get out.
6/26 Jason and Zander are still waiting to be released that the PCPD head quarters. Taggert doesn't really have anything to hold them on, but he refuses to let them go. Jason calls Sonny and asks him to come down and post bail. When Sonny gets there, Taggert seems a little surprised that Sonny doesn't want to bail Zander as well.
After the threat of pressing harassment charges (which were false, since Alexis told Sonny to get another lawyer because she was busy), Taggert releases Jason and Zander. Jason makes it to the pier just in time to receive a phone call.
Still convinced that he can be of some help to Elizabeth, Zander goes off to find information. At a bar, he recognizes one of Elizabeth's kidnappers and happens to know the person he is sitting with, so he goes up and starts a conversation. The kidnapper leaves in a hurry, but Zander stays and tries to convince his old friend that he wants to be of help to him and do something against Sonny and Jason.
He mentions that Sonny has men all around town searching for some girl and offers to help with it. The guy says he'll make some calls, walks behind Zander and hits him over the head.
Elizabeth is still locked away in the Quinn Mausoleum and she's becoming more desperate by the minute. She tried to escape by distracting her capture and pretending to be hurt, which didn't work. Having angered her captor, he refused to give her the batteries that he had brought for her slowly dying lamp.
Once he leaves, Elizabeth works at escaping by pulling rods out of the wall, but she isn't successful and instead comes face to face with her dead companions. When her captor comes back, he calls the pay phone that Jason is supposed to be at and tells him that he has to get information from Sonny and relay it to him or Elizabeth will die. Given a chance to speak, Elizabeth tries to tell Jason where she is, but she is cut off before she can finish.
7/2 Inside the crypt, a fearful Elizabeth wonders why her captor has stopped coming by to check on her. Jason asks his grandfather for a print-out of all the ELQ facilities within a fifty mile radius of Port Charles.
7/3 Jason almost beats Lucky up at the docks, because he thought he was someone else. Lucky questions him about Elizabeth's disappearance. Jason tells the truth; that he doesn't know. Nikolas shows up to break up the fight and defend his brother.
The entire Quartermaine family gathers at the mansion; some invited and others, like Courtney and AJ, not. Everyone is curious as to what this gathering is all about. When Jason shows up, Lila requests to speak in private with her grandson. Knowing that he wouldn't come to the Quartermaine mansion willingly she asks him if Edward had blackmailed him. He says yes and Lila tells him that she's going to bed and doesn't want to be a part of Edward's blackmail.
Jason goes back to where the rest of the family is and AJ begins acting more like himself. He gets upset with the entire family for never questioning Jason's shady behavior and the fact that Jason is a hitman. He then proceeds to take out the dish that he stole from the family and throw it at the wall. He breaks a few more things and then takes a swig of Vodka; trying to encourage his family to call the cops. AJ leaves with Courtney after almost taking one of the family cars. Tired of being at the mansion, Jason demands that Edward give him the information he requested. When denied, Jason reaches inside Edward's jacket, takes it, and leaves.
7/4 Jason approaches Taggert for help after growing increasingly concerned about Elizabeth and Zander, and Carly offers Jason a clue. Meanwhile in the crypt, Zander charms Elizabeth with admissions about his past.
7/5 Jason still can't get any info on Elizabeth's whereabouts. Carly tries to throw Taggert out but Jason stops her. Taggert needs more info on who grabbed Elizabeth because he's getting nowhere. Carly can't keep her mouth shut and tries to make this about Sonny. Carly tells Jason not to trust Taggert. Jason is stuck between wanting desperately to find Liz and telling Taggert private information.
He thinks the ELQ is someone's initials not relating to his family. Taggert wants to know what the dead men said before they died. Jason won't give it up. He won't tell what the ransom demand was. Taggert keeps pushing and Jason tells him to go to hell. He tells him he'll find Elizabeth without him. Taggert says he didn't ask him to role over on Sonny and that he'll get his men on his list. Sonny walks in and tells Jason this better be worth it.
Zander and Elizabeth meanwhile, are kissing in the crypt. She tells him not to stop. What a hussy! She's so fickle. They start taking off their clothes and lay down on the ground. They notice a crack in the wall and decide to try to break through.
Suddenly the cement wall breaks free in pieces and Zander continues to scratch at it. They find water pipes but the pipe is empty. Zander figures out that it's a gas line they broke open. Zander tries to plug it. He turns around and finds Liz passed out on the floor. He picks her up and carries her to the door. He's starting to feel the gas too but keeps trying to fix the leak. He eventually passes out as well.
Jason meets with Benny on the docks. He doesn't have any info for him. Benny tells him about the Quinns. They were a mob family but are dead and buried. Jason wants to know about the Quinn's. He wants to know where they are buried. Benny says St. Anne's cemetery and Jason takes off.
7/8 Jason got to the gates where the crypt was but the guard wouldn't let him in. Jason of course just conked him out and managed to get inside. He had the key and tried to get into the crypt but couldn't at first. Sonny showed up and saw Jason was going to shoot his way in but he had smelled gas and didn't want to shoot.
He finally got it open and got Elizabeth out. They didn't know Zander was in there also so didn't get to him. Elizabeth woke up and asked about Zander and Sonny went to get him but it blew, sending Sonny flying.
7/9 After the terrible explosion, Jason, Sonny and Elizabeth are shaken but okay. Jason later finds a badly injured Zander amidst the rubble. When Taggert arrives and starts asking questions, Sonny and Jason are quick to jump to her defense.
7/10 Elizabeth and Jason talk in her hospital room. He gives her a postcard that he had bought her while he was in Italy. It had a picture of a painting on the front, which he said reminded him of her and her painting. She asks him why he never sent it and he explains that he needed to see her; he needed to make sure she still wanted to get a postcard from him. Elizabeth mentions that, although it may seem selfish, she always wanted to have a connection with him. Jason then proceeds to talk about how it's his fault that she was kidnapped.
Later, Elizabeth confesses that there were times while she was in the crypt that she wished she'd never known Jason and times when she believed he would undoubtedly save her. Jason says he doesn't want to get Elizabeth in that type of situation again, one where she almost dies. Elizabeth grows a tad bit concerned that Jason is trying to tell her that he can't be her friend any more for her own safety.
Jason goes to the penthouse and Sonny tells him that something is bothering Carly and he doesn't know how to help her. Sonny talks about how he does want a child but that he can accept it because he won't have to go through the pain of losing a child again. Jason tells him that's good that Carly is getting fertility treatments and it could work.
They then talk business and about who might be used next to get information from Sonny. While Sonny and Jason continue talking, Ned stops by to drop off Alexis's key. Sonny gives Jason the keys and says Jason can have it but warns him that if he and Carly have a baby, they're kicking him out to make a nursery.
Jason is informed that Roy has bought Pier 52 right out from under them.
7/11 Decked out in their finest duds, Felicia and Roy met on the docks and ran into a confrontational Jason. Jason questioned Roy about his buying Pier 52, which was right in the middle of Sonny's network. After a "casual threat", Jason left.
Jason arrived at Alexis’ to ask for her help with Roy DiLucca. As Jason explained the situation, the movers dropped a lamp, startling Alexis and making her drop her briefcase. Alexis immediately ran out to check out what had happened, and as Jason tried to help gather her things, he accidentally saw her pregnancy paperwork!
An unsuspecting Alexis came back and told Jason that she would research the Pier 52 situation for him. Knowing what he now did, Jason couldn't help but "go gently" with Alexis as he left.
Jason knocked on the door and let himself into Sonny’s, asking to speak to Sonny outside. He then hesitantly told Sonny, "Alexis is pregnant."
7/12 Rattled by Jason's news, Sonny realizes that Alexis's baby could well be his.
7/15 Pier 52: Jason offered double the price for the pier on behalf of Sonny. They refused the offer. Jason called Sonny to meet him there and told him that Felicia was the one to come up with the money left to her by an uncle. They refused to sell.
7/16 Jason takes steps to protect Elizabeth from further harm, and Jason probes Zander for clues about the kidnappers. Zander fails to give Jason any useful information, and Jason works on planting doubts in Felicia's head about Roy. Later, Jason's assessment of the situation appears on target when Roy secretly meets with a mysterious courier.
7/17 Jason talks to Felicia in the park about Pier 52 and how the people that kidnapped Elizabeth had wanted it. He encourages her to think about how Roy really got the money and how suspicious it all is. Angry and annoyed, Felicia slaps him.
Roy shows up and tells Jason that they are still not willing to except Sonny's offer to buy the pier.
Jason stops by to check on Liz and she eagerly opens the door. He's concerned with how frightened Elizabeth is and she explains what happens. They then talk about what it would take for her to feel safe and Jason offers to get her a gun. Knowing that a gun could cause her to accidentally hurt an innocent person, she refuses.
Jason shows Elizabeth how just her artist's knife will not be enough to protect her and then takes her out and buys her a baseball bat. After showing her how to use it, he leaves to go comfort Carly. Later, Zander comes by, soaked because of the rain. He takes off his jacket and shirt and Elizabeth gets him a towel and some coffee.
7/18 Carly woke up with her head in Jason's lap, screaming for Sonny. As she woke up, she swore to Jason that she was no longer going to fight for Sonny. "He loves me when it's convenient, it hurts too much."
Sonny and Jason tried to figure out the source of the cash Roy and Felicia used to buy the pier; then the two talked about Carly, and Jason told Sonny that it may not be easy to get Carly's forgiveness.
Jason told Sonny she had cried all night, and Jason tried to explain to Sonny the situation with Carly, from her perspective. Sonny felt that once he told Carly about what the doctor had said about the fertility treatments being successful, everything would be fine between them. Jason was not convinced. However, Sonny told Jason to make Jax "an offer he couldn't refuse" on Club 101 so that he could buy it back for Carly.
7/19 Jason went to Club 101 and ran into Skye. She questioned him about being there, and he told her the truth, he had a meeting with Jax. Skye immediately caught on that Jason was trying to buy the club, and she told him it wasn't for sale. She also felt compelled to tell Jason that she would eventually be the only Quartermaine heir. Of course, Jason could have cared less, and he looked at her like she was nuts.
Skye and Jason get into it a little over family issues and Skye blurts out that she is going to be Edwards only heir. Jax arrives and tells Skye to ignore him and Jason asks to speak to him privately. Jax told Jason he wasn't interested in selling and not to come back. Jason then left after a subtle "threat" toward Jax.
Carly was determined to get back at Sonny. She called and convinced Jason to come to dinner tonight, putting in motion her plan to seduce Jason so that Sonny would see them together.
Liz is panicking at her studio when the lights go out. She finds a flashlight and runs outside and down the fire escape. She gets stuck in the stairwell. She goes to run upstairs and drops her flashlight and it breaks. She runs all over the stairwell. Zander hears her and tells her to calm down that a dumpster is blocking the door. He can't move it so he tells her to go to her landing and he'll meet her there.
He gets there and opens the door and they embrace. They go back into her studio and sit on the couch. Zander asks if she is ok and she tells him the story of what happened. He tells her she's safe and starts to leave. She grabs him and tells him not to leave her. They stare at each other and kiss. Jason arrives just in time to get the full scene.
