Jason & Sam #41 May 2 - September 23, 2019: 8 hour original edit

DVD #41A 5/2 At Sam's place, she told Jason that she'd discovered that Shiloh had a file on her, and she thought it was creepy. She hugged Jason and noted how much she would miss Oscar. She asked Jason to check on Danny and Scout when he returned to the Quartermaines' and hoped they could talk to the kids themselves the following day. They kissed and declared their love before Jason left. Shiloh arrived shortly after and expressed concern that Sam hadn't answered his phone call. Sam asked him inside and told him that she'd been distracted. She shared the news of Oscar's death. Shiloh was sorry, but he talked about how it reflected on the journey that Sam would take. He also thought it was time for Sam to join the Trust. Shiloh went on to explain that it meant that Sam would have to reveal some private information that would be detrimental to someone if it were to get out. Sam clarified that he wanted her to tell him a secret that might hurt someone she loved. Shiloh replied that it would be a symbol of her faith in DOD, and her initiation would begin after her pledge was received.

Jason arrived and hugged a weeping Monica. Josslyn saw Jason, and he held her tightly. Drew announced that he knew that Jason was the executor of Oscar's will, and he wondered if Jason was familiar with the Kilimanjaro Project. Jason admitted that he'd helped Oscar with it. Drew explained to everyone that Oscar had donated some of his inheritance to go to helping teens apply for grants to learn mountain climbing. Josslyn asked if she could see Oscar alone. Carly offered to go with her. Josslyn replied that she wasn't scared of that but only of never seeing Oscar again. Jason sat with Carly and comforted her, although she was upset for Josslyn and what she was going through. She was upset for Kim and Drew, too. She knew that Josslyn didn't regret any of it, but she didn't want Josslyn to hurt. Jason thought they just had to be there for her.

5/3 Jason was at Sam's when Sam returned home. She wondered if Jason thought Danny understood that Oscar was gone. He replied that he'd read an article saying that kids couldn't process information like that all at once, and Sam related that she could barely process it herself. She told Jason about Shiloh's visit the night before, and she intended to give him what he wanted in regard to the pledge. He reminded her what the initiation ceremony involved, but she informed him that she planned on being "long gone" before the ceremony.

Sam continued that she would get Kristina's pledge and go before Shiloh realized it, but Jason asked what would happen if things went "sideways." She replied that that was why she had Jason to help. She told Jason that she figured she would invent something to use as her pledge. Jason suggested that, if she wanted to "hook" Shiloh, she should give him something about Jason. He continued that she could say that she was an eyewitness to a murder that had never happened on a man that had never existed, and he could call Spinelli so that the story would check out online. Sam asked Jason what would happen if Shiloh turned the secret over to Margaux. Jason answered that Margaux would look "incompetent" since the murder had never happened. He assured her that Shiloh wouldn't turn the confession in, as he needed it for leverage over Sam. Sam agreed to the plan instructed him to hurry and call Spinelli.

5/7 Jason arrived to see Carly but when he caught sight of Jax, he offered to return later. Jax said that it was good to see Jason alive, and he sincerely thanked Jason for being there for Carly and Josslyn. Jason replied that no thanks was necessary and that he saw a lot of Jax in Josslyn. He continued that Josslyn was compassionate, joyful, and kind, and Carly was playfully offended that Jason didn't think she was joyful and kind. Changing the subject, she wondered if Jason had heard anything about Kristina, but he hadn't, and she briefly updated Jax on the situation. Jason's phone went off with a text from Sonny that read, "All good with Kristina, you’re clear to get Sam." Jason assured Carly that Kristina was all right, and he made sure that she didn't need anything before he left.

Sam arrived at the front door of Dawn of Day with her recorder just as Shiloh opened the door. She gave the recorder with her pledge to him, and she entered the house. She observed that the house was quiet, and he told her that everyone was at a rally in Beecher’s Corners. He added that he would normally be there, but he thought that her pledge required "special attention." He listened to her pledge through headphones and looked disappointed when it was over. Sam wondered what was wrong, and Shiloh was irked that her pledge was all about Jason, who clearly still mattered to her. She reminded him that Jason was her son's father, so he would always be a part of her life. She thought that putting her son's father at risk showed how far she would go for Dawn of Day. He accepted her answer and told her that they could start her initiation that night. He got up and locked the front door.

Moments later, Shiloh led Sam into the attic and began to light candles. He advised her that members usually wore a "special garment" and were welcomed by other members of the Trust for their initiation. She admitted that she was glad it was just the two of them. He handed her a cup and told her to drink it in order to calm her nerves. "Do I seem nervous?" she said, cool and amused. She told him that she wanted to be fully aware of everything he had planned. He told her to get comfortable, as there would be pain, but it would be followed by pleasure. As the tattoo needle buzzed, he asked if she was ready, and she replied that she was ready.

Outside the house, Jason looked through the windows and tried to open the front door. When he found it locked, he took a beat, then kicked the door.

5/8 At DOD house, Shiloh was about to tattoo a prone Sam when Jason broke down the front door, pulled out his gun, and headed to the attic room. Shiloh assured Sam that her pain would pass. Before he could get any further, Jason hit him over the head and knocked him out. "It's over," Jason said. He informed Sam that Kristina had had a breakthrough and was finished with DOD. Jason looked at Sam's back and saw that it was bleeding, but Sam insisted that he look for Kristina's pledge and not worry about her. Shiloh began to stir, and Sam picked up a vase and threw it against a wall. She screamed for the intruder to leave. Shiloh opened his eyes, and Sam tended to the bump on his head. She asked what he could remember. Jason picked the lock on the records room door and entered to look for the pledge.

Shiloh stated that he had heard the smash, and he guessed that Jason had been in the room. Sam assured him that Jason wouldn't have missed his target, and it had been an unknown man ranting about his kid and DOD. He had run off when she'd thrown the vase at him. She suggested they call the police, but Shiloh refused. He called the house a sanctuary, and he didn't want to draw attention. He wanted to finish Sam's initiation. Sam thought it wasn't a good idea, and she was worried about Shiloh. He declared that once started, the ceremony couldn't be stopped, but suddenly, he lost his footing and tumbled to the floor. Sam continued to tend to Shiloh and suggested she get some ice. Shiloh was grateful to her for saving his life, but Sam replied that he and DOD saved her life every day. Shiloh received a phone call from Kim, who asked to meet with him to talk about Oscar. Sam returned with ice. Shiloh hoped she wasn't disappointed, but they would finish what they had started another time.

Jason got to Sonny's house. He revealed that he'd been able to get into the records room and retrieve the files, but all of the pledges had been replaced with blank pages. Sonny declared that Shiloh had only been safe while Kristina had been around. "He doesn't have her anymore," Sonny confirmed.

5/9 Jason entered the Quartermaine living room and found Sam, and they watched Danny out the window. Sam informed Jason that she'd been able to cover for Jason, so Shiloh had no idea that his assailant was Jason. Jason revealed that Shiloh had replaced the papers in the files with blank pages, but he told Sam that she was "off the hook," anyway, since Kristina had had a breakthrough. He reasoned that nothing Kristina could have said in her pledge could get Sonny convicted. Sam countered that the guilt would probably still eat Kristina alive. Sam said that they needed to find the pledge before Shiloh could use it. "He can't use it if he's in the Pine Barrens," Jason stated. Sam thought that he would be the top suspect, but Jason assured her that there would be no evidence.

She countered that Kristina would know it was him, and she was too fragile. She thought that the better way to beat Shiloh would be to blackmail him with his illegal initiation ceremony. She explained that drugging someone was assault, and having sex with someone after drugging them was sexual assault. She suggested that she let Shiloh finish her initiation and record it. Shiloh slung his backpack over his shoulder and walked toward the front door. When he opened it, he was pleasantly surprised to see Kristina. "You came back," he said in shock.

5/10 Shiloh was thrilled to see Kristina when she turned up at the DOD house. He invited her inside. "Welcome home, Krissy," he said. He suggested some tea and noticed that the young woman seemed anxious. As he drew closer, Kristina backed away from him. She informed him that she had rethought her life's choices, and she would not be returning to DOD. Shiloh was disappointed, and he told her he'd miss her. Kristina announced that she wanted her signed pledge returned to her. Shiloh responded that it wasn't that simple, even though Kristina reminded him that it would no longer be needed. He told her that that wasn't how it worked. Kristina proceeded to accuse him of drugging her and planning to rape her. Shiloh remained calm as Kristina continued to shout out accusations at him. He wondered where she'd heard her information, and Kristina declared that it was right from him.

Shiloh asked Kristina to sit down, but she refused to listen to him. Shiloh clarified that Kristina's signed pledge had been a gift to him, and he still had faith in her. He added that he thought that Kristina had changed, but Kristina replied that her eyes had been opened. Shiloh thought the opposite but assured her that the DOD door would always be open to her. Kristina again demanded the pledge be returned, and she stormed out. After Kristina had gone, Shiloh spoke to Harmony on the phone. He told her that someone had stolen the blank pledge folders but that the real pledges were "safe and sound" until needed.

5/13 People began to arrive for Oscar’s Memorial. Sam and Michael chatted, and Sam remarked that no one was to be wearing black. Michael admitted that Monica hadn't been doing well. Carly spoke to Jason and told him that Josslyn had been having a hard time. Sam hugged Jax and told him he should be proud of Josslyn. Monica arrives and hugs Jason, telling him how happy she is that he is there. Josslyn had something from Oscar for Jason, and she handed it to him. He read a letter from Oscar that stated that the Quartermaine house had been home, but a treehouse had been missing. He'd had Michael draw up plans, and he wanted Jason and Drew to build it together. He promised to be there, too. "You in?" Jason asked. "I'm in," Drew replied.

Ned called everyone together and thanked them for attending. Olivia noted that Oscar had felt that the worst part of the funeral was the funeral; the best part was always after. In a shaky voice, she continued that Oscar had wanted a party with food and drink and for everyone to share funny stories. He had wanted everyone to smile. "For Oscar," everyone shouted. Several tables had been set up, and everyone sat around to eat and drink. Olivia stood up and invited people to speak. Michael was the first to stand, and he confessed that he didn't have any stories. He stated that Oscar had been brave to date Josslyn. "Excuse me?" Josslyn asked. Michael added that Oscar had seen an amazing woman, and he'd been a true gentleman and Quartermaine. He had bonded with his grandmother and had accepted everyone.

Cameron stood next. He disclosed that he and Oscar had not been friends until Oscar had begun to date Josslyn. He recalled the July Fourth picnic when he had intruded on Josslyn and Oscar, sat down, and begun to eat their snacks. Oscar had made room for him and everyone always. Oscar had proven to be brave and had not given up, even while he'd fought a losing battle. He'd held on for the people he'd loved and had taught Cameron about courage. "Thank you," Josslyn mouthed at Cameron. Josslyn shakily stood up. She revealed that she'd had a crush on Oscar originally but had not gotten to know him until they'd both worked at Lila's Kids and talked. It had been easy to talk, and she had seen the real Oscar. He'd been funny, smart, and a good listener. She declared that they hadn't had lots in common; however, he'd been her biggest supporter, and she hoped he'd known that she had been his. "He did," Kim called out.

Josslyn continued that Oscar had known he'd be leaving, and he hadn't been afraid. He'd only hated to leave because everyone else would be sad. She pointed out that the party "was Oscar." While it was still hard, he had wanted to emphasize the good, and she would try. She would never forget getting to know him, love him, and be loved by him. Many in the group were wiping their eyes. Drew talked about how it had been scary to have a teenager when he hadn't been there for Oscar's earlier years, but Oscar had made it easy. He'd been generous and open and had always talked the entire time they'd been together. He was "eternally thankful" and would carry Oscar in his heart. Ned announced that there was something more, and everyone was to follow him to the park. Everyone rose and followed him.

At the park, Olivia handed out bags of wildflower seeds. The crowd learned that the Port Charles Parks and Rec Department had dedicated a portion of the park to be thereafter known as Oscar's Meadow. Ned revealed a large rock with an engraved plaque and the year 2019 engraved on it. Everyone poured seeds into their hands and tossed them into the air. Ned informed all that the ceremony was over, but Kim announced that she had something to say first. Kim noted that the ceremony had been beautiful and had had Oscar written all over it. She proceeded to say that she had been a single mother, and it had always been just her and Oscar. After his diagnosis, she'd realized she'd been selfish, and they'd arrived in Port Charles in order for Oscar to meet family. She was glad they had because Oscar had blossomed. Kim continued that Monica had welcomed him into the family and had taught him about being a Quartermaine. He had been thrilled to meet Drew and bond with him. Drew had given her courage after her own had run out. She grabbed Josslyn and thanked her for being Oscar's first love. "Thank you for just being you," Kim said. She wanted Josslyn to think about Oscar in the meadow and to live a happy life because he would have wanted that. They shared a hug.

The party ended. Sam slyly grabbed Jason's hand, and they looked into each other's eyes before Sam wandered off. Drew had no words to thank Olivia and Ned, but Olivia hoped that the meadow would help to add some beauty back into the world. Sam hugged Drew and stated that she knew he wasn't okay. She assured him that he had proven to be a great father every day. "Even today," she said. Drew just wished that the party had been a birthday party. He asked Sam for help in making him be the best father for Scout because he would always be afraid of losing her, too. Sam didn't think he would give in to that fear, and he would give the best of himself the way he had to Oscar.

5/15 Carly and Jason sat down in a café, and a sad Carly talked about how grateful she was for her family. Jason figured that reminding everyone that they had each other had been Oscar's point. She sipped her chamomile tea and laughed that she only drank it when she was pregnant, as it soothed her. Jason cracked that she should drink it more often. Carly asked how close Jason and Sam were to "busting" Shiloh. Jason replied that they still needed to get Kristina's pledge, but Sam needed to get into Shiloh's inner circle. A horrified Carly wondered how far Sam was willing to go. Jason assured her that they were going to set Shiloh up, but their conversation was interrupted by Carly's cry of pain. She told him that it was nothing, but he insisted on taking her to the hospital.

A short while later, Jason and Carly arrived at the hospital, and she begged Jason not to call Sonny until they had something to tell. They walked up to the desk as Carly doubled over in pain, and Epiphany took her to an exam room. A few minutes later, Epiphany called Jason into Carly's exam room, and she assured both that Carly and the baby were fine. She explained that it was an uncomfortable but harmless pain that was common in the second trimester. Epiphany advised Carly to stretch and utilize warm compresses, and the doctor would have more details the next day. She told a confused Carly that the office had been trying to get in touch with her, as her CVS test results were in. She ordered Carly to rest for fifteen minutes, made sure Jason would watch over Carly, and left. An anxious Carly wished she could get her test results right then. Jason assured her that she would get her results the following day, and there was nothing to worry about at that moment.

Sam bumped into Shiloh at the park as he was hanging flyers. She told him about Oscar's celebration. He thought that it reminded people not to take things for granted, and he thought they should get together to finish her initiation. He offered to do it that night, but she wanted to go home and hold her kids after Oscar's celebration. He wanted her to make it a priority, as the longer she waited, the more likely she would abandon it like Kristina had. Playing dumb, Sam advised him that he couldn't assume that Kristina was leaving Dawn of Day, but he updated her on Kristina's visit earlier. Sam offered to talk to Kristina for him, but he urged her to let Kristina be. He suggested that Kristina had already fulfilled her purpose by leading Sam to Shiloh. He did regret that he couldn't assure her that she wouldn't have any trouble, and Sam questioned if Shiloh would hurt Kristina. Shiloh claimed that he'd meant that Kristina wasn't ready to apply Dawn of Day's principles to the real world. He promised to be there when Kristina realized it. Shiloh handed Sam a flyer for his event the next night, but she revealed that she was going to the Nurses Ball. Shiloh called it a "sham," but she thought that he was being judgmental. Using his own teachings, she challenged him to see for himself and go with her as her date. He agreed and said that he needed to cancel his event. He promised to see her the next night and walked away. She took her phone out and texted Jason, "Shiloh took the bait."

5/16 Jason met with Sam and Spinelli in a room at Metro Court. Spinelli hoped it was the end of Shiloh, and Jason explained the process that Shiloh had used for initiations. He declared that each step could be considered a felony. Spinelli reminded him that witnesses would be needed, and Sam revealed that Spinelli would have to record her own initiation. Spinelli wondered if it would be fake, but Sam noted that she would do whatever she had to do. She was adamant that Shiloh needed to be put away. She thought that Spinelli and Jason could bug the Dawn of Day house while she was at the Nurses Ball with Shiloh. She would return to the house with Shiloh after the ball, and the guys would be able to monitor the situation. Spinelli admitted that he didn't like the idea, and Jason agreed but noted that Sam wouldn't change her mind.

Sam arrived and announced to Alexis that Kristina wanted to see her, but she didn't want to jeopardize Kristina's recovery. Sam didn't know what she would say to her. Alexis thought that Sam should lie because she didn't think that Sam should tell Kristina she'd been "stringing along" Shiloh. Neil was confused as to what that meant but Sam assured him that everything would be concluded that night. Neil didn't want to hear about anything that might be illegal, but Sam declared that only Shiloh had been the perpetrator of illegal acts. Alexis wanted details, but Sam didn't want to share. Neil thought that Sam should avoid Kristina if it was true that everything would be over soon. Sam wanted Alexis to attend the Nurses Ball and pretend that everything was okay.

At Metro Court, Spinelli informed Jason that he had all of his equipment. Jason insisted that the audio be perfect in order to get Sam out in time. Spinelli wondered if Sam had always been the target, and Jason thought that made sense. Spinelli pointed out that Shiloh always seemed to be innocent and had others take the blame. Spinelli continued that he thought that originally Shiloh had planned revenge on Sam, but he'd ended up wanting her. Spinelli was concerned that if Shiloh was disappointed in some way, things could turn violent. He asked if Jason was worried. Jason replied that Sam knew what she was doing, but Spinelli reminded him that there was no telling what might happen if Sam were to be drugged. He thought it possible that she could say anything. Jason stated that they would be there to stop Shiloh "one way or another."

Nearby, Molly met with Sam and told her she'd just missed seeing Kristina. Molly revealed that she and Kristina had begun to mend their relationship, and that Kristina had realized that Shiloh was a predator. Molly told Sam that she'd pitched a story to Peter about DOD and Shiloh. Sam was not pleased and told Molly that she wasn't a reporter. Molly insisted that she had a first-person accounting, and she planned to tell her story. Sam wanted her to stay out of it, and the sisters began to argue. Molly stormed off.

5/17 Sam and Shiloh arrived for the Nurse’s Ball together and Sam introduced Shiloh to Nina and Sydney. Nina wondered where Jason was, but she remembered that Jason didn't like big events like the Nurses Ball. Shiloh chimed in that Sam wasn't "defined by anyone else's decisions," anyway, which silenced the co-hosts. Sam spotted Maxie and introduced Shiloh to her. "Have fun with your friend," Maxie spat, and she walked away.

"Are you sure you wanna do this?" Sam asked Shiloh. He replied that he just wanted to say hello, and they approached Sonny and Carly. He asked about Kristina, and Sonny replied that she was "better now." Shiloh looked forward to her return to Dawn of Day, but Carly said she wouldn't count on it. Shiloh countered that it was what was best for Kristina and her family. Sonny informed Shiloh that his philosophy was "family first and always, at any cost," and he grinned widely.

5/20 In a room at Metro Court, Spinelli assured Jason that each of his devices was state-of-the-art. Jason's phone went off, and he learned that Sam was at the ball with Shiloh, so Spinelli remarked that the decoy plan was working. Knowing that the rest of the Dawn of Day members were out feeding the homeless, the two set off for the house. When they arrived, Spinelli was surprised that the door really did stayed unlocked. Spinelli began to set up his equipment, and Jason warned him that it had to be perfect, as Sam was setting up Shiloh that night.

A short while later, Spinelli checked that he was getting signals from all his devices and declared the job done. Just then, Jason got a call from Kristina, who told him that Sam was at the Nurses Ball with Shiloh. He advised her to calm down, and he assured her that Sam could take care of herself. Kristina wanted to get Sam away from him, but Jason urged her to trust that everything would work out. Later, Jason and Spinelli returned to Spinelli's room, and Spinelli hoped that Shiloh acted "as incriminating as needed." Jason replied that, either way, "it ends tonight."

In the ballroom, Sam thought it was nice to dress up once in a while, and she commented that Shiloh looked good in a tuxedo. Peter approached Sam and Shiloh and informed Sam that he was going to move forward with the piece that Molly had pitched to him. A few minutes later, she and Shiloh sat with Peter, Maxie, and Lulu, and Sam introduced Shiloh to them. Sam asked about the piece that Peter had been talking about, and he replied that it was about Dawn of Day. He asked Lulu to mentor Molly, and she agreed. Maxie asked why Sam was with Shiloh, who led a cult. Sam and Shiloh exited the ballroom, as Shiloh had needed a break from Maxie. Sam apologized on Maxie's behalf, but Shiloh knew that Sam couldn't control her friends. "Get the hell away from her!" Kristina screamed at Shiloh.

5/21 Out in the lobby, Kristina approached Sam and Shiloh and stated that she had to speak to her sister. Shiloh was against it, but Kristina urged Sam to walk away from Shiloh before she got hurt. Shiloh insisted that he wouldn't hurt Sam, but Kristina continued to talk to Sam. She stated that Dawn of Day was a cult, and Shiloh was more than a liar. Shiloh lectured Kristina and stated that there was no enlightenment without trust. He reminded her that she had been better off at DOD, and he told her that she should return. He held out his hand to her as Sonny suddenly appeared. "Stay away from my daughter," Sonny growled.

Sonny urged Kristina to go with Alexis, who had followed behind with Neil. Shiloh called out that he didn't think Kristina should allow her father to control her forever, and he added that his door would always be open to her. "Your door is about to close permanently," Sonny threatened. "You messed with the wrong daughter. You messed with the wrong family. It's gonna cost you everything," Sonny declared. Alexis told Kristina that they needed to go home. Shiloh and Sonny glared at each other while Sam remained silent. Sonny smiled. Shiloh and Sam joined Brad and Lucas. Shiloh suggested that Lucas take some classes, and he told Brad that there were new ones. Brad remained silent as Sam giggled.

5/22 Brad returned as Lucas told Sam that Dawn of Day had seemingly made Brad a much less anxious parent. Sam assured the two that anxiety was a normal part of being a parent and that they were doing fine. She didn't think that they needed anyone to tell them how to parent, especially if the "teacher" hadn't had a child. Lucy appeared onstage and announced the next act, Ned and Olivia. The duo sang "Get Closer" by Seals & Crofts and shared a kiss at the end of the song to thunderous applause. A clearly agitated Shiloh returned to his table and informed Sam that he'd just learned that "someone betrayed me in the worst way possible." He confided that he had a child that the mother had never told him about. He glared as Michael and Willow returned to the ballroom, and Sam, Lucas, and Brad all noticed. Shiloh vowed to find the child he knew was out there. Sam chased after Shiloh through the lobby. Sam sat Shiloh down and calmed him with his own breathing techniques. She was worried about him and didn't want him to go through things alone. He appreciated her and told her that he needed her and her strength with him. He begged to complete her initiation that night, and she replied, "Let's do it." 5/23 Sam and Shiloh arrived at the DOD house, and Sam announced that she was ready for the initiation into the Trust. Shiloh declared that he was ready to seal the bond with Sam. Jason and Sonny sat outside in a car, listening to the conversation. Shiloh was still worked up over discovering that Willow had had his baby, and Sam tried to calm him down. Shiloh was distraught over the loss of being able to accomplish great things with Willow. "Don't let her ruin this night for us," Sonny and Jason heard Sam say. "Take back what's yours," Sam added. Shiloh agreed it was time for the initiation. He told Sam about the drug, but Sam insisted she didn't want it. Shiloh handed her the cup. In the car, Jason realized that Sam would drink it.

As Sam lay semi-conscious from the drug, Shiloh worked on the tattoo. He called her his most prized student, and he thought it only fair that his hands touch her. He explained that normally, Harmony was the one to complete the tattoos. Once he finished, he announced that it was time for him to show her a new dawn. At that point, Sonny and Jason dashed out of the car to rescue Sam. At the front door, Sonny and Jason encountered a couple of bodyguards. They began to fight, but Sonny sent Jason on his way to Sam while he dealt with the men. Jason got to the attic with his gun drawn, but it was empty. He picked up the empty cup. Sonny arrived, and Jason thought he knew where Shiloh and Sam had gone. Shiloh carried Sam to another room and laid her down on top of a table covered with papers. He informed her that it was a special place. Groggily, Sam attempted to get up, but Shiloh stopped her. He declared that it was the final moment, and she would be his.

5/24 At the tower, Shiloh told a semi-conscious Sam that they would see the dawn together, and he kissed her. "No, no, no," she repeated, but as he undressed, he said that they were destined to be together. Suddenly, Jason grabbed Shiloh and slammed him against the wall, punching him in the face. After slamming him in the wall a couple more times, Jason threw Shiloh down the spiral staircase, and Shiloh landed unconscious at the bottom. Jason picked up a sobbing Sam and assured her that she was safe.

Later, Sam awoke in the hospital with Jason at her side, and she asked him what had happened. Jason updated her on his night, from getting past the guards at the Dawn of Day house to getting her to the hospital. She vaguely remembered all that Shiloh had done to her and related that she could see him when she closed her eyes. She wondered if Shiloh was dead. "With any luck," Jason replied.

A few minutes later, Jason sat with Sonny outside Sam's room and updated him on Sam's condition. Sonny assured Jason that he'd pulled all of the surveillance equipment out of the Dawn of Day house. He related that they had leverage on Shiloh, but Jason wasn't sure if it had been worth it. Asleep in her room, Sam dreamed about what Shiloh had done to her in the tower. When she snapped awake, Jason was there, and she made sure that things with Shiloh were "really over." He hugged her and promised that he wasn't going anywhere.

5/28 Sam and Jason stood outside Shiloh's room, and she remarked that it had been the hardest con she'd ever pulled off. She'd hated pretending to believe Shiloh because she thought he was "disgusting." Jason excused himself to find Monica to ask for a rush on Sam's toxicology report. Sam entered Shiloh's room and found him asleep, and he immediately awoke when she sat on the bed. He talked about how Jason could never keep Sam and Shiloh apart, but he was taken aback when she replied, "Game over, Shiloh. You lose." Sam was sick of listening to Shiloh's "self-serving garbage," but Shiloh insisted that all he'd tried to do was help her. He mentioned that Jason had attempted to kill him, but Sam reminded him that there'd been no witness. He'd abducted her, and she'd been "too drugged up to resist." He said that she'd willfully drunk the tea and signed her pledge. She informed him that her pledge was "as bogus as that book you wrote."

As Monica and Drew embraced, Jason entered and wondered if he could do anything for Drew while Drew and Kim were gone. He asked Jason to get a head start on the plans for the treehouse, and Jason agreed. They shook hands, and Drew left. Jason asked Monica if she could expedite Sam's toxicology report, as they needed proof that Shiloh had drugged her.

A short while later, Jason joined Sam in Shiloh's room, toxicology report in hand. Shiloh repeated that she'd willingly drunk the tea, but she commented that the recording said differently. He protested that he hadn't consented to being recorded, but Sam told him that she had, which was all that was needed in the state of New York. Jason informed Shiloh that he was going to prison, but Sam wouldn't be surprised if Sonny "dealt with" Shiloh. Shiloh asked what they wanted, and Sam replied that they wanted Kristina's pledge. Shiloh agreed to cooperate and told them that the pledges were at "the place where you almost killed me."

Later, Sam and Jason entered the tower, and a visibly shaken Sam thought back to the last time she'd been there. Sam was grateful that she'd had Jason to rescue her, as Kristina would have had no one. They looked around the room, and Jason eventually found a pile of envelopes with names on the fronts. Sam wondered if they were real, and Jason figured they'd have to open one to find out. "I pick her," Sam pointed out, and Jason opened Margaux's envelope. Jason read the pledge and deemed the pledges real. Sam picked up Kristina's and declared the ordeal finished. "Not yet," Jason said, but he thought they were close.

5/29 Sam and Jason walked into Shiloh's room at General Hospital. Sam informed him that they'd located the pledges, and she admitted that she was happy to see him in the condition that he was in. She stated that it had been difficult to return to the place where Shiloh had almost raped her after he'd drugged her, but she recalled feeling good to be able to see Jason rip him away like a "sack of garbage." Jason suggested that Shiloh obtain a lawyer, although he thought that Shiloh might be safer in prison. Shiloh glared as the couple left. Shortly after, Margaux arrived as Shiloh tried to get out of bed. She urged him to stay put and asked him what had happened. He told her there'd been a little accident, and she wondered if it had involved Sonny and Jason. Margaux closed the door and mentioned that she'd run into Sonny at the Dawn of Day house. Sonny had summoned her there and told her he had "damning stuff" against Shiloh.

Shiloh suggested that Margaux consider the source. She added that Sonny had told her that Shiloh couldn't be trusted. She wanted to believe Shiloh, but Sonny had also stated that he had proof that Shiloh had committed some criminal acts. Shiloh thought that Sonny had merely made it up because he was upset that Shiloh had been more of a father to Kristina than Sonny had been. Shiloh thought that Margaux should be aware of how Sonny viewed fathers as threats. Margaux accepted what Shiloh told her, and he announced that he had a favor to ask her. He spoke about how much people stood to lose and insisted they could not allow Sonny to destroy DOD. He wanted to make certain that if Sonny turned over any kind of evidence against him, it didn't see "the light of day."

At the Corinthos house, Jason arrived to see Sonny. Jason announced that not only had he and Sam located Kristina's pledge, but they had also found one belonging to Margaux. Jason opened the pledge. He informed Sonny that Margaux had had proof that her mother had conspired with Joe Scully to kill her husband, but Margaux had destroyed the evidence. He said that Sonny had leverage against Margaux. Carly returned and Sonny announced that he would make a bid on the neighbor's property. Carly was appalled; they needed to get along with Jax and needed to take a break. Jason related that he and Sam had retrieved the pledges, and Shiloh was in the hospital. Sonny left to visit with Kristina, and Carly asked Jason if he was happy because he and Sam could finally be together. She thought he had to have been tortured, but she was glad that Kristina was safe. Carly advised Jason to prioritize his life, but he joked that she was doing it for him. She said she only wanted him happy. Jason left the house.

Sam arrived at Alexis’. "It's over," she announced. She explained that she had never really been a part of Dawn of Day, and it had all been pretend. Kristina was upset that she hadn't known, as she'd blamed herself for Sam's involvement, and Sam had lied. Alexis thought the plan had been the best thing for Kristina, and Sam stressed how worried she'd been about Kristina. Sam held up an envelope. Sam revealed that all of the pledges had been removed from the tower because Jason had been "persuasive." Sam also confessed that Jason had been in on the plan the entire time. Kristina was annoyed at herself for believing all that had happened, both with Sam and Jason and with Shiloh. Sam told Kristina she'd done everything for Kristina. She had saved Kristina's pledge but had burned most of the rest of them. She thought that Kristina could do what she wanted with it.

Kristina opened the envelope and verified that it was her pledge. Sam thought there could be another copy somewhere, but Alexis confirmed that a copy would only be hearsay. Sam told Kristina that she was free. Alexis urged Kristina to either tell them about the pledge or never say a word about it. Kristina tossed it in the fireplace and lit a match. Sam went to sit by her side. Inside, Kristina asked Sam if she'd gone through the initiation. Sam admitted that it had been partial, but she would survive. Kristina didn't know how to thank Sam, but Sam hugged her and said she would have done anything for Kristina. Sam walked outside and hugged Sonny. He appreciated all that Sam had done. Sam sent him inside to see Kristina, and she turned to Alexis, who stated that they might never know the secret. Sam told her not to "push it" because it couldn't hurt them. Inside, Kristina and Sonny shared a hug.

Jason visited Willow at school and introduced himself. He handed her the envelope with her pledge and told her that Shiloh no longer had anything over her. He added that the other pledges had been destroyed. Willow wondered why he had given it to her, and Jason stated that she had been a hero for helping Kristina.

5/30 Alexis and Sam walked out of Alexis' house and talked about Kristina's pledge. Alexis was certain that Shiloh was not finished with them. Sam returned home and found Julian waiting for her. He exclaimed that Lucas needed her help, and she invited him inside. Julian admitted that Lucas didn't know he was there but was in danger of losing Wiley because of a problem with the birth father. Julian was unwilling to give Sam any specific details, citing her ability to have deniability if something were to happen. Julian had a plan for Sam to be able to retrieve birth papers and do away with any paper trail leading to Wiley. Sam pointed out that it wasn't that simple, and there would be other papers and records due to the adoption not being closed on the mother's end. She suggested that Julian get in touch with his old contacts to handle it, but Julian disclosed that he was no longer involved with those people. He thought that Sam should handle it as Wiley's aunt and godmother. Sam suggested that Julian was getting ahead of himself, but Julian insisted there was no choice. Sam thought they should talk to Alexis first, but after Julian disclosed that Shiloh was the birth father, Sam changed her mind about her involvement. She said that she would do whatever it took to stop Shiloh from taking Wiley.

5/31 At Sam's place, Sam informed Julian that she would work to protect Wiley, even if it meant she had to work with Julian. Just then, Jason arrived with Danny and asked Sam if everything was okay. Sam replied that it was, and Danny thanked Julian for the birthday gift. Julian left, and Danny told Sam that they'd left Scout sleeping at the Quartermaines'. Danny announced that he was looking forward to having two separate birthday celebrations. Danny went off to play, and Sam told Jason about the gift that their son had received from Julian. She stated that Danny and Julian were getting to know each other, and she thought it would be okay for them to spend time together on a limited basis. Jason admitted that he didn't love the idea, but he was all for not confusing Danny. Sam revealed that she and Julian had been talking about a situation involving Wiley and Shiloh.

Jason was sure that Shiloh would eventually find out about Wiley, and Sam explained that she'd agreed to help Julian, who thought he had a way to prevent Shiloh from learning anything. Jason offered that he would be around if needed, and Sam confessed that she wanted Jason to move back home. "Are you sure?" Jason asked. Sam admitted that she'd been thinking about it since she'd first seen him, and she had no doubts. Jason reminded her that he'd wanted a day with his family for Christmas, and he was happy. The couple kissed. Jason presented Danny with his birthday gift, and the boy was thrilled with the game. He asked his father to help him set it up before he left, and Sam announced that Jason would be staying there permanently. Danny thought it was the "coolest" present he'd received. There were hugs all around. The trio gathered to play with the new game.

6/5 Outside the courthouse, Julian handed Sam an envelope with forms and IDs. She entered the office and identified herself as Willow Tait. She requested to amend her son's adoption file with her information should he ever look for her. Julian entered, claiming to be in a hurry to get his business done as the clerk went into the back to find the file. "It's go time," Julian muttered to Sam, and the clerk returned moments later. Julian hit a button on his watch, and a blaring fire alarm went off. The clerk went into the back to make a call about the finicky fire alarm, and Sam and Julian took the opportunity to swap out some of the papers in the file with some that Julian had carried in. The alarm went off, and the clerk returned, proclaiming it a "false alarm." Julian stormed out, complaining that he didn't have the time to wait. A smiling Sam gave the clerk the document to file and thanked him for making "a big difference in a little boy's life."

Jason entered Charlie's and sat with Michael, who was alone. He informed Michael that there was a good chance of Shiloh being arrested. Sam and Julian arrived, and Sam joined Jason and Michael. She assured Jason that things on her end had been "taken care of." He told Sam about his and Sonny's conversation with Margaux and told her that Margaux had heard the recording. "Do I wanna know?" Michael wondered. Sam replied that things were "vile, disgusting, and over," and that Shiloh was "thoroughly incriminated."

Michael asked about Danny's birthday, and Sam revealed that the family had gotten the best gift ever: Jason was moving back in. Michael was happy to hear the news, and Jason added that it had been worth the wait. Sam excused herself and went to the bar to get some coffee. As Julian got the coffee, she admitted that he'd done well earlier. He commented that he couldn't have done it without her, and it was nice to be on the same team. Michael cracked to Sam and Jason that he'd never thought he would ever cooperate with Julian under any circumstances. Sam advised Michael to stay cautious, as Julian had his own agenda. She added that things were safer than the day before, and that was a win. The three clinked their coffee mugs together in a toast.

Chase entered Shiloh's hospital room and placed him under arrest for "extortion, attempted rape, assault, and lesser included offenses." Clearly enjoying it, he ran through Shiloh's rights as he cuffed Shiloh to the bed. Shiloh listened and glared into Chase's eyes.

6/10 Outside of Shiloh's room, Chase was on the phone and promised to move Shiloh as soon as his discharge papers went through. When he was off the phone, Jason entered, looking for an update. He summarized the charges against Shiloh, who was "scared and pissed." He added that Margaux had resigned, but the case was still moving forward. He thanked Jason for not "disappearing" Shiloh, as he'd rather send Shiloh to jail for his crimes than send Jason for killing Shiloh.

A short while later, an officer led a handcuffed Shiloh out into the hall, and Chase informed him that his arraignment would be that night. Just then, Harmony burst out of the elevator and insisted that she was the one who'd drugged Kristina and Sam. She explained that she was the one in charge of initiations, and she'd just wanted the new initiates to be calm and happy. Shiloh demanded to know why she'd done it, as he'd trusted her the most. She tearfully apologized for letting him down. Chase accused Harmony of being an accomplice to Shiloh's attempted rape, but he insisted that things between him and Sam had been consensual. "Sam says otherwise," Chase shot back. Chase reminded Harmony that admitting to a crime she hadn't committed was considered obstruction of justice. She replied that she couldn't let Shiloh take the blame for her mistake. Chase recited her rights as an officer handcuffed her.

Kristina entered Sonny's kitchen with fresh herbs for him as a gift for always being there for her. She was glad that he'd helped her see the truth about Dawn of Day, but she wondered if the police had enough evidence to keep Shiloh locked up. Sonny predicted that Shiloh would grow old in prison. Kristina was happy to hear it, as she dreaded the idea of running into Shiloh around town. She still kicked herself for how she'd treated her family, but Sonny assured her that it was over, and everything was good. She hugged her father and excused herself to go to work. Jason entered, and she hugged him as well. She left. Jason commented that Kristina seemed like her old self, and Sonny related that everything they'd done to help her had been worth it. They talked about the situation with Wiley, and Sonny shrugged that Shiloh wouldn't be able to get custody from prison.

Just then, Chase entered, and he updated them on Harmony's confession. He broke it to them that Shiloh had been let go. Chase promised that he wasn't yet done building a case against Shiloh, and he was there to ask Sonny and Jason not to take matters into their own hands. He warned them that they would be at the top of the suspect list if anything happened to Shiloh. He related that they'd worked together before, and he hoped to continue to do so. "Whatever you're thinking of doing, don't," Chase aded into Charlie's Pub. Shiloh was inside at a table and perusing lists of hospitals. He asked the waitress for coffee, and after giving him a difficult time, she agreed. Shiloh placed a call to a hospital. Sam walked inside and saw Shiloh but headed to the bar. Shiloh packed up his things and followed her. Shiloh declared that he wanted to tell Sam something to her face. "I'm sorry," he said. He declared that he would never have done anything to hurt Sam, and he hadn't drugged her. Sam asked if he had been the one to carry her elsewhere and fondle her because she hadn't given him consent. Shiloh reminded her that many people had seen them together, and she had been attracted to him.

Shiloh maintained that Harmony would have to pay the price for the drugging, and he and Sam would be able to continue on their journey. Shiloh reminded Sam that she had made promises to him, but Sam retorted that she had been lying the way he always had. She accused him of being in Port Charles because of her, and she indicated that he had run a long-time con. Shiloh grabbed Sam's arm as she gestured. "Careful," Jason warned as he arrived in time. "Your next move could be your last," Jason told Shiloh. Shiloh asked Sam if she lied to Jason as much as she'd lied to him. Sam indicated that she did not. Shiloh announced that he was a father, and he'd reminded the police that Jason had attacked him previously. He had also let them know that Jason or Sonny might be after him.

Shiloh left the pub, and Jason made sure that Sam was all right. Sam was happy not to have to pretend any longer. She was sorry because she knew that Jason had wanted to do something about Shiloh, and she had ended up with a tattoo and getting drugged. Shiloh had had his hands on her. Jason assured her that Shiloh would never touch her again. "I'm gonna make sure of it," he said. Sam wondered if Jason ever thought about their experience with Franco, and he admitted that he had nightmares because he hadn't been able to save her. He believed all of Sam's risks were hers to take, and he was afraid something like that could happen again. He wouldn't ask her to change, though. Sam suggested that Jason wake her or call her when he had his nightmares. She admitted that she had them, too. Jason urged Sam to wake him up, as well, during her bad dreams, and he would remind her that they'd survived. Sam declared that she felt safe with Jason.

Kristina ran into Sonny's kitchen in a state of panic, and Sonny assured her that she didn't have to be afraid. Kristina admitted that she didn't want Shiloh to have to die, even though they all hated him. She felt to blame for being stupid, and she thought she should have learned from her prior mistakes. She had survived other tragedies and was already a widowrequested, and he left. Jason wondered what Sonny wanted to do. "You heard him. Anything that happens can't be traced back to us," Sonny replied.

Kristina passed by with the recycling at Charlie’s and struggled to open the front door. Someone opened it from the other side, and she thanked the person. She was horrified to look up and see Shiloh. Shiloh smiled and asked Kristina for one of her signature lattes. Carly pulled her away from him as Julian demanded that Shiloh leave Kristina alone. Kristina had thought that he was in jail. He explained that the police had arrested the wrong person, and he'd been cleared of all charges. Julian told Shiloh to leave and got threateningly close to the cult leader. Shiloh thought that Julian could benefit from a Dawn of Day seminar, and he asked Lucas to remind Brad that the courses he'd put a deposit down on were starting soon. "Feel free to join," he said, and he left. Outside, Shiloh called one of the hospitals on his list and asked to speak to someone from the birth records office.

6/11 At Sonny's house, Jason informed Sonny that he had to leave because Shiloh had been released. Sonny didn't want Jason to do anything, and the men began to disagree. Jason recalled how Franco had drugged Sam and proceeded to assault her, and he hadn't done anything. He just wanted to kill Shiloh. Sonny didn't want Jason to do anything impulsive while he was angry. He didn't want to see Jason go to prison. Jason placed a call to Sam to inform her that Shiloh had been released and to be careful.

Back at the pub, Jason received a phone call from Sonny as he and Sam were kissing and declaring their love. Sonny looked over at Kristina and ordered Jason to put their "project" on hold. He added that it had to be that way for the time being. He and Jason were both sorry. Jason told Sam about the conversation, and she was okay with it. She told Jason that he would have been the main suspect if anything had happened to Shiloh. Jason thought the whole thing needed to be finished but Sam promised that they would figure things out.

6/14 Sam and Jason stepped off the elevator and walked into the Metro Court restaurant, holding hands. She was pleased at how they were just like any other couple out in public, but Jason was still consumed with anger that Shiloh was out and about. Sam assured him that Wiley's adoption couldn't be traced, although she was still worried. Carly approached them and urged Sam not to think about the worst-case scenario. Sam emphasized that she would not allow Shiloh "to get his hands on Wiley." Carly joined Sam and Jason at a table, and Sam updated Carly on how Sam had eliminated the paper trail. Jason mentioned that one of Shiloh's followers had saved Shiloh, although Sam thought that Dawn of Day was both Shiloh's purpose and his Achilles heel. She noted that Shiloh's reputation had taken a hit, and the papers had called DOD the Dawn of Dead.

Jason thought that Shiloh was panicked, and it might lead him to try to grab his child. Carly felt bad for Lucas because she knew how desperate a parent could be. Margaux walked over to the table and asked to talk to Jason privately. He got up, and they walked off. Carly remained to talk to Sam. She mentioned that Josslyn was having a difficult time, and Sam offered to do anything Carly needed or provide a shoulder, even though they hadn't always gotten along. She could tell that something was wrong, and Carly admitted that there might be something wrong with her baby. Carly told Sam about her high AFP level, which might mean there was an abnormal chromosome and birth defect. Sam said Carly had to stay calm. Sam thought there could be other reasons for the elevation. She asked if Carly had told Sonny about it, and Carly admitted she hadn't. She had many excuses, and Sam was skeptical. Carly thought that Sonny had a lot on his plate, but Sam could tell Carly was upset.

Out in the hallway, Margaux told Jason that she wanted to warn him about Shiloh. She couldn't be involved in any investigation herself, due to her involvement with DOD. She had done some research and had found a DOD member who had died of a drug overdose, and another member had taken the blame for providing the drug, although it had happened after a dispute with Shiloh. Margaux maintained that she had no pull in Beechers Corners, where the incident had occurred, and they discussed the fact that Shiloh had always had pull with local law enforcement. Margaux thought that maybe Shiloh had been too sure of himself, and there might be undiscovered evidence against him. She thought that someone else might be able to investigate. "Good hunting," she told Jason. Jason returned to the table, and, when they stopped talking, he asked Sam and Carly what he had missed. Carly rose and told him that she and Sam had had a great conversation, and she was happy they were able to be together in public. After she left, Jason asked Sam what was going on. She told him that Sonny and Carly could handle it. He told her he had to leave for Beechers Corners.

6/19 Jason arrived at Sonny’s and revealed that he had some news from Margaux that could be helpful in dealing with Shiloh. "I want in," Michael stated, and Carly wanted to know what was going on, unless there was a felony involved. "Not yet," Jason replied. He told the three about the suspicious overdose death of a former Dawn of Day member named Douglas Miller, who'd happened to be Harmony's husband. Michael remembered the conversation he'd had with Willow about her mother as Jason revealed that he was going to go to Beechers Corners that night to dig up some information. Michael asked Jason to hold off until morning so that Michael could confirm a suspicion. He asked Jason, Sonny, and Carly to trust him, and he left. Just then, Sonny's phone went off, and he was surprised to answer it to Josslyn. She instructed Sonny not to say anything to Carly, but she was at the police station. She explained about "the kid with a middle eastern accent" who said he knew Sonny.

When Sonny was gone, Carly vented to Jason about having to stay home while Sonny got her daughter at the police station. Jason instructed her to calm down for the baby, and she countered that she would stress a lot less if she had been allowed to go get Josslyn. She thought that Jax would "freak out" knowing that Sonny was there with Josslyn, and she picked up her phone to call him. Jason advised her to think it through, as Josslyn being in between Jax and Sonny probably wasn't a good idea. She agreed, but she asked that he distract her. He talked about going to Beechers Corners, and she reminded him that he had a rap sheet there, so he would be on their radar. He promised that he wouldn't be seen.

6/20 Carly sat in her kitchen with Jason and wondered why Josslyn was at the police station. She explained that she was wired to be a mother, and she was supposed to worry. She was also concerned about Jason going to Beechers Corners to investigate Shiloh because of his past there. She thought that someone else should go, but Jason disagreed. He wanted to get any evidence against Shiloh that might exist. Suddenly, Jason decided that it was too late to go to Beechers Corners, but Carly realized that he was just trying to stick around to prevent her from running off to the police station. Jason didn't think he could stop her, but Carly knew that Jason was right about her staying home. She only wanted to be present for Josslyn and let her know that she could feel whatever she wanted to feel.

Carly divulged that she'd tried to get Josslyn to go to therapy, but her daughter had refused. Jason thought that Josslyn might not be ready, but it was good for her to know that her mother was there for her. Carly told Jason about the séance that Josslyn had had with her friends. She didn't see that Josslyn was moving on. After giving it some thought, Carly decided that maybe it was good for Josslyn to be at the police station in order to give her a chance to focus on something else.

6/24 Jason met with Michael at Metro Court, and Michael updated Jason on Michael's conversation with Willow the night before. He confirmed that the man who'd overdosed had been Willow's father and that she'd gone to her initiation instead of meeting with him as she'd arranged to do. Jason replied that a woman named Carol Lockhart had taken the blame for it, and she was out of Pentonville and waiting tables in Beechers Corners. Since Jason was "on the town's radar," Michael suggested that he go in Jason's place.

6/25 Beechers Corners, Jason listened on the phone as Michael asked Carol to hear him out. Inside the diner, Michael explained that he wanted to help her clean up the mess that Shiloh had left behind, and he told her about Kristina's involvement in Dawn of Day. He mentioned Douglas Miller's overdose, and he assumed that Shiloh had made Carol feel like she was the only one who could make the sacrifice to help him. Ashamed, she explained that she'd gone to see Shiloh in lockup, and he'd convinced her that she would be saving his mission. She'd walked out and immediately confessed.

Michael informed Carol that Shiloh had killed Douglas, but Carol demanded to know why he was telling her when it was too late to do anything. He proposed that she accompany him to Port Charles and put the truth on record. He continued that the cops would reopen the investigation and find evidence that Shiloh had most likely left behind. He handed her one of his cards and urged her to look him up. He offered his lawyer to her and reminded her that she could help stop Shiloh from inflicting any more misery. Michael took Carol outside and introduced her to Jason, who would take her to Port Charles. Jason knew that she didn't know him, but he promised not to let anything happen to her, especially because she would be helping some people that he cared for. Carol wanted to help, but she gestured to her ankle monitor. Jason commented that he had "a way around that." Minutes later, Michael sat down in the diner and dropped Carol's monitor on the table. Jason and Carol got into his car but were held up by flashing lights. A cop approached Jason's open window and remarked that he'd thought the plates looked familiar. He remembered telling Jason not to return to Beecher’s Corners.

6/26 Just as Jason was about to leave the Beecher’s Corners area with Carol, he was stopped by a policeman who recalled that Jason was not supposed to be in the town again and wasn't welcome. Jason noted that he was outside of the town limits, and he informed the cop that he didn't have any jurisdiction. He recognized Billy Price from the past. Billy demanded that Jason's passenger turn to face him, and he realized it was Carol. He wondered why she was with Jason. Jason replied that Carol wasn't feeling well, and they needed to make a hasty retreat to Port Charles. The cop was curious about Carol's ankle monitor, and he suspected that Jason had removed it and forced Carol into his car. Jason refused to comment without the presence of his lawyer, but Billy ordered Jason to step out of the car. Carol indicated that she had not been hurt, but Billy felt that he was stopping a crime in progress.

Curtis encountered Sam in the park, and he told her about his new security job at Aurora Media because he needed the steady income. He told her that Jordan had returned to work, but he would not allow her to stay there much longer and would pick her up shortly. He also announced that he wanted to dissolve his partnership with Sam. Sam admitted that she had been too focused on Shiloh and DOD. She added that while DOD had sunk, Shiloh would be motivated to rise again because of his child. Sam was anxious to hear from Jason, and she revealed that they had never really been apart. It had been a lie while they'd investigated DOD. Curtis admitted that he had never been able to grasp that Sam had really been so involved in DOD. Sam was happy to know that Curtis would be looking out for Drew, but he asked her what she knew about Jax.

Sam revealed that she and Jax had been involved, but it hadn't worked out. She called him a businessman with "shark-like tendencies" but a good boss who would never cross anyone. Curtis was glad to hear it, and Sam asked why Curtis wanted to know about Jax. Curtis claimed that he just wanted to know what to expect so he could be better at his job. Sam thought that Curtis would be valuable to both Jax and Drew, but she wouldn't change their business cards, just in case. She handed a card to Curtis. "I'll keep that in mind," he said as they hugged. Sam continued to wait for a message from Jason. She was startled when Shiloh approached. He mentioned that he'd seen Curtis by Oscar's Meadow, and he also said that he still held out hope for Sam. Sam wondered if he'd been sleeping in the park, but Shiloh retorted that he'd had a good day. Sam finally received a text message, but it was an emergency message from Michael. Shiloh received a phone call from Billy, who informed him that Jason was in jail in Beechers Corners. "Well, you know what to do," Shiloh told him. The cop declared that Jason was in serious trouble.

At the jail in Beechers Corners, Billy asked Jason why someone would want Carol and wondered if Jason was someone's errand boy. He asked if Carol was being used against Shiloh. Jason wanted to make his one phone call. Billy replied that the cell phone service was spotty, and the office phone was out of order. He told Jason he'd have to wait until the morning. Billy wanted to retrieve Carol's statement, and Jason urged him to call Diane. He gave Billy the number and reminded him that his rights were being violated. Jason warned that Billy would lose his badge and wouldn't be able to push people around any longer.

6/27 Shiloh encountered Sam in the park and told her he'd had a good day. Before the conversation could continue, Sam received an emergency text message from Michael, and Shiloh received a phone call from Billy in Beechers Corners. The cop informed Shiloh that he'd arrested Jason Morgan. "You know what to do," Shiloh said. He asked if he needed to be explicit. Billy wasn't sure it would be painless, and Shiloh told him to make sure it was done right. Sam ordered Shiloh to stay away from her, and she reminded him that she had "played" him in the past. Shiloh didn't believe it, and he declared that he would be there for both her and Willow. He would welcome them both back to Dawn of Day. "When hell freezes over," Sam snapped. She added that she would be able to get her tattoo removed, but Shiloh maintained that she would still carry him forever, just like her mother.

Sam demanded to know what Shiloh was talking about, and he mentioned that he'd seen Alexis in court. He thought that Alexis had lacked her normal composure, but Sam noted that that was the effect that Shiloh had on people. Shiloh thought that Alexis was uneasy about Kristina's pledge, but Sam laughed and said it was gone. Shiloh pointed to his head and stated that it was all there. Sam didn't think that Shiloh could prove anything without any proof. Sam told Shiloh he was about the worst person she'd ever dealt with in all of her cons. Shiloh reminded her of their blindfold exercise. He thought they'd had lots of energy between them, and they could still make it work. He didn't think there was the same spark between Sam and Jason. He held out his hand and urged Sam to accompany him. Just then, Lucas ran up and pushed Shiloh. He screamed for Shiloh to stay away from his sister, his husband, and his son. Lucas continued to shout and tell Shiloh off. He wanted Shiloh to leave his family alone, or he would regret it. Sam managed to get Lucas to walk away as he continued to rant. She finally calmed him down and told him she appreciated his intervention. She thought he might want to ease up a little.

At the jail in Beechers Corners, Billy finished up his call with Shiloh. He acknowledged that he would tell people that Jason had tried to escape, and he'd had to take care of him. Suddenly, another cop arrived, escorting a seemingly drunk and staggering Michael, who babbled nonstop. The cop shoved Michael into the jail cell as Jason barely shook his head. The cop cited that Michael had been arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. Jason pretended not to know Michael. Michael slurred that he hadn't been disorderly, and he shouldn't have been arrested. He refused to give his name when asked. The cop explained to Billy that Michael had been talking "mumbo-jumbo" about existentialism and the like. The cops closed the door and walked away. Jason grabbed Michael and asked what he was doing. Michael declared that he was saving Jason, and he'd learned from the best.

Jason turned up his nose. He wondered if Michael had doused himself in whiskey. Michael replied that he'd been getting into character, and Jason owed him. He explained that he'd taken care of Carol and had heard that Jason had been stopped and arrested. He'd walked Carol and her ankle monitor home. He announced that they needed to break out. Jason told Michael that things could get ugly, and he believed that Billy was Shiloh's enforcer. Michael just happened to have a paper clip that Jason could use to pick the lock. Jason was grateful but he thought that Michael had been too invested in the case. Michael realized that Jason thought that he couldn't separate Wiley and Jonah, but he assured Jason that he could. He thought that Jonah would be alive if he'd made different choices, and he wanted to make sure that Wiley would be okay.

Jason successfully picked the lock, but he and Michael heard the jingle of keys, so they waited. The cops reappeared, and Michael began to carry on and babble again. Billy stated that he would take Michael to a local hotel, but Jason took the moment to slide open the cell door. He managed to kick the cop to the floor and overpowered Billy and knocked him out. He took his gun, and as the other cop began to get up, Jason ordered him to toss his own gun and phone to the floor. Jason called out to "philosopher guy" and asked him and the second cop to help move Billy into the cell. He ordered Michael to grab the cop's phone, and Jason locked both cops into the cell. He told Michael to leave. The cop told Jason he was "buying a world of trouble." Jason suggested the cop find a better place to work, and he left. "What the hell just happened?" the cop muttered. Michael jumped into Sam's car and told her that Carol would help them, although it was difficult for her to leave Beechers Corners. Jason arrived shortly after, and the trio took off slowly.

7/1 Jason watched Sam sleep and kissed her to wake her up. She was happy to be woken up as long as she was next to him. As they got out of bed, she admitted that she didn't hate being stuck at the safe house with him since he was a fugitive. She told him about her run-in with Shiloh the night before. He updated her on what had happened to him the previous night, including Billy getting orders regarding Jason from someone on the phone that Jason swore had been Shiloh. Sam realized that she'd heard the phone call, and Shiloh had ordered Billy to kill Jason. Sam wanted to go to Beechers Corners to get Carol's statement, but Jason countered that Carol already knew him. She refused to let him risk his life again, and they argued back and forth about it. He figured that a statement would be enough to get a judge to issue a subpoena for Carol in Port Charles, and Billy couldn't do anything about it. Jason added that Sam couldn't stop him from going, and they play fought until they ended up on the bed.

7/5 Jason sat in the Pentonville meeting room, and a guard escorted Harmony in and left. She stubbornly told Jason that he couldn't shake her faith in Shiloh. He wondered when she'd last seen her husband Douglas before his death. Harmony thought it was none of his business, but he recapped the night as he understood what had happened. He accused Shiloh of murdering Douglas, but Harmony didn't believe it. He told her about Shiloh targeting Kristina to get to Sam, which Harmony had inadvertently helped Shiloh with. Jason thought that Harmony owed Willow the truth about her father's death.

Harmony cried that she'd given Willow the drugged tea and the tattoo, knowing that she'd been sending her daughter off to bed with Shiloh. She'd thought that Douglas had killed himself out of the pain of his family leaving him. Jason needed a timeline for the murder, and Harmony told Jason exactly what had happened that night, including the three "traditional" hours that Shiloh had been absent for. Harmony continued that she'd sent Carol to Shiloh after he'd been arrested, and the woman had confessed, even though she hadn't even known what the drugs Douglas had overdosed on were. She admitted that "David Henry Archer" had had a prescription for the drugs, so they'd gotten the drugs straight from the pharmacy.

Sam entered the diner in Beechers Corners, dressed in the waitress' uniform, and Carol was surprised to learn that another waitress had been hired. Sam confided that she was only there temporarily for Shiloh, and she asked about Carol's dog. Carol rambled on about how she'd done everything that Shiloh had asked, and she said that Sam better not have hurt her dog. Sam assured Carol that she was only there to get Carol's statement. A few minutes later, Carol was gone, and Billy entered. "You're not Carol," he observed, and Sam revealed that Carol had gone home to check on her dog. They introduced themselves, and he wondered what had led her to Beechers Corners. She replied that she'd wanted to be somewhere quiet and safe. He talked to her about Dawn of Day and thought it would be a good place for her to meet people. Carol returned as Billy paid for his food. When he was gone, Carol apologized for thinking that Sam had hurt her dog. She added that Sam, Jason, and Michael had been the only ones to tell her the truth, and it was her turn to tell the truth.

A short while later, Sam recorded on her phone as Carol read a statement she had written about taking the blame for Shiloh in Douglas' murder. When she was finished, Sam thought it would be enough for a judge to issue a subpoena, effectively getting Carol to Port Charles to give an official statement. She assured Carol that she could take her dog along. Carol remarked that not everyone in Dawn of Day was bad, as Shiloh had taken advantage of people who had lost their way. Carol vowed to "turn the tide" against him.

7/10 Jason entered Sonny's office, and Sonny wondered why Jason, a fugitive, wasn't at the safe house. Jason wanted to check in, and he added that he wouldn't be a fugitive for much longer. There was a knock on the door, and Brick entered. He gave Sonny a file folder and explained the identification documents inside, prompting Jason to wonder who was getting a new identity. Sonny told Jason about Dev as Jason looked at the documents. Jason was shocked to learn that Sonny was making the boy a part of his family.

Sonny explained that having Dev closer would make the boy safer, and Dev would be staying with Sonny. Jason thought that giving Dev a new identity was thanks enough for his help in Turkey and that Sonny should make other living arrangements for Dev. There was a knock on the door, and Carly entered to drop Dev off before she went to work. She introduced Dev to Brick and Jason, and she left. Sonny gave Dev the documents to look at, and Dev ecstatically thanked Sonny for them. Sonny instructed him to memorize the details, so Brick took Dev out of the office to work with him. Jason suggested that Sonny consider how Dev would fit in at the house with everyone who was already living there. He also wondered how much Sonny knew about Dev, as Dev surely had a past that Sonny knew nothing about.

Dvd #41B Sonny replied that Dev needed help, and Sonny saw potential in him. Jason's phone went off, and he answered, telling the person that he'd been hoping to hear from them.

Robert entered the PCPD and revealed to Mac that Diane wanted to have a meeting with him about a client. "That's me," Sam said as she approached. A few minutes later, the four finished listening to Carol's statement, and Sam asked that Carol be subpoenaed so she could give her statement in Port Charles. Robert warned that a judge could interpret the statement as hearsay, especially since there was no proof that Sam hadn't coerced Carol into giving the statement.

"Why are we wasting time?" Chase screamed, demanding that Robert go to the judge immediately. Robert invited Mac on a walk to give Chase a chance to calm down. When the brothers were gone, Sam instructed Chase to relax, as they were doing everything they could. She wanted to call Diane to help, and she figured that Carol could be a witness as part of Willow's defense. Sam added that she would do anything to see "that bastard" Shiloh pay after all the bad he'd done. Robert and Mac returned, and Robert informed Sam and Chase that they needed a corroborating witness that they just didn't have. A frustrated Chase stormed out of the room to check on Willow. Sam told Robert she couldn't find another witness, but Jason could. On cue, Jason entered and revealed that he was surrendering himself, but he'd gotten a witness who could "bury" Shiloh.

7/11 Jason turned himself in at the police station, with Sam by his side, but he told Robert and Mac that he had a witness to Shiloh's crimes. Harmony walked in with her attorney, and Harmony introduced herself as Lorraine Miller. Harmony had been given a temporary release in order to give her statement. Robert clarified that Jason hadn't promised anything to Harmony because he would not be bound by that. Harmony assured Robert that no promises had been made, and she had stepped forward of her own accord. She had realized that David Henry Archer had been responsible for her husband's death and other crimes. She declared that he had to be hauled into court, and Dawn of Day had to be ended. Mac wondered why they would believe her after she'd lied in the past.

Harmony insisted that she had no incentive to lie. She stated that Shiloh had been stalking Sam for years, and he had been behind the emails to her, although Daisy had taken the fall for him. Harmony added that both Carol and she had taken the blame for Shiloh, as well. Harmony stressed that Shiloh had killed her husband, but Robert stated that it would be Shiloh's word against hers. Harmony declared that she had proof. Harmony went on to explain that she had been Shiloh's closest associate, and she'd paid bills and helped him to raise money. Shiloh had skimmed cash off the top for payoffs to people like the Beechers Corners police and various politicians, and had used it for tax-free accounts offshore. Robert said that Shiloh could claim that Harmony had doctored the records, and he still wanted something to directly link Shiloh to the crimes.

Jason asked about a prescription for carfenadol, and he related the details of Doug Miller's death. He sat down opposite Harmony and began to question her. Harmony revealed the details of the evening of Doug's death and Willow's initiation into the trust. She stated that Shiloh had put in an appearance at nine in the evening and had not shown again until midnight, which had been the tradition. Mac and Robert realized that Shiloh had had a three-hour window of opportunity to kill Doug. Harmony admitted that Carol had taken the blame for providing the drug to Doug, although she had been at the initiation ceremony. Harmony also confessed that she and Shiloh had both had access to the drug, which had been used in the tea for initiation ceremonies, and Shiloh had had a prescription for it. Her attorney handed over a copy of the prescription, along with the dates that it had been filled. The prescription was in Shiloh's real name.

Sam maintained that Mac and Robert had their witness, but Robert asked what Harmony wanted in return. She insisted that she wanted nothing. She had been responsible for the wrongs committed against her daughter, Willow, and she wanted Shiloh stopped. Arrangements were made to provide Carol with protection, and Robert announced that charges against Jason would be dropped. Sam and Jason praised each other for their actions, and Sam hoped they had enough to put Shiloh away.

At the police station, Jason received a phone call from Michael, who told him about the ELQ shares that Shiloh had been bequeathed from Oscar. Jason was familiar with the updated grant to the Kilimanjaro Foundation, and Michael promised they'd tie it up in court. Michael announced that Shiloh had been on his way to the hospital for his DNA results, and Jason acknowledged that he was "on it."

7/12 At General Hospital, Lucas and Shiloh have words, and as Shiloh announces that he would be a better parent to Wiley than Lucas. Shiloh declared that he would take his son, and the boy would never remember Lucas, although Shiloh would. Lucas suddenly pushed Shiloh up against the wall and began to choke him. Curtis pulled them apart, and Shiloh fell to the floor. Lucas shouted that Shiloh would never take Wiley. Shiloh declared that he wanted Lucas to be arrested, but Jordan replied that she wasn't in a position to handle that.

Mac arrived with Jason and Sam and told Shiloh he was under arrest instead. Shiloh was confused and complained that Lucas had assaulted him, but both Curtis and Jordan denied seeing anything. Lucas declared that Wiley was not Shiloh's son and never would be, but Shiloh said that the court would decide when they saw the DNA test results. He told Sam she would be able to visit, and Sam agreed that maybe she would visit him at Pentonville. Shiloh asked about the charges, and Mac told him he was being arrested for extortion, false promise, and sexual coercion. He added that the investigation into Doug Miller's death would be reopened. Sam spoke up and told him that Carol Lockhart would be subpoenaed. Shiloh chuckled, but he was concerned after learning that Harmony, who had gone back to the name of Lorraine, would be confirming Carol's testimony. He was certain that Harmony would never do that.

Mac read Shiloh his rights and officially placed him under arrest. Sam picked up the envelope that contained the DNA test results and handed it to Lucas. She told him to go home to be with his family, and she offered to drive him. Lucas stated that he couldn't face Brad, but Sam told him it was all over. Lucas told Sam that the envelope felt heavy because it contained the proof that Shiloh was Wiley's father. They sat down as Lucas declared that Shiloh would take his son. Sam promised it wouldn't happen after the judge saw the crimes that Shiloh would be charged with. Michael arrived and heard about Shiloh's arrest. He told Lucas to destroy the test results. Sam noted that the hospital had records of the test. Michael insisted that the test wasn't legal, and genes didn't matter. He urged Lucas to burn the envelope and get rid of it. Finally, Lucas ripped it up and tossed it in the trash.

7/15 At Metro Court, Laura jumped up from her table to take a call and left her purse on the table. Dev spotted it as he stepped off the elevator, and he slowly walked over to the table. He knocked the purse onto the floor, but as he bent down to pick it up, Jason beat him to the punch. Carly walked over to them just then and announced that she'd had Dev set up in the kitchen with a job. She wondered if the guys were "getting along." Dev went into the kitchen, and Jason asked Carly what she thought of Dev. Carly maintained that Dev had saved Sonny's life, and Sonny liked to pay his debts. She thought Dev was a good kid but cocky. Jason expounded on Dev knowing how to survive on his own in Turkey with no respect for the law and how he wasn't familiar with the "game" in Port Charles. He was afraid that Dev would get busted and arrested.

Carly realized that Sonny would then be in trouble, so her first thought was for Dev not to "make waves." Jason added that Dev could be caught doing something stupid and make trouble for everyone. Carly decided that she had better talk to Sonny. Dev wondered why Jason hadn't said anything to Carly about the purse. He claimed that he had only stooped to pick up the purse. Jason told him that was a lie, and he'd had to think about his next move. He stated that Dev hadn't thought about the consequences of stealing the wallet that had belonged to the mayor, who happened to be a close friend of Sonny's and Dante's mother-in-law. Jason pointed out that Dev was a stranger in town, and he needed to think things through. He asked if Dev needed money because Sonny had taken care of Dev. Jason added that the teen could not take risks any longer. Jason maintained that Sonny was giving Dev a large opportunity, and he wondered if the boy wanted to throw it all away. Dev stated that he wanted it all to work out. Jason did, also, and he thought he'd have to save Dev from himself.

718 Jason exited the elevator at the hospital and bumped into Sam, who attempted to hide what she was holding behind her back. She claimed that it just had to do with "tying up loose ends." Michael entered and told Jason and Sam the good news about Shiloh's inability to do anything about Wiley. He thanked Jason and Sam for their help. Michael's phone went off, and he saw a message from his assistant that he had somewhere to be. He revealed that ELQ was playing the PCPD in a softball game.

Back at home, Sam sat on the bed and made Jason cover his eyes. When she told him to open them, she revealed that there was a surprise on the bed for him. She showed him a pamphlet for laser tattoo removal and revealed that she'd figured out the Dawn of Day tattoo was a way of showcasing David Henry Archer's initials. She added that only a small scar would remain, which would eventually go away, but she thought it would be worth it to be rid of Shiloh. She remarked that he would see it more than she would, anyway, and he replied that she would always look perfect to him. Sam wanted to offer the plastic surgery services to Carol, Harmony, and Willow for their tattoos, even though erasing the tattoo wouldn't erase the memories of what Shiloh had done to each of them.

Jason wished he'd made Shiloh "disappear" the day the man had shown up like Jason had wanted to, as it would have made things better for everyone. Sam confided that she'd feared that, the longer she was around Shiloh, the further she would push Jason away. Jason vowed that he would never let anything push them apart. She added that she would always love him, and they shared a kiss.

7/19 Jason and Drew entered the Floating Rib after a day of starting to build the treehouse Oscar had wanted. Drew figured that Oscar had also wanted them to build a relationship, so they sat down to eat together. Drew assured a silent Jason that they didn't have to if it was weird for Jason. Jason confessed that he was still bothered over Oscar leaving his ELQ shares to Shiloh, and Drew agreed, especially considering Oscar's plans for the Kilimanjaro Foundation. Jason thought that the shares would be "tied up in court for years," which Drew called a "silver lining." Drew was more concerned about Shiloh manipulating Oscar and that Oscar had joined Dawn of Day because of Drew. Drew thought it was suspicious how interested Shiloh seemed in his past, and Jason suggested that Drew had known something about Shiloh that Shiloh didn't want getting out. Jason's phone rang, and he answered it to Sonny. Sonny informed Jason that Shiloh was out on bail just as Jason spotted Shiloh standing at the bar.

Shiloh approached Jason and Drew, hoping to put the "ELQ drama" behind them. Drew reasoned that he could, as Shiloh would be "old and gray" before he could touch the shares. He remembered Dawn of Day preaching about how money didn't matter, but Shiloh explained that he had legal bills to pay. He reminded Drew that he'd cared for Oscar when it had mattered, but Drew accused him of using and lying to Oscar like he did to everyone else. He refused to let Shiloh "tarnish my son's legacy. Hear me, Hank?" He demanded that Shiloh walk away, and Shiloh listened. Drew picked up a pool stick to start a game, and Jason wondered if Drew would be all right if Jason left. Drew replied that he was going to shoot some pool to cool down and that he would see Jason the following day for more building. Jason glared at Shiloh on his way out. Drew started to shoot some pool, and the sound took Shiloh back to a time when he'd been lying unconscious on a stretcher in a medical tent. Someone had called out for Shiloh and tried to wake him up. "Hey, Drew," Shiloh said to the man who'd woken him up, who looked like Jason.

7/25 Michael entered his parents' house and found Jason. He suggested that he and Jason build a treehouse for Avery and the baby when Jason and Drew were done with the one at the Quartermaines'. Michael's phone went off, and he answered it to an automated message asking if he would accept the charges for a collect call from Nelle at Pentonville. "No," he growled, and he hung up. Michael informed Jason of the call and figured that Nelle would try to use the anniversary of Jonah's death to manipulate him somehow. He'd heard from Willow that Nelle had been asking a lot of questions about him, as Nelle was Harmony's cellmate. Jason had to go, and Michael decided to wait for his parents to return. When Jason was gone, Michael's phone went off again, and it was another automated message asking if he'd accept the charges for a collect call from Nelle at Pentonville

7/30 Curtis let himself into Drew's office at Aurora and noticed right away that it had been ransacked. There were papers all over the floor.

Sam, Jason, and Danny walked through the park. The adults had a discussion about motorcycles as Danny ran off kicking his soccer ball. Danny ran into Shiloh, who attempted to engage the boy in conversation. Suddenly, Jason ran over. "Do not approach my family again," he snapped. Shiloh asked what Jason would do and wondered if Jason would beat him up in front of his son. Jason made a move toward Shiloh, and Shiloh backed away. He declared that he would report Jason's threats to his attorney. Danny asked his parents if he'd done something wrong, and Jason and Sam assured him he hadn't. Sam was sorry she'd introduced Shiloh to her son in the first place, and she told him that Shiloh was a bad man. Jason urged him to stay away from Shiloh or to get an adult if he found himself near the man. Jason reinforced that he and Sam would stop Shiloh.

Danny asked to go off to work on his soccer drills, and Sam reminded him to stay close. Sam declared that she didn't want Danny to be afraid, though they thought the boy was okay. They also discussed the downfall of Dawn of Day. Jason believed that Shiloh still had another trick up his sleeve, and he needed to figure it out. They had to decide how to handle Shiloh. Shiloh lurked nearby and waited for someone to show up. "Did you get it?" Shiloh asked an unknown person. Someone wearing a black glove handed Shiloh the flash drive.

7/31 In Drew's Aurora office, Curtis left word for Drew to get there quickly. "Drew got robbed," Curtis told Sam and Jason as they walked in. Curtis explained that he'd found the safe open. Jason offered to have the security videos pulled, and the trio tried to guess what might have been inside the safe. Jason suggested it had been something personal. Drew returned to his office, and Curtis informed him of the break-in. He suggested the thief had been looking for something specific. Immediately, Drew revealed that the flash drive with his memories had been taken. Jason mentioned the run-in that he and Sam had had with Shiloh at the park. Drew thought that Shiloh had been more "cocky" since he'd been released from jail, and Sam thought that Shiloh figured he had another "card to play." Jason noted that the card was Drew. The group discussed whether Shiloh might have broken in or had someone else do it.

Sam suggested that Shiloh was afraid of something that could hurt him, but Jason wondered why he'd chance getting arrested again. Talk centered on the benefits of Shiloh having the flash drive, and Sam knew there was something on it that Shiloh wanted. Drew thought there was something that Shiloh wanted him to remember. Shiloh knocked on the door of a room in Metro Court, and Dr. Arthur Cabot greeted him. Shiloh was thrilled to meet "the architect of memory transfer," and Cabot admitted that he had been intrigued enough to return to Port Charles to continue his life's work. He asked why Shiloh hadn't contacted Andre Maddox instead. Shiloh admitted that Maddox had "scruples" and wouldn't have been his best choice. He declared that he had a couple of subjects in mind. Cabot confessed that he didn't have the proper equipment, but Shiloh assured him he could obtain it. He held up the flash drive for the doctor to see after Cabot stated that he needed memories. Cabot wanted to restore the memories on the original subject, but Shiloh suggested that the flash drive could be imprinted on the subject's twin brother.

8/2 A less-than-pleased Cabot stopped by Shiloh's room at the Midwood Motel. Shiloh insisted they'd be less noticeable, although Cabot didn't care for the dreary surroundings. Shiloh informed him that Drew had access to Shiloh's cash reserves in Afghanistan, and that was the reason that Shiloh had stolen the flash drive. Cabot asked if Shiloh still planned to transfer the memories to Drew's twin, and Shiloh smiled. Shiloh vowed to get the participant by any means necessary, but he wondered how it would work if one of the twins might be injured. Cabot assured him that if one twin were ineffective, the other could be an option. Shiloh divulged that Drew was suspicious. Cabot made it clear that he needed his supplies, and he wanted the flash drive in his possession if Drew were truly suspicious. Shiloh reminded Cabot that he could also be on someone's radar, although Cabot stressed that he had no charges against him unlike Shiloh.

Jason, Elizabeth, and Jake sat at a table inside Kelly's and enjoyed breakfast. Jake wished that Franco and Aiden could be there and, as he admired the baseball that Jason had caught at the Sharks game, noted that Franco didn't like sports. Jake saw one of his friends and ran off, and Elizabeth questioned Jason's silence. She had thought that her marriage to Franco would improve Jason's opinion. He replied that he didn't approve, but she snapped that his attitude would affect Jake. She ordered Jason to get over it because Franco wasn't the same man as in the past. Elizabeth reminded Jason that while time had stood still for him, it hadn't for everyone else. She thought his constant disapproval would harm Jake, but Jason declared that Jake would know that Jason had been honest about everything when he was older. Elizabeth accused him of disrespecting her, but Jason reminded her of the pain that Franco had caused. She accused Jason of always focusing on the negative, and she cited many of the positive things that Franco had accomplished. Elizabeth had to leave for work, and she urged Jason to give her credit for knowing the man she'd married. Jake returned and asked to hang out with his father a little longer. Talk turned to the baseball again, and Jake wondered if Jason's hand hurt. Jason assured Jake that nothing he ever did for his sons would hurt him.

At Kelly's, Jason and Jake talked about baseball until Cameron showed up. Jake went off to pick up some snacks for camp, and Cameron told Jason how much Franco had taught Jake about art. Jason wanted his opinion on Franco. Cameron admitted they didn't always get along, but he'd been good to everyone in the family. Cameron went to help Jake, and Jason received a phone call from Sam. She told him she'd broken into Shiloh's room and was about to search for the flash drive. He told her to be careful.

At the motel, Sam searched the dresser drawers and found the flash drive. As she put it in her pocket and opened the door, she was surprised to see Shiloh. Cameron and Jake went off to camp at Lila's Kids, and Jason received another phone call. It was Shiloh, who commented that Sam had given him Jason's number. He wanted Jason to do what he said if Jason wanted to see Sam alive again. "Clock's ticking," Shiloh said.

8/5 Shiloh opens a door and looks at Sam, who was bound with duct tape and unconscious on his motel room floor. He sent Jason a picture of her, and Jason demanded to know what Shiloh wanted. Shiloh asked Jason to meet at Shiloh's hotel room with no weapons or backup. Shiloh warned that his followers would be watching, and he hung up.

Later, Jason banged on Shiloh's motel room door, and Shiloh opened the door as far as the chain would allow. He asked for Jason's gun, and Jason handed it to Shiloh through the small opening. Shiloh closed the door, took the chain off, and opened the door wide. Jason took the opportunity to push Shiloh and pin him to the desk. He demanded to know where Sam was, and Shiloh replied that Sam was in a "secure location." He hoped there would be enough air for her, as it was a "stuffy" place. Shiloh held up the flash drive with Drew's memories on it, and he revealed that he'd planted a decoy for "that bitch" Sam to find in his room. He continued that he needed to transfer Drew's memories to Jason, and in exchange, he would let Sam go. "A clean slate is nothing new for you," Shiloh added, and Jason pinned him against the wall by the throat. "If you kill me, Sam dies," Shiloh struggled to say. He proposed that Jason could either hold onto Sam's memory, or give her a chance to live.

In the junk pile outside the Dawn of Day house, Sam woke up inside a refrigerator. She struggled against the duct tape binding her wrists and her ankles together, and she screamed for help. She continued to struggle and scream until she got weaker and weaker, and she passed out.

8/6 At the Midwood Motel, Jason choked Shiloh as he tried to learn Sam's whereabouts. Shiloh gasped that the clock was ticking, and Sam would be running out of air. He uttered that Jason had a choice to make about whether to save Sam or not, and he would have to agree to accept Drew's memories. Shiloh began to make derogatory comments. Jason spotted a heavy golden hand on the dresser and grabbed it. He knocked Shiloh out with it, and Shiloh fell to the floor, unconscious. Jason stormed from the room. Shortly after, Shiloh awakened and groaned loudly. He slowly got up and stumbled to the dresser, where he removed a gun from a drawer. He staggered out of the room.

At the old DOD house, Sam remained unconscious in the refrigerator-freezer in the pile of trash. Lucy walked by and spoke to someone on the phone, making arrangements for the trash to be picked up as soon as possible. A little while later, Sasha arrived to look at the house. Sasha thought the house would be too big for her, but Lucy suggested they take a look inside. Jason arrived at the DOD house and kicked the front door in. He shouted for Sam but received no response in return. He searched the house without success and went back outside. Suddenly, he spied the pile of trash and moved it all aside to get into the freezer. He attempted to pry the door off. Lucy walked by again, and he told her to call 911. The lid finally gave way, and Jason pulled Sam out.

Sonny and Michael walked around, looking for Jason. When Sonny received a phone call from Lucy, he chose to ignore it. When Michael received a similar call, he answered it and started to tell Lucy he had no time to talk. Lucy quickly told him that Sam was in trouble along with the details. Jason proceeded to give Sam CPR until she eventually coughed and opened her eyes. He cut the duct tape from her hands and feet. Sonny and Michael arrived, and Jason told them what had happened between him and Shiloh at the motel. Sonny called Drew to update him. Drew noted that the motel room was empty, but there were signs of a struggle.

As Cameron continued to pick up trash, he saw a man on the ground. Cameron went over to the man to ask if he needed help, and Shiloh looked up. Cameron recognized him. Later, there was trash strewn everywhere along with Cameron's job paraphernalia. There was no sign of Cameron.

8/7 Sam was asleep but having a bad nightmare in her hospital bed. Jason woke her from it, and she screamed. "I'm not okay," she admitted. Jason reminded her of how strong she was, and he knew that she would get through it. She told Jason what had happened in Shiloh's motel room, but she couldn't remember what he'd done to her or how she'd ended up in the freezer. Jason divulged that Sam had been bait for Jason, and the whole thing had been a setup. Jason continued that there was information that Drew had known from Afghanistan on the flash drive, and Shiloh needed it. Jason thought that Shiloh was "losing it" and that he was getting more desperate and sloppy. He informed Sam that there was an APB out on Shiloh and his accomplice. Just then, Finn and Elizabeth entered to check on Sam, who suddenly realized that Jason had mentioned an accomplice. Jason told Sam that Arthur Cabot was Shiloh's accomplice, and Finn revealed that he'd warned Drew of Cabot's appearance in Port Charles earlier in the day. The group talked about the possibility of Shiloh getting Cabot to imprint Drew's memories on someone who wasn't a twin, and Finn thought it was "theoretically" possible. He commented that the real concern of that was putting the subject into a vegetative state.

8/8 Sam, Jason, and Finn continued to stand in the hallway and discuss the consequences of the stolen flash drive. Finn stated that it was possible for someone to be left in a vegetative state if the memory transfer was conducted. Sam blamed herself for the possibility of an innocent victim. She related her experience after she'd run into Shiloh, and she realized he'd set her up. Sam was concerned about Jason turning into the old Drew, and Jason joked about it. Finally, he picked Sam up and carried her to her room. Once Jason tucked Sam in, she called him a hypocrite. She told him that if their roles were reversed, he would never have stayed in bed himself. Jason agreed that was true, but he was okay with it as long as Sam made a full recovery. Sam told Jason that it wasn't necessary for him to stay with her, although she was aware that he wanted to keep an eye on her. Elizabeth arrived to check on the patient, and she asked to borrow Jason. Sam promised she would stay put, and Jason followed Elizabeth out into the hall.

Elizabeth was apologetic but explained that she'd been unable to reach either Cameron or Franco. She had also learned that Cameron hadn't signed out at his community service job and had broken several rules that day. She informed Jason about the phone tracking, and Jason offered to have Spinelli follow it up. After talking to Spinelli, Jason revealed that he had an address, and Elizabeth was certain that Cameron would be embarrassed when she showed up. She told Jason to stay with Sam, but she called Chase and asked for his help. She told him it was urgent.

8/14 Jason and Sam arrived home in their Corinthos Coffee softball uniforms, and she was proud of him for getting the game-winning hit against Michael and ELQ. She told him that she wanted to play next time, but he reminded her that she'd almost died. She exclaimed that she was grateful to be alive, and the two shared a kiss. He picked her up and headed toward the stairs, but he stopped when there was a knock on the door. Robert announced himself, so Jason put Sam down and let Robert in. Robert informed Sam that he still needed her statement, and he also wanted to update Sam and Jason on the situation. Sam gave her statement to Robert, and he assured them that Shiloh and Cabot were in jail. He added that the flash drive was in evidence, but he wasn't sure how functional it would be after it had been used. He told the shocked Sam and Jason about what had happened to Cameron and Franco, and that, while Franco was physically fine, he believed he was Drew.

8/15 Robert paid a visit to Sam and Jason and revealed that Franco could be identifying himself as Drew. Sam and Jason realized that the memories from the flash drive were involved. Sam wondered if there might be some way to reverse the transfer, and Jason asked if there had been a baseline made of Franco's memories. Robert stated that the only options would find Franco with Drew's memories or in a vegetative state. Robert left, and Jason related that what had been done to Franco was the same thing that had been done to Jason in Russia. He recalled always feeling as though he had been drugged. Sam wouldn't wish the feeling on anyone. Jason admitted that he would never forgive Franco for what he'd done to Sam and Michael, and Sam felt the same. Jason acknowledged that Franco had saved Cameron, though, and he thought that might count for something. Sam suggested that Franco might be able to tell Drew about his past.

Sam arrived, and after asking about Cameron and Franco, she told Elizabeth how sorry she was. She wanted to talk to Franco. She couldn't believe it when Elizabeth said that he was gone, and she had no idea where he might be. Drew hoped they could get to the part of Franco that was still Franco and remind him about his life. Jason found himself face to face with Franco.

8/16 Sam arrived to see Sonny and Carly and disclosed that she had both good and bad news. While Sonny and Carly were both familiar with the incident involving Shiloh, Cameron, and Franco, Sam revealed she'd received an update from Robert. Sam announced that Cameron was okay, the memory transfer on Franco had worked, and Franco was convinced that he was Navy SEAL Andrew Cain. Sam added that she'd also spoken to Drew, who had been doing his best to comfort Elizabeth and was certain things would turn out for the best. Carly thought that Drew's take was too romantic and not likely, especially considering the fact that Drew still had Jason's memories.

Carly didn't think that anyone would be able to force Franco to accept who he really was, and Sonny believed Franco would have to do it on his own terms. Carly wondered if they were supposed to treat Franco as another version of Drew. Carly asked how Sam was doing after being locked in the freezer, and Sam acknowledged that, if nothing else, it had shown her to appreciate life. Sonny admitted that he'd had the same eye-opening experience at his father's wedding. Carly noted that she had enjoyed the minister at the wedding, and Sam was aghast. She stated that she had believed the wedding to be in name only. Carly divulged that Sonny had played minister because Mike hadn't recognized him. Sonny revealed that he and Carly had decided to renew their own vows, and Sam was excited. She offered her congratulations and asked for details. Carly declared that nothing had been decided, but they wanted to keep the occasion small with just family. Sam hoped she and Jason would be invited. After she left, Sonny and Carly agreed that a ceremony at home and on the terrace would be perfect. Sonny stated that the house was a home because of Carly, and she was his whole life. "Right back at you," Carly said as they shared a kiss.

At the Floating Rib, Jason informed Franco that he was Jason Morgan, not Quartermaine. "My twin," Franco declared. Franco admitted that he'd seen his face in the mirror. He looked different, but Jason had his face. He'd recognized him because he'd seen photos of Jason in the newspaper in the past. He had also done research on Jason, who was a "rich kid with my face." He knew everything about Jason. Jason related that his parents hadn't known anything about Jason's twin, who had been given away to Betsy Frank, but Franco was Franco Baldwin, who was married to Elizabeth Webber. Franco disagreed and declared that he never wanted to see Elizabeth again. Franco revealed that he wanted to leave town and wondered if Jason would try to stop him.

Franco asked Jason if he was still rich, and he suggested that Jason give him a loan for the bus. Jason offered to find him a room for the night and some help the following day. Franco replied that he was fine the way he was. On second thought, he decided he didn't want to owe Jason any money. He ordered Jason to stay away from him. Jason informed him that he was attached to many people in town. When he said Franco's name, Franco lost his temper. Jason informed Franco that he didn't want to fight. Chase walked over to see what the problem was as the men argued, and he addressed Franco by his name. Franco slugged him. Jason tried to settle Franco down as Chase identified himself as a cop. He arrested Franco for assaulting a police officer, and he read him his rights. Franco complained that Chase hadn't been wearing a uniform.

8/19 Franco was sitting in his cell at the Port Charles Police Station when Jason arrived for a visit. Franco divulged that people had been telling him that he was a victim of a "memory experiment gone wrong," and Jason nodded. Franco asked how it had happened, and Jason started from the beginning with Helena's mind-control technology. Franco commented that everyone had kept their stories straight, but Jason replied that he wasn't there to convince Franco. He continued that no one had any idea how to undo the transfer, but Franco insisted that he didn't need help. Jason left, and Franco threw his food tray against the bars in anger.

At the police station, Scott couldn't believe what Drew was telling him about Franco. Drew advised Scott to prepare himself, as the man wasn't Franco. Regardless, Scott figured that Franco would need a lawyer, and he refused to walk away from his son. Shiloh used his one phone call to tell someone that he had interesting information about Alexis. A few minutes later, he was glad that his information had been helpful, and he hung up the phone with a smirk. Elsewhere, someone scrolled through articles about Alexis' hit and run of Kiefer on their tablet.

Later, Julian told Sam that he'd made peace with Lucas, who had no problem with Julian being in his and Wiley's lives. "You're my biological father, that's it," Sam stated. Julian replied that he couldn't undo his mistakes, but he was trying to atone for them. He asked for a little time with her, Danny, and Scout before he left, and she finally agreed. Just then, Jason entered and shared the good news he'd learned about Shiloh. Julian hoped that Shiloh would get convicted so that Lucas and Brad could raise Wiley in peace. Alexis went back to her work, and Sam pulled Jason aside to ask what was wrong. He updated her on his encounter with a stubborn Franco. Sam suggested that Franco was better off being Drew. Jason agreed, but he doubted that Elizabeth did. He continued that Elizabeth was desperate to have the procedure reversed, but really, it was up to Franco. Sam wondered if Franco would consent to that, but Jason countered that Franco didn't even want to hear his name.

A cop led Shiloh in and put him in the cell across from Franco, who glared across the room. "Hello, Hank," he said, beckoning him closer so he could pull Shiloh's head through the bars and rip it off his shoulders. "I can't remember the last time I saw you," Shiloh commented, but Franco remembered the last time he'd seen Shiloh. He'd been writing in a journal when Shiloh had attacked him from behind and restrained him. "Delivered as promised," Shiloh had told a woman, who'd revealed herself to be Helena.

Shiloh told Franco that they'd been friends, and he'd betrayed Shiloh by threatening to turn him in. Franco clarified that they'd never been friends. "You think I'd let you send me to prison?" Shiloh asked, but Franco observed that Shiloh had ended up there, anyway. Shiloh wondered if Tex had told Drew where he'd hidden the money, but Franco refused to tell Shiloh. Franco remembered accusing Shiloh of treason, but Shiloh had knocked him out. Shiloh remembered how Helena had called in a few of her henchmen to make sure that Drew was still alive, which he was. She'd had one of the men pay Shiloh, who'd wondered what she was going to do with Drew. She'd replied that if she'd told him, she would have had to kill him. Franco vowed to make Shiloh pay for all he'd done, and he added that Shiloh would never know where the money was. Shiloh offered to exchange the location of the money for the name of Helena's male accomplice.

Helena had warned Shiloh to stay "silent and loyal," and she'd dismissed him. He'd walked away but peered around the corner to keep watch. "There you are," Helena had said when someone else had shown up. She'd called her accomplice's help "invaluable." Shiloh offered the name to Franco, but Franco replied, "Hard pass." He figured that he would take the money back to Afghanistan and use it for humanitarian aid. Shiloh thought it would be "better spent for information that could change your life."

8/20 At the warehouse, Sonny finished instructing an employee about shipments as Sonny entered to check on his "new hire." They talked about Franco until Dev ran in, late, and Sonny lectured him about being on time. He breathlessly asked what Sonny needed help with, and Sonny instructed him to move the coffee beans. Jason told Dev to get his assignment from the foreman, so Dev ran off. Sonny asked Jason to keep an eye on Dev, and he left. Later, Jason was talking to an employee about a cash deposit when they heard a loud thud from outside the office. Jason scolded Dev for not taking his time and for attempting shortcuts. He instructed Dev to put in the work in order to earn respect, as he hadn't yet done much to prove himself. The employee returned to Jason and informed him that the cash for the deposit was missing.

8/21 At the Corinthos Coffee warehouse, Dev loaded heavy bags of coffee beans onto storage shelves while Jason talked to the warehouse manager about the missing deposit. Jason wondered if the money had been misplaced, but Barry doubted it. However, Barry expressed concern about Dev because Barry had noticed Dev eavesdropping earlier when Barry and Jason had discussed the money. Jason decided to call Dev over and question the teen about the missing money. Dev immediately denied knowing anything about the money, but Jason cut Dev's cries of innocence off and suggested that they start with the truth. Jason knew that Dev had been listening in on Jason and Barry's conversation. Dev conceded that he had eavesdropped, but Dev promised that he hadn't touched the cash. Barry didn't believe Dev, but Dev accused Barry of lying and being upset that Sonny had given Dev a job. Barry was offended. "This punk has got to go," Barry warned Jason.

Barry explained that there had been issues with Dev because Dev was lazy and disorganized, and Dev had dropped several bags of coffee beans. Dev acknowledged that he had dropped a few bags of coffee beans, but Dev was adamant that he hadn't taken the money. "What money?" Sonny asked as he entered the warehouse. Dev quickly explained that Barry had accused him of stealing the bank deposit, but Dev argued that he had no reason to do something like that. Barry disagreed because Dev was a thief by Dev's own admission. Dev and Barry exchanged words until Sonny ordered both to be quiet because Sonny wanted to hear from Jason.

After Jason filled Sonny in about Barry's accusation and Dev's denial, Sonny suggested that they settle the matter by searching Dev. Jason patted Dev down then confirmed that Dev was clean. Dev's smile of satisfaction vanished when Sonny instructed Jason to check Dev's jacket. Jason returned from the office with Dev's jacket and the cash. It had been hidden in a pocket. Dev insisted that the money had been planted by Barry, but Barry was outraged. Just then, Jason reported that only $7,000 had been in Dev's pocket, which meant that $3,000 remained missing. Sonny glared at Barry. Sonny suspected that Barry had figured that Sonny wouldn't hurt a family member, so Dev wouldn't land in too much hot water, while Barry would pocket $3,000 for his troubles.

Jason's expression filled with menace as he moved close to Barry. Busted, Barry began to apologize then tried to return the $3,000, but Sonny told Barry to keep it as severance pay. Next, Sonny handed Barry the rest of the cash and advised Barry to relocate to another coast as quickly as possible. After Barry ran out, Dev's tone filled with wonder because Sonny had believed him. Sonny admitted that he had known that Dev was too smart to steal from Sonny, especially with Jason there. Sonny advised Dev not to drop any more bags then ordered him to get back to work. After Dev disappeared, Sonny instructed Jason to pay Barry a visit to make certain that Barry didn't say anything; Sonny wanted Barry to receive the message "loud and clear." "Will do," Jason promised.

8/22 At Pentonville, Peter met with Shiloh, who reminded him that he had been a witness to Peter helping Helena Cassadine with kidnapping Drew. He knew that Peter had drugged Jason for five years. He continued to call Peter by his real name, Heinrich. Peter insisted that no one would believe Shiloh, who wondered what Maxie would think about it. Shiloh made it very clear that he wanted Peter to get him out of jail, or he'd let everyone know that Peter had been Helena's "project manager." Sarcastically, Shiloh noted that people would have nothing to do with Peter if he fell from grace. Peter thought it was his word against Shiloh's, but Shiloh promised to return the favor if Peter helped him. Peter would have to trust him. Nelle was sweeping up nearby and heard Shiloh's end of the conversation. Peter slammed the phone down and called Maxie. He asked her to meet him at Metro Court.

8/23 Sam, Danny, and Jason arrived at the park for Danny's baseball practice. The boy went to join his team, and Sam laced her arm through Jason's. She told him to close his eyes and breathe in the moment. She told him they were with family, and it was peaceful. Jason replied that he was waiting for an ambush, but Sam thought it felt happy as she unpacked a picnic lunch. She added that she felt like a regular person. As Sam and Jason nibbled at lunch, Sam declared that she wasn't happy with Danny batting left-handed. Jason stopped her from going over to the coach, and he tried to explain why Danny was not batting from the right side. Sam sat back down and asked Jason to distract her. She wanted to talk about Drew, Franco, and Shiloh. Jason said that Shiloh liked power and was controlling. Sam hoped he didn't have anyone in prison to manipulate.

Monica arrived. She was thrilled to have spent some time watching Danny with his team but had to get back to the hospital. Sam checked her email and told Jason that she'd received a message from Drew. He had mentioned that he was on his way to Ethiopia to get Andre. Sam informed Jason that Drew would then return Shiloh's money to Afghanistan for some humanitarian aid. She was hopeful that Andre would be able to restore Franco's memory. Jason disclosed that Franco was not interested in returning to his old life. He had been looking for a fight with Jason but had ended up punching Chase. Franco hadn't wanted to hear about his old life or Elizabeth. Sam was aghast, but Jason told her that he could relate. When he'd woken up in the hospital, he would have fought being turned into Jason Quartermaine again. He hadn't wanted to be Jason.

8/26 At Sonny and Carly's, Sam thought the "huge gesture" of a vow renewal was sweet, while Kristina thought it was weird. Kristina did like that there was no drama, and everyone was appreciating one another. She said that she could think of another couple who could use a romantic gesture. Jason entered the house and asked Sonny about his nerves. Sonny cracked that he'd "done this before." Michael entered and informed Sonny that he'd parked in Sonny's usual spot. Sonny wondered where his car was just as Carly burst in, unable to find Josslyn or Dev.

Moments later, Josslyn and Dev entered the house, and Sonny demanded to know why Dev had taken Sonny's car without permission. Josslyn revealed that, although it wasn't a real wedding, she thought that Carly needed a bouquet, and she handed a beautiful bouquet to her mother. Bobbie and Mike entered. Sonny went out on to the terrace, and the rest of the family lined the aisle. Avery walked down the aisle, scattering petals, and then Carly walked down the aisle. Sonny thanked everyone for being there, and they began. Carly talked about how she would always love Sonny, even though it wasn't easy. She concluded that he was "it" for her "until the end." She said her vows then it was Sonny's turn. He talked about how hers was always the hand he reached for in good times and in bad. He said his vows, and Avery yelled out, "You may kiss the bride!" They shared a kiss as the family erupted in applause. They tossed petals into the air until the couple broke apart and gave out hugs.

Inside the house, Sonny and Carly cut the cake. Later, Carly prepared to toss the bouquet, but not before Sonny made sure Avery wasn't in the group ready to catch it. Kristina muttered for Carly to aim for Sam, who had planned on doing just that. Carly tossed the bouquet over her head, and everyone moved out of the way except for Bobbie, who caught the bouquet. Sonny joked that someone needed to call Scott, and Sam winked at Jason. Sam and Kristina expressed their love for Sonny and Carly, and they left.

8/27 At the Corinthos house, Carly sat with Jason and Sonny, post-wedding vows renewal, and talked about appreciating "where you are." She felt that she was lucky. They were interrupted when Chase arrived at the front door. He wanted to ask questions about Sonny's missing employee, Barry Ziegler. Sonny told him it wasn't a good time, but Chase asked to be allowed inside. Sonny updated Carly on his employee, and Chase asked if Barry had been in trouble. Jason wasn't aware of any trouble for Barry, but when Dev walked into the room, looking for Josslyn, Chase declared that he wanted to question the teen, as well. Chase explained that Barry hadn't arrived home, and he wondered if there had been any incident at the coffee warehouse. Dev replied that he didn't know of any, and everyone liked Barry. He added that the man had been in a good mood and had been planning to go on vacation, anywhere except Atlantic City, because his wife didn't like it.

Dev asked if Barry was in trouble, and Chase replied that he didn't know. Sonny walked Chase out, and Dev asked if he'd done okay. Sonny suggested that Carly go out on the terrace for fresh air, but she wanted to hear what was going on. Sonny accused Dev of being too "chatty," and Jason added that they hadn't asked Dev to lie. Dev wondered if he should have mentioned the fight that had occurred before Barry had gone missing and how Barry had tried to frame him. Sonny replied that Dev hadn't gone about protecting them in the proper way. Dev thought that Chase had been out of line for questioning them because it wasn't their fault that Barry was missing. Inside the house, Jason told Carly that Barry had seen Dev as an easy target. Carly was annoyed that Dev, only a kid, should have even been in that situation. She thought that some of Sonny's choices had not been in Dev's best interest. She assumed that Barry had relocated without his wife's knowledge. She didn't want Dev to be involved because he could be deported if he were to be investigated. Sonny returned and promised to keep an eye on Dev, who stood nearby and eavesdropped.

8/28 Jason bumped into Cameron at the hospital, and Cameron explained that he was there to talk to Franco's doctors. He explained that he'd stumbled upon the philosopher Descartes and the philosophy "I think, therefore I am." He thought that it would help Franco to start thinking that he was Franco, but then he dismissed it as a dumb idea. Jason promised to arrange a meeting for Cameron and Franco's doctors through Monica. Cameron realized that Jason had been in Franco's situation and asked many questions about it. Jason explained that his family had wanted him to be someone he wasn't, and it had taken years to form new relationships with his family members. Cameron exploded that his brothers didn't have years to wait for Franco to "figure out that they matter." Jason advised Cameron not to pressure Franco, but Cameron thought that Franco needed to "suck it up, come home, and try."

A short while later, Jason found Monica, who had a favor to ask of him. She was afraid that Franco would "bolt" before he had a chance to find out about what Drew had been like growing up. Jason admitted that "it may already be too late." Jason revealed that Drew had figured out in high school that Alan was his father after seeing a picture of Jason in the paper. Drew had assumed that he had been unwanted, which Monica disputed, and Jason assured her that he'd tried to tell Franco. Monica wanted to talk to him, but Jason advised her to let Franco be. Monica needed to reach out to Franco to let him know that Drew should have been a Quartermaine "from day one." Jason warned that she probably wouldn't get through to him the first few tries, but she vowed to keep trying so that they could learn each other's stories. Jason apologized for the way he'd treated the family and admitted that it had taken too long to see the family's perspective. "You're you, and that's all that matters," Monica assured him, and she gave him a hug.

8/30 Dream sequence: In Peter's room at Metro Court, he and Maxie lay in bed. Peter woke up slowly and flashed back to the conversation he'd had with Shiloh, who had threatened Peter if Peter didn't help him. Maxie opened her eyes and noticed that Peter was upset. He told her they needed to tell each other the whole truth, and he admitted that he was even worse than Shiloh.

9/4 Jason arrived at Elizabeth's with a back-to-school gift for Jake. Jake wasn't there, so Elizabeth invited him in to wait. Jason was sorry that she'd "caught the fallout" from Shiloh's craziness, but she believed that Franco would return. He was concerned that she was wrong, and he didn't want her to be disappointed. She laughed that her disappointment was his "dream come true." He admitted that he still didn't like Franco, but he didn't want to see Elizabeth hurting. Elizabeth vowed not to give up on Franco without a fight. Elizabeth's phone went off, and it was Epiphany telling her that Andre was at the hospital. Elizabeth excitedly said that she would be right there and hung up. She told Jason, but she realized that she couldn't leave Aiden, who was upstairs. She asked Jason to go to the hospital and tell Andre that Elizabeth would be there to talk to him as soon as Cameron returned home to look after Aiden.

Jason arrived at the hospital and asked about Andre. Epiphany revealed that she, Jordan, and Mac couldn't discuss a patient's condition with him. Jason insisted that someone had to talk to Andre, as Drew had traveled around the world to send Andre back to town. Peter got off the elevator as Jordan and Mac updated Jason on Andre's state. Epiphany yelled about HIPAA laws, but Mac insisted that Jason was helping with the investigation, "right, Jason?" Jason nodded, and Epiphany commented, "Good enough for me." She revealed that Andre had been stabbed twice in the abdomen.

Epiphany heard the monitor and ran toward Andre's room. She ran inside as Jason, Mac, and Jordan waited. Peter crept along the hallway and stood close to listen and observe. A doctor rushed into the room and injected a syringe into the tubing. She announced that Andre was stabilized. Andre opened his eyes. Jason, Mac, and Jordan gathered by the bed. Epiphany wanted them to leave, but Andre wanted them to stay. "Someone tried to kill me," Andre announced. He said that Drew had found him in Ethiopia and had filled him in on Franco. Andre had offered to go to Port Charles, although he hadn't made any promises. He'd been alone, and a driver had met him at the airport. He'd believed that Drew had arranged the transportation, so he'd gone willingly with the man. They had ended up in an alley, where the man had knifed him. Andre had managed to fight him off and drive himself to the hospital. He concluded that Drew needed to know.

9/5 Sam ran into Michael at Metro Court, and they sat at the bar. He updated her on Sasha's condition and stated that Sasha's health was the most important thing, above all else. Sam pressed him for further information, and he finally admitted that Sasha had always been secretive. He didn't know much about her past, and she'd recently told him she would tell him more, though he wouldn't like it. Michael wasn't sure he wanted to know. Sam thought it was weighing heavily on Michael, and he admitted it would be bad if Sasha had been deceiving him all along. He thought that she had probably just done something bad in her past. Sam declared that secrets always had a way of showing themselves. Michael thanked her for not mentioning Nelle, who had had lots of secrets. He didn't think Sasha was like Nelle, though, and he thought he and Sasha were good for each other.

Michael thought Sasha's secret couldn't be that bad, and he also informed Sam that Sasha was too independent for him to ride in on a white horse to save her. Sam called Michael a rescuer, and she thought that Nelle had taken advantage of him. Sasha had been honest, and honesty was the key to a healthy relationship. Michael wanted to head to the hospital to check on Sasha, and Sam announced that she was headed there, too, after receiving a text message. She suggested they go together. Sam arrived and saw Jordan and Elizabeth. Sam learned that Drew couldn't be reached, and she revealed that she still had access to his account on his private jet service. She made a quick call and spoke with someone at the service. She ended the call and announced that Drew's flight had never arrived in Afghanistan. It had disappeared and was off the radar.

9/9 Sam and Jason sat at the counter in Kelly's and talked about Drew's missing plane. Sam noted that she was unable to get any further information from the aviation company, and it had been almost 24 hours since Drew had gone missing. Jason filled her in on Andre's stabbing, and the pair realized that the two cases could be related. Sam didn't think Shiloh could be responsible. Jason received a phone call from Jordan, requesting that he and Sam meet her and Curtis at the police station.

At the police station, Sam and Jason arrived, and the four studied the map. Sam stated that the plane could be anywhere or nowhere. Sam revealed that she had been shut out of getting any information from the aviation company. Jordan confirmed that the pilot and copilot had originally checked out but had actually not existed, and they'd only been names on paper. Curtis realized the pilot was anonymous, and Jason cited that Andre's attacker had also been unknown. Jason explained that Drew had been going to Afghanistan to return money that Shiloh had stolen, and Jordan realized there were two cases after hearing the details about Drew and his retrieval of Andre. Sam pointed out that they had to be related, and Curtis suggested that someone had wanted to stop both men. Jordan announced that she hadn't spoken to Andre yet, since he'd been recovering, but she would plan to do that. Jordan received a phone call and announced that the WSB had located the wreckage of Drew's plane in the Gulf of Aden. There had been no sign of any survivors. Jordan expressed her desire to meet with Robert, and she left the room. Curtis told Sam that he thought Drew would be okay.

9/10 Jason arrived at Franco's room and was glad to see that Monica was there, as what he had to say concerned both of them. He told them about recent events concerning Drew and Andre, up to the news of Drew's plane going down. Franco recognized that it tied back to him, but Jason had no idea who was behind it. He offered to take Monica home, but she wanted to go to the hospital and call the WSB. Jason and Monica made their way to the door so that he could drive her. Franco asked Jason to let him know of any updates, and Jason agreed. Later, after dropping Monica off at her office, Jason put in a call to Franco. Franco guessed that he was probably next on the hit list, and Jason advised him to watch his back. He offered to help protect Franco if he felt like he needed it, and Franco appreciated the offer. "I was under the impression we couldn't stand each other," Franco commented. Jason answered that too many people would be hurt if Franco was dead, and he hung up. "Copy that," Franco muttered.

9/11 Sam found Elizabeth at the hospital to check on her, and they talked about Drew. Both agreed that Drew could very well be alive, and Elizabeth was grateful that Drew had given Elizabeth the chance to put her family back together. She couldn't believe that they might lose Drew, but she commented that it wouldn't be in vain. Judging from the look on Sam's face, Elizabeth knew that Sam had something to say. After some bickering, Sam blurted out that saving Franco wasn't worth Drew's life. Sam and Elizabeth continued to argue until Hayden happened upon them and wondered if there was a problem. Elizabeth explained that she'd just overreacted to something, but Sam continued to talk badly about Franco. Hayden scolded Sam until Sam started in on Hayden. Sam's phone went off, and she revealed that she had somewhere to be. When she was gone, Elizabeth told Hayden that there was always tension between her and Sam, and it was only ever a matter of time until it blew up.

Sam entered Jax's office, and Jax wanted to see how Sam was doing with the news about Drew. He informed her that Aurora was already in "disarray," but he had a solution that he would need her help with. He wanted to protect Scout's birthright and have things ready for Drew when he returned home, so he proposed that Sam run Drew's half of Aurora. Sam appreciated him caring about Scout and the company, but she needed to learn more about Drew's situation before she could give Jax an answer. He advised her to take her time, and he assured her that he would always be there if she needed anything.

9/18 Sonny and Jason sat at the bar. They agreed that the same person had tried to take down Andre and had succeeded with Drew. Jason showed Sonny the police sketch of Andre's attacker, and neither man recognized him. Just then, Jason received a call from Shiloh, who said he had information for Jason. Jason and Sonny grabbed a table, and Jason disclosed that Shiloh had mentioned an upcoming article in the Invader about him that had been "green-lit" by Peter. Shiloh had also mentioned that he was looking forward to seeing Sam at his trial. The men tried to figure out what Shiloh had meant with the comment about Peter. Jason believed that Shiloh had been trying to tell him something. They commented that everyone thought that Peter was a "good guy," but Sonny wondered about Peter's connection to Shiloh. He spotted Maxie and Lulu and wondered if they could help answer some questions.

Jason asked about Carly, and Sonny replied that she was worried about Josslyn and the "thing" with Dev. Jason thought that Sonny should be able to help Dev without adopting him, and Sonny admitted that Carly had said the same thing. Jason thought it would be too much energy expended with a new baby on the way. Jason and Sonny made their way over to Maxie and Lulu. Jason noted that he had attempted to reach Peter without success, and he was curious about the Shiloh article that would be in the paper. Maxie clarified that Peter was a good guy and would not let Shiloh "get off easy." Jason disclosed that he had received a phone call from Shiloh, who had dropped Peter's name. Jason and Sonny returned to their own table, and Maxie thought the encounter was strange. Lulu disagreed and thought they had only wanted to make sure that the article was real. Maxie wondered why they'd been talking about Peter and Shiloh Jason decided it was time to involve Spinelli.

Shiloh was surprised when Peter paid him a visit at Pentonville. Shiloh confessed that he'd called Jason earlier and mentioned Peter's name. Peter was angry, and Shiloh admitted he'd put Peter on Jason's radar. He accused Peter of dragging his feet, because Shiloh had expected to get out of prison. Peter met the unknown man at the pier again and promised he would get the rest of his money plus a bonus because he had new plans. He wanted the man to take care of David Henry Archer.

9/19 Outside the courtroom, Spinelli erred on the side of trusting Maxie's judgement on Peter, but Jason reminded him that Maxie had been wrong before. He wanted to see if there was a connection between Peter and Shiloh. A cop named Peters walked out of the courtroom, and Peter moved to follow. Jason appeared in front of him. Peter walked around Jason, and Spinelli muttered, "Curious."

9/20 At the courthouse, it was Shiloh's turn to take the stand. His attorney questioned him, and he denied that Dawn of Day was a cult where he was the leader. He insisted that everyone was equal and that it was a "self-help" organization where charity work was done. He continued that individuals were always helped first, like Kristina and Sam, although Sam had had ulterior motives. Shiloh continued to talk about Sam's past with his father. He mentioned that Sam had wiped out the family savings. The prosecutor jumped up more than once to object to Shiloh's comments. Shiloh insisted that he'd forgiven Sam but that Sam hadn't believed him. The prosecutor noted that everyone really wasn't equal at DOD, and she asked about the Trust. Shiloh was evasive as he was asked whether women had had to have sex with him and endure tattoos being drawn. She asked how many women he'd drugged and initiated. There were flashbacks to Kristina, Sam, and Willow in various compromising situations. Shiloh's attorney objected. Court was finally adjourned for the day, and Shiloh was cuffed and led out of the courtroom.

At the courthouse, the guard told Peter that things were being handled. He got off the phone and informed his partner that the warden wanted both men to guard Shiloh instead of only one of them. The trio walked out of the nearest door. Sam and Jason approached Robert, who was certain the jury would see through Shiloh. He added that everything had to be done legally, and he didn't want things handled in Jason's "personal brand." He didn't want any retaliation, and if something happened, he would know where to start asking questions. He left. Jason was aware that Robert believed Jason wanted Shiloh dead and could get to him. Jason promised to deal with Shiloh if the system failed. Just then, Chase, who had been on the phone nearby, shouted. He ran over and announced that Shiloh was gone. He added that the van had never made it back to Pentonville.

Bobbie was stopped in her car, and a police officer approached and tapped on her window. It was Shiloh, and he told her there was a problem.

9/23 At the courthouse, Sam and Jason wondered how Shiloh could have gotten away. Chase approached and assured them that there were roadblocks set up and a police presence at all the local train and bus station. He continued that the transport van had been found abandoned not far from Pentonville, with no trace of Shiloh or the guards. He wondered if Dawn of Day members had hijacked the van, but Jason suggested that it had been an inside job. Chase's phone rang, and he told the caller that he was on his way. When he hung up, he relayed to Sam and Jason that one of the guards had been found unconscious with a blow to the head. Chase was going to interview the guard and promised to keep them updated. When he was gone, Jason figured that Shiloh would "lay low" and wait for a boat to Canada. He was going to try to trail Shiloh, and he suggested that Sam go to the hospital and try to listen in on Chase's interview. Jason realized that his phone battery was almost dead, so they switched phones, since Sam's had more charge. They shared a kiss and left.

Shiloh, disguised as a cop, shined a flashlight in Bobbie's face and ordered her to step out of the car. He took his sunglasses off, and Bobbie gasped, "Oh, my God, it's you!" She promised not to tell anyone that she'd seen him if he let her go. He wanted to "borrow" her car, but she demanded that he leave "us" alone. She tried to cover that she was talking about her family, but he shined his flashlight in the backseat and saw Wiley. She offered him all the money she had, but he replied that she'd given him something "more precious" than money. Minutes later, Shiloh was gone, and Bobbie screamed for help until she grew dizzy and passed out. A few minutes later, a car pulled up to Bobbie, and Jason burst from the car and kneeled next to her. A short while later, Jason had gotten Bobbie to the hospital, and he told the doctor about how he'd found Bobbie, and about her preexisting conditions. A few minutes later, the doctor assured Jason that Bobbie would be all right after suffering a blood sugar spike and dehydration. Jason went in to talk to Bobbie, and she told him what had happened. Lucas entered to visit Bobbie, and she cried that Wiley had been in the car when Shiloh had taken it.

Sam had just arrived at the hospital when her phone went off, and she was confused to answer the call to Dev. Dev whispered back that he needed Jason, and he informed her that he was at the Haunted Star. Sam fired questions at Dev, but she heard a thud and silence. On the Haunted Star, Dev lay unconscious on the floor as a smirking Shiloh stood over him. Sam entered the Haunted Star calling out for Dev, only to find him sprawled out on the floor. "Nice of you to join," Shiloh said as he emerged. Sam checked on Dev and found that he was alive. Shiloh commented that he hadn't wanted to hurt Dev, but Dev had been in the wrong place at the wrong time.

He thought it was fate that Dev's call had led Sam there, where Jason couldn't get between them again. She wanted to get Dev to the hospital, but Shiloh was certain that Dev would be all right. She snapped that he knew nothing about kids and that giving himself up would be the best option. Sam promised that if Shiloh got help for Dev, she would speak in his favor. He refused her offer, not wanting to be conned again. He picked up Wiley from behind the bar and told Sam that he had little experience with kids, but he was willing to learn. He added that Sam could help teach him.

Peter’s Nightmare: Maxie assured him there was no comparison, and he had been an innocent victim and a good person. Peter was exasperated and told her he needed to talk. He revealed that he had been the one responsible for everything that had happened to Jason and Drew. Maxie reminded him that Helena Cassadine and Faison had been the ones to blame, and Peter had kept Jason alive. Peter disagreed. Peter disclosed that he had hidden Jason in order to use him, and he'd been on the project from the beginning. He'd planned Drew's abduction with Helena. Maxie refused to believe him as Peter sniffled and continued to talk. He added that he'd been in Afghanistan with Helena when Shiloh had delivered Drew to her. He wasn't innocent and was as guilty as the others. A distraught Maxie voiced how she'd let Peter into her life and heart as well as James's life. She loved Peter. He replied that he loved her, too, and was sorry. He whimpered that he'd helped to destroy the lives of Jason, Drew, and Franco. Shiloh had blackmailed him. Maxie announced that she would take care of Shiloh, but just then, Jason burst through the door with a gun. Jason shot Peter, who woke up with a gasp. He told Maxie that he'd had a bad dream about losing her, and she promised she wasn't going anywhere. Peter claimed to have received a message about a business meeting, and he would have to end their day earlier than planned. "It's not the end of the world, right?" Maxie asked.

Kristina was suspicious of Sam's invitation to meet for breakfast at Metro Court and realized that Sam was trying to keep her busy during Shiloh's hearing. Kristina acknowledged that she couldn't wait to testify for the prosecution, and she'd been practicing her boxing skills in order to protect herself should the need arise. Kristina admitted that she hated herself for accepting Shiloh's "BS" but added that he no longer had any power over her.

Jason encountered Franco at Oscar's Meadow. Franco wasn't too happy to see "my father's favorite son," and he noted that he was visiting the son he hadn't known. Franco noted that he was glad he was no longer Franco with the terrible past, and he thought he'd done the world a favor. Jason replied that many of the people he loved felt different about it, and he didn't enjoy watching them hurt. Jason assured Franco that it was not only Elizabeth who was hurting but Monica who hadn't known Drew had even existed and had questions. Franco declared that he couldn't be the man Elizabeth wanted, and he would leave town as soon as his ankle monitor was removed. He would go where his identity wouldn't be questioned. Jason noted that everything Franco had was Franco's and not Drew's, but Franco insisted he had nothing. Jason stated that Franco had made promises to Elizabeth, and he wondered if Franco would break those promises. Jason walked off.

Back at Metro Court, Kristina and Sam joked and argued about the toss of the bridal bouquet at Carly's marriage renewal. Jason arrived, and Kristina teased the couple about it. The trio sat in a booth, and Kristina confessed that she was envious of Sam and Jason, but Sam was certain that Kristina would be happy one day. Kristina admitted that she'd been working on herself. She had to leave but related that she was happy that Shiloh would be going to Pentonville.

After Kristina had gone, Jason noted that she was really back to being herself. Sam couldn't believe that she didn't have to worry about her sister any longer. Jason mentioned that he'd run into Franco at Oscar's Meadow, and Franco was determined to leave town. Jason admitted that he'd almost offered money but had tried to get through to Franco for Elizabeth's sake instead. Jason didn't think anyone would be able to convince Franco to stay.
