Jason & Sam #16  March 28 - May 25, 2007 - 8 hr original edit

Jason finds Elizabeth and Cameron at the park. Elizabeth had just come from Kelly's where she invited Lulu to come with her and Cameron to the park, but Lulu tells her she has studying to do. Elizabeth asks why she's suddenly avoiding her. Lulu tells her that it just seems strange how she was so against ever getting back together with her brother and then suddenly she marries him again. Lucky comes in and unknowingly splits up the argument by sitting down and talking to the two ladies. Later, when Jason runs into Elizabeth and Cameron at the park, he offers to push Cameron on the swings. Elizabeth watches the two and starts crying softly. Jason asks her what's wrong and she tells him that he is a natural father and it must be hard for him to not be a part of his baby's life. He asks her if she's changed her mind about telling the truth?

Jason is bewildered when Amelia and a whole crew come waltzing into the apartment with clothes for Sam. She starts to make her over and mentions wanting to do an "at home" segment with Jason and Sam. The audience will want to know the man behind the woman, she says. Sam has her first "diva" moment and tells Amelia that Jason is not a part of this at all. Jason decides to take that moment and leave. Amelia continues to push Sam by mentioning all the different segments she wants her to do, including one on self-defense. She says it's a shame they can't tell the viewers to just shoot the attacker's head off with a shot gun, which seems to bother Sam. Sam starts to remember her past and asks to step outside to get some fresh air.

Sam and Jason had tried to have an intimate moment alone in their apartment but Amelia shows up unexpectedly at their apartment to talk to Sam. Jason tells her it is okay because he has to go to work anyway and leaves them to talk. Amelia tells Sam that she came over to give her some tips on handling the press conference at the hotel later. They get on the subject of Jason again. Sam tells her that she and Jason were just friends at first for a long time before falling in love. Amelia makes a comment about her being financially supported by Jason and that she wouldn't have had to get a job at the hotel. Sam tells her that she never went after Jason for his money. Amelia quickly apologizes if she insinuated otherwise but she said it to actually rattle Sam. Amelia tells her she looked up Jason and knows about what kind of work he is in. Sam tells her it isn't true and that Jason is in the coffee import business. Later, Sam handles the press very well at the hotel during the press conference. Amelia is handed a picture of a woman named Susan Curtis who looks just like Sam by her assistant. Amelia knows that it is one of Sam's aliases from her past.

Spinelli heads over to talk to Jason at the coffee shop office. He starts talking to Jason before Milo even lets him in the office to see him. Jason tells Milo to let him in and that it is okay. Spinelli starts talking in his usual weird language and Jason gets frustrated with him trying to figure out what he wants from him. Spinelli tells Jason that he came to see him because Jason is a "chick magnet" and thought he could give him advice about how to talk to women. Jason tells him to listen and explains that women like to talk a lot and that if he just listens to Lulu even if he doesn't understand where she is coming from will win him points. Jason shows up to meet Skye on the docks and asks her what she wants him for. She brings up that they are both mourning Alan and that she needs him to help her.

Jason told Skye he doesn't blame her for Alan's death, but would not offer her or Lorenzo protection from Sonny. "You heartless bastard," she replied. Jason mentioned that if she continues to interfere on Alcazar's behalf, she will be dealt with. Jason enter Carly's abandoned club ("The Cellar" in the basement of Kelly's) and pulled a gun on Spinelli when the nerd surprised him. Spinelli pulled a Matrix-like move which led a puzzled Jason to ask if it was a "spasm." He warned his quirky protegé never to sneak up on him. Spinelli launched into a spiel about what a great team they are, however Jason said he doesn't want him to get hurt and he wants him to forget that he ever saw the club. Later, Jason met with Sonny and suggested they use the abandoned site in their business dealings, as no one would think to check it out. Sonny was worried, both about the ambush possibilities and dragging Carly into the business. Jason brought Sonny to the abandoned Cellar club and suggested they use the place to hide real "product" while decoying the cops. Sonny recalled dancing with Carly there and pointed out she still owns it, and cannot be involved. Sam signed an autograph for a fan. Amelia suggested that in the opening segment of Sam's show she be attacked as lesson on home invasion. Sam wanted to keep her home life and show life separate. Jason called Sam to ask her to send Amelia. Sonny warned Jason they don't need the publicity/distraction of Sam being on TV.

Sam has a nightmare where she is struggling with someone. She wakes up screaming, and brushes it off to Jason as a dream. She was waiting up for him so that she could apologize for the press showing up at the coffee shop. She admits her fears about the new TV show. Sam walks into the studio looking exhausted. Amelia is not happy with her appearance and instructs the stylist to fix her up. As the stylist puts his hands around Sam's neck to pull back her hair, she flashes back to a being choked by the man from the picture. She tells the stylist to get his hands off her. Later, Sam poses for pictures while the "research" Amelia requested has arrived. It is a picture of Susan Curtis, who looks just like Sam. She looks at the two pictures-one of Angela and one of Susan.

Later, Carly visits Jason at his place to ask for a favor. She asks him to tell Sonny to back off. When Jason is hesitant, she asks him if there was ever anything that Jason wanted to tell Sam but did not for fear of hurting her? They argue some , and Jason tells her that if she wants to end it with Sonny she will have to do it herself. On the docks, Jason sees Liz and notices she is upset. Liz tells him about the injured cop, and that Lucky put himself in the line of fire. She now thinks she is a hypocrite since Lucky's job is just as dangerous as Jason's. She tells Jason she loves Lucky but is worried about his job. She feels the baby kicking, and lets Jason feel her stomach. She tells him about the utltra-sound and will get him a copy. He declines and says that as long as she and the baby are happy, he's okay. Lucky observes Jason touching her stomach.

Lucky and Lulu walk in on Jason feeling Elizabeth's baby kick but doesn't seem bothered by it. After Lulu and Jason leave, Lucky tells Liz that he knows what is going on. She is worried the job will be too stressful on him and he will turn back to drugs. Liz tells him that she trusts him, but she does still worry about the stress of the job. Back at the penthouse, Lulu tells Jason that he needs to talk to someone to get an objective opinion about staying out of his child's life. He asks who she thinks he should go to and she tells him he should talk to Carly. He absolutely refuses saying that Carly will harass Liz. Lulu points out that Carly was the only one who she could talk to when she was contemplating having the abortion. After Lulu leaves, there is a knock at the door. When Jason opens the door, he is handed a package. It is from Liz. She sent him an ultrasound photo and tells him she thinks it might help. Jason is obviously affected by the picture and goes to hide it in a box in the closet. Carly walks in and Jason has to hide the box quickly, but Carly sees it anyway.

Carly asks Jason what is in the box he left near the coffee table? Jason takes the box from her and puts it away inside the closet at his place. He tells her that he keeps pictures of Michael, Morgan, and her inside the box and that is it. Carly asks him why he was looking through them. Jason tells her that he remembered the time when Michael was a baby and he raised him and that he thought about how A.J. must have felt not being able to be a father to him and how he feels bad about that. Carly tells him he shouldn't feel bad about what happened with A.J. since it wasn't his fault since he was helping her keep her son. She also tells him that it isn't his fault that he didn't get close to Alan after his accident and that Alan was not able to accept Jason for who he now was. Carly talks to Jason about why she came over. She tells him about her fight with Jax about Skye's presence at the hotel and how he defended Skye. Jason tells her that he can't help her with this decision and that she managed to become successful on her own and she will be able to make a decision about Jax and Sonny on her own eventually. Carly tells him he helped her even if he didn't think he did and leaves.

Amelia continues to investigate Sam's past, while still works on setting Sam up for a big fall. She tells Sam that she needs to work tonight. When Sam hesitates about spending time away from Jason, Amelia tells her that she's going to have to make sacrifices. Sam heads to New York City with Amelia in a limo. Sam is nervous about what kind of impression she will make with the network executives and the press at the party. Amelia tries to reassure her that she will be great and gives her tips about pretending she is playing a role like an actress. Amelia asks her if she ever pretending to be someone she wasn't before. Sam admits she has in the past but that she rather be home right now with her boyfriend eating dinner than be there. Jason takes out the picture of the sonogram Elizabeth sent him and puts it in the fireplace and sets it on fire to get rid of it just as Sam comes home with a bag of food for them. Jason seems very preoccupied about it while Sam goes on and on about her evening at the party. Sam tells him she couldn't wait to come home to him and spend time with him even if she had fun at the party. Meanwhile, Amelia gets another photograph of Sam dressed as one of her other aliases from her assistant. Amelia tells him to hold on to the information and photos and keep them in a safe place for now. Her assistant asks her why she is keeping the information a secret. Amelia tells him that she plans to build up Sam's image on television and let everyone watch as she tears her down on television later.

Sam knows something is up with Jason and asks him what is going on? He does admit that something is wrong but tells her that he doesn't know how to say it. She tells him to try. Later, Jason goes to the hospital and sees Lucky and Elizabeth together. He goes back to his office and sits in the dark to think. Spinelli comes in and tells him he should rethink his decision to not be a part of his baby's life. He tells him that he thinks of Jason as the older brother he never had and it tears him up to see Jason hurting. Jason would be the best dad and the child would miss out on a lot. The child would eventually find out and would be devastated. Suddenly, Lulu walks in and tells them that Lucky must never find out the truth. Sam is also involved in a conflicted situation by trying to balance her new life in the spotlight with her private life with Jason. Amelia is trying to convince her to go out on tour to promote the new show. They decide to look at some of the photos that were taken to see which "face" they want to show the public. As Sam grabs the portfolio and leaves, a picture falls out and Amelia is stunned.

Amelia asked Sam if she planned on getting pregnant? Sam admitted that she can't have kids. Amelia feigned sympathy, then told Sam to savor every day and left. Amelia phoned her P.I. with Sam's news. On their way to the Metro Court restaurant to meet their respective partners, Lucky and Sam got trapped in an elevator. They started talking about Jason and Liz, when Sam asked Lucky if seeing them together "after last summer" ever bothered him. Huh? he thought. While waiting for Sam and Lucky, Elizabeth and Jason talk in the Metro Court lobby. She tells Jason not to destroy her family with Lucky by divulging the baby's true paternity. He tells her that sending him pictures of the UltraSound is well-meaning, it is only a reminder of what he will not have. Sam admits to Lucky that she was jealous of Elizabeth. She always wanted a family with Jason, but now knows that a baby doesn't solve every problem. After dinner, Sam comes home to find an envelope with her name on it. Inside is a picture of her from an earlier time. This makes her flash back to a struggle with the man seen in the pictures. Spinelli is at the penthouse, and she talks about the baby she lost. She is sad, but realizes she can still have a pretty good life.

Sam is upset when her show's set resembles a room from her past. She explains to Amelia how familiar it looks, and Amelia pretends to be surprised. Sam asks to take a break. As one of the workers is trying to turn on a lamp on the set, Amelia helps out and explains the quirk about how to turn the lamp on. When pressed about how she knew how to turn the lamp on, Amelia says her father used to have a lamp just like it. Reporters descend on anyone in Port Charles who knows Sam. As Carly and the boys try to leave their house, the reporters ask Carly how she feels about her husband buying his mistress a career. Carly goes back inside and calls Sonny. She tells him he needs to take care of the situation. Both Lulu and Spinelli pick Jason to vent their troubles to. Lulu comes to talk to him prior to her date with Dillon. She's not looking forward to the date, because she just doesn't feel like being romantic and falling in love. After she goes to meet up with Dillon, Spinelli reveals his problems about his love life and Lulu. When Jason leaves, Spinelli decides to become a daredevil and puts Jason's leather jacket on and takes his bike for a spin. When he wrecks the bike, he calls Lulu and interrupts her date with Dillon.

Jason meets Sam at Kelly's. He tells her that he found this inn near the Canadian Border that serves great food and that the owner's are wonderful people, hoping they can leave tonight. Sam feels bad because she forgot to call him to tell him she has to shoot some footage for the show tonight. Jason tries to be very understanding but seems very disappointed. Suddenly, the press shows up inside Kelly's and starts throwing questions and innuendos at Jason and Sam. Mike comes out of the kitchen with a baseball bat to throws them out of the place. Sam feels terrible about how her new celebrity status is causing so many problems for Jason and everyone. She keeps apologizing over and over again to Mike and Jason. Jason tells her to stop apologizing for what happened. Elizabeth and Lucky show up at Kelly's and Jason tries to hide his reaction to seeing Elizabeth carrying his baby. Elizabeth and Lucky approach them and comment about the press outside. Sam feels overwhelmed by the press and wishes they would leave Jason and her alone with their accusations. Elizabeth tells Sam that she will be a perfect host for the show because she is an everyday hero herself and helped her in the hotel during the hostage crisis. Sam thanks her for her kind words. Sam heads off for the hotel to meet with Amelia.

Back at the hotel, Sam complains to Amelia about the press and wonders if she should get a restraining order against them to leave her alone. Amelia tells her not to since they need the press to help promote the show and her. Sam is ambivalent about hosting the show since it is causing so many problems for everyone around her including Jason. Amelia snaps at her about her indecision to be in the TV program and warns her to make up her mind once and for all since this will change her life forever if she does do the show. Sam makes up her mind and decides to go ahead and do the show after all. She poses for the photographer while Amelia watches waiting to set her up eventually to take a big fall. Maxie goes to see Jason at the coffee shop office. She asks him to give Logan a job working for him and promises to pay him back in return by stealing confidential police information from her father for him to help him. Lulu shows up suddenly in his office and tells him not to trust a word that Maxie tells him since she is a liar and can't be trusted. Maxie is disgusted by Lulu's interference and tells her off. Jason tells Maxie that there is nothing he can do for her and dismisses her. Lulu tells him she came by because she is concerned about him being able to keep the secret after she saw how he looked at Elizabeth at Kelly's. Jason tells her that he didn't mean for them to run into each other and he will be more careful on how he reacts to her from now on. He asks her what she knows about Spinelli putting a dent in his motorcycle? Lulu pretends she doesn't know what he is talking about.

The press shows up again this time to harass Sonny with questions about his past affair with Sam and they bring up the "mistress" word again. Milo and Mike get the press to leave Kelly's again. Michael asks Sonny about Sam being his mistress and tells him that Jax told him what the word means now. Sonny refuses to get into it with Michael there at Kelly's and promises to talk to him about it later. He orders Milo to bring the boys home because Leticia will be there soon to take care of them since he has business to discuss. He calls Diane, his lawyer about getting a restraining order against the press so they will leave him and Sam alone. Diane mentions to him that Jason told her not to do that because Sam needs the exposure to promote her new show. Sonny calls Jason and asks him to meet him down at the Cellar under Kelly's because they have a serious problem. Alcazar meets with one of his men and makes final plans to have Sonny and Jason ambushed at their new meeting place under Kelly's Diner and arranges for his men to cover all exits so they can shoot and kill both of them without them being able to get out of there alive. Jason shows up at the Cellar to meet with Sonny. Sonny tells Jason about his displeasure with the press hounding him about his past affair with Sam and that it is interfering in their business. He tells Jason that either Sam will have to quit this show or he will get a restraining order to keep the press away from them all. As they are talking gunshots are fired at them from inside. Jason and Sonny take their weapons out and start firing back at Alcazar's men.

Jason and Sonny suddenly had to dodge a barrage of bullets as shooters targeted the Cellar. The guys fought back as upstairs, Lulu, Logan, Cooper and Maxie, laid low. Downstairs, Jason did this cool maneuver where he slithered across the floor under tables to get away. Sonny managed to shoot a couple of thugs, but ended up getting shot in the head. Maxie called for help, a worried Spinelli came to warn them. The thugs grabbed Maxie, but Logan and Coop helped save her. Spinelli was pleased to see that Jason was alive. Jason asked Spinelli to go GH with Sonny. He is instructed to cover if Sonny says anything that might be incriminating while he is out of it. Spinelli asks how he can do that? Jason tells him to do his Spinelli babble. Jason and Mac tried to get to the bottom of the shootout. At the hospital, the doctors frantically tried to tend to the shootout victims. When an incoherent Sonny orders a retalliation hit, Spinelli began rapping (seriously!) for the doctors. "Do you have a head injury?" asked Epiphany. Robin and Patrick try to get them out of there, Spinelli taking his duty seriously, refuses to leave. They threathen to have security remove him. Later, Spinelli bugged Robin and Patrick for information on Sonny. Patrick wondered if the teen belonged in the psych ward.

Sam, looking gorgeous in a red gown, posed for a photo shoot. She then posed in a turquoise top. She was flattered when the crew complimented her on her good work. She thanked Amelia for helping her out. Sam was horrified when a news reporter soon arrived to question her about Jason's involvement in the shootout. Elizabeth went into labor. A concerned Lucky sat by Elizabeth's bedside in the hospital. She assured him that she and the baby were okay and she didn't need him to wait there. Lucky went to see if he could help Mac with the investigation, but Mac sent him back to be with his wife. Upon finding out the Liz was in the hospital, Spinelli frantically mentioned to Sam that someone has to tell "him," meaning Jason. Sam wondered who he was talking about; he quickly said he meant Lucky. Despite the shootout, Amelia was anxious for Sam to get back to work on the TV show. When he spied Sam and Jason together, Spinelli cryptically informed Jason that Liz went into labor. Jason went to see Patrick, who told him that Sonny had a concussion. Sam and Jason discuss Sonny and Amelia informs Sam that she needs to return to work. Jason talks her into leaving, saying that he will be fine. Back at the Metro Court during another photo shoot, reporters arrive and question Sam. Amelia encourages her to use the publicity to the show's advantage, which she does. Jason visits with Sonny and tells him that Carly wants to be with Jax and he needs to let her go. On the set of Everyday Heroes, Carly storms in and tells Sam that she doesn't appreciate the press questioning her about Sonny's mistress in front of her children. Sam does not see her side of things. Carly warns her that eventually she may have to choose between her career and Jason. Later, Sam has another dream that she is struggling with the man in the picture. Jason goes to see Sonny in the hospital and asks Sonny to give up Carly. At the penthouse, Spinelli confesses to Jason that he borrowed and dented the motorcycle. Jason says he knows and that it's okay. He tells him it's just a bike, and the next time he wants to use it to ask first. The Jackal is grateful, and tells him he would've made a great dad.

Jason shows up at the television studio to see Sam before she airs her first show. He almost sees the pictures that Amelia had dug up of Sam under her past aliases. Amelia quickly shuts the folder with the pictures when Jason comes up behind her quietly and asks her if those are the pictures of Sam's photo shoot. Amelia covers quickly and changes the subject. Sam is happy to see him there but their moment is interrupted when a reporter from Port Charles shows up with a tape recorder and asks Jason some question about his business with Sonny. Amelia gets rid of the reporter before Jason loses his cool. Jason takes off. Sam and Amelia have a quiet talk alone before she starts taping the show. Sam starts talking about how she wishes the reporters would stop digging up her past. She starts mentioning that she was pregnant with Sonny's child and lost it but Amelia knows about a lot of it already from the papers. Sam tells her this job will be good for her since she can't be a mother like she wanted. While, Sam is taping in front of the cameras, her assistant fills her in on what else he found out about Sam when she was going by the name Angela Monroe. Amelia tries to hide her disdain for Sam but the assistant catches on to how tense Amelia is talking about Bill Monroe's death. Amelia tells him that Sam killed Monroe in self-defense because she claimed he was trying to beat her to death at their home and that she probably set it all up to look like she was beaten and bloodied so she could get all his money and skip town. He asks Amelia why she cares what happened to the Monroe guy. Amelia tells him that Monroe was her father. Amelia looks up and sees that one of the light fixtures right above Sam's head is loose and is about to fall right on top of Sam. She hollers out to Sam in warning.

Elizabeth and Cameron run into Jason on the pier. Jason is concerned when he finds out how far they walked and he offers to give them a ride home. Elizabeth accepts his offer. When they get home Elizabeth asks Jason if he wants to stay for awhile and have some cookies with them and talk. Jason accepts her offer to stay and sits down and plays with Cameron. Elizabeth sees how uncomfortable it is for Jason to see her pregnant with his child and not be a part of it. She mentions it to him. Elizabeth tells Jason that the secret was supposed to be the best thing for everyone. Jason agrees but says what is most important is what's best for the baby. Elizabeth disagrees and says you matter, too. She can tell that he's no longer ok with this decision. Jason says he was ok with it but asks if she changed her mind. She says, "You saved my child, you saved my heart, but every time I see you I see the sacrifice you are making for me and it only makes me love you more." Jason is surprised. She says she knows it is crazy because they both love other people. Jason asks why he can't be a part of the baby's life if she loves him. Liz tells him that they would never work. Each time they try to get together, Liz pushes away. She can't deal with the danger he is a part of every day, and she doesn't want him to change for her or the baby. Jason tells her not to feel guilty and leaves with both of them crying. Later, Lucky comes home and kisses Liz on the cheek. He apologizes for not being able to pick up the big toy and asks how she got it home. She tells him that they ran into Jason who helped. He wants to know why they're always running into Jason. Elizabeth tells him that she and Cameron took the Elm St. Pier home and Jason happened to be there.

A light falls from ceiling and just misses Sam's head. Amelia tells her assistant she's Bill Monroe's daughter. When she finds out the light was loosened on purpose, she tells her administrator to fire the one responsible for the light falling. Sam says as soon as everything is over she wants to spend time with Jason to chill with the man she loves. Lorenzo's thugs arrive at Sam's studio and tell her to give Jason a message. They draw their weapons and when Jason arrives he is told to drop his weapon. Sonny meets up with Jason and asks him why he has been so distracted lately. He says he has been distracted since Alan's death. Jason tells him he has been thinking a lot about fathers and sons. Jason always believed if you are not biologically related it doesn't matter if you are loved. Look at Michael. Sonny is his father in every sense of the word. Jason never realized what it must feel like for a father to be shut out of his kid's life. Sonny responds that he is about to find out because Carly is marrying Jax next Friday. Later, Spinelli and Jason meet up. Spinelli wants to know why they have to bust into Lorenzo's house, especially since a baby is there. Jason tells him he doesn't have to do it, if he doesn't want to. They share an emotional moment, much to Jason's dismay. Spinelli tells him he doesn't have to go through this alone and should tell Sam about the baby and leaves.

Jason and Sam battle the gunmen at the studio. Sam shoots and kills one of them. The police arrive and Lucky questions Jason while Detective Cruz questions Amelia. Amelia calls Mayor Floyd down to the studio and blackmails him into keeping the shooting out of the press. She doesn't want the bad publicity for the show. After everyone leaves and Sam is talking to Amelia, she has flashbacks and remembers shooting Bill Monroe. When Jason arrives at the coffeehouse, Sonny tells him he has finally decided to let Carly go and Jason reassures him that it is for the best. After Jason leaves, Sonny reminiscences about his relationship with Carly. Sam apologizes to Amelia for the shooting incident. Amelia accepts the apology, but tells her that Jason is clearly a liability to her career and that she should leave him. Sam tells her that if forced to make a decision, she will choose Jason every time. Later, Amelia looks at a picture of Angela and Bill Monroe while the show is being recorded.

Carly has a total melt down because she can't find Jason. She tells Spinelli and Lulu that she is going to have to postpone her wedding to Jax if Jason isn't around. Carly rants at Spinelli and Lulu, telling them that Sonny tricked Jason to take off to ruin her wedding. At Carly and Jax's wedding rehearsal, Spinelli decides to show up and stand in for Jason to walk Carly down the aisle. Carly is very upset and says she doesn't need Jason here anymore, but Lulu convinces her otherwise. Spinelli is happy that his efforts to impersonate Jason (complete with Jason's clothing and slicked back hair) paid off and tells them all that Jason will be there for the actual wedding. Later at the penthouse, Spinelli was relieved that Stone Cold returned. Spinelli was wearing Jason's tux and had the slicked back ‘do, and explained how he filled in for Jason at the rehearsal. Jason felt bad about missing it. Then, Spinelli brought up the whole baby thing again. As Carly fretted on her wedding day, Jason arrived and Carly burst into tears. Was she doing the right thing? she wondered. Carly calmed and she and Jason shared a laugh as he slipped her garter up her leg. They then left for Rice Manor. Craig lurked outside the site, watching his brother and mother through the window. Carly and Jason arrived, as did Sonny, just as they were about to walk down the aisle. Alexis asks her where she's been and then tells her to start down the aisle. As Carly and Jason are about to walk, Sonny shows up. He walks past them and sits down. Alexis is worried something is going to happen, but Jax tells her not to worry. Carly looks at Jason and he tells her she can do this. She reiterates the fact that she does want to marry Jax, so they start down the aisle. As the priest talks, the citizens of Port Charles look at their loved ones during the passionate speech. When the priest asks if anyone objects, everyone holds their breath expecting Sonny to speak up however he keeps silent. Jax and Carly are in the middle of giving their own vows that they have written for each other. Jax tells Carly that she gave him strength and loyalty. She is a wonderful mother and he is proud to be a part of her life. He promises he will stand by her through everything and love her with all he has. Carly then takes her turn and recites a poem. She says those words never meant much until she met him. She feels safe with him, free to make mistakes, and knows that when they are together anything is possible. They exchange rings and are pronounced man and wife.

At the reception, Alexis and Jason discuss who will announce Jax and Carly. Lulu and Spinelli watching Jax and Carly dance. Spinelli daydreams about dancing with Lulu at their wedding, but it brought out of the daze when clapping starts. Sam and Alexis sit down together and talk about Sam's new show. Sam thinks she is good at hosting, but Alexis is worried about the contract. Sam changes the subject and tells her mother that she looks good and hopes she is feeling better. Alexis says she is feeling better and has been getting her energy and appetite back. Jason eyes him but is cornered by Edward. Edward wants to know why Jason isn't dancing. Monica comes over to save him and tells Edward to leave Jason alone. Jason seems relieved to see Monica and takes her and Edward over to see the boys. They talk about how life is changing with Carly getting married, but Michael says he is happy for his mom. He says his mom looks beautiful, just like Monica. They get ready to cut the cake and take some pictures. Carly throws the bouquet. Lulu catches the bouquet, and her suitors jump up and down in excitement. They get ready to catch the garter and Spinelli says that whoever catches the garter gets to dance with Lulu. The garter is thrown and lands on Jason's table. Spinelli lucks out when Jason gives him the garter. Spinelli is speechless, but Jason is relieved (by the silence and the removal of the garter!).

In the lobby, Jason approaches Liz and asks how she and the baby are doing. She says they are doing well, and they talk about how the due date is approaching. They depart and Jason goes to dance with Carly, even though he doesn't want to. Carly knows she can get him to dance with her, though and he does. She thanks him for being her best friend. Meanwhile, Liz watches the two of them dance and rubs her belly while Sam watches her. Spinelli is surprised to see Sam suddenly chugging champagne. As they return to the penthouse, a tipsy Sam lets it slip to Jason that she's been married. Jax informs his delighted bride that they're headed to Fiji to begin their honeymoon.

At the office, Diane and Jason discuss Sonny. She is pleased that Carly has moved on, because she feels it's in her client's best interest. She wonders where he is, and Jason advises her to be patient. Still hurting from the night before, Sam gets ready for a taping. Brandon, one of the network producers, appears on the set. He appears annoyed that Amelia stood him up the night before. Amelia arrives on the set and asks to be alone with Sam. She demands to know what the producer asked her. Sam takes notice that Amelia is in the same clothes as the night before. Amelia explains that she was given an offer she couldn't refuse. Diane shows up on the set with a court order to stop production of the show, as it is slanderous to Sonny. Sam tells Diane that Amelia will be able to have the injunction lifted. Brandon warns Sam that she needs to get her personal life in order. Amelia goes to Sonny and threatens him if he doesn't lift the injunction. They argue at first, but then begin to kiss passionately.

Jason tells Sonny about the shooting between Alcazar's men and Logan. Sonny acknowledges that Logan is becoming a nuisance. Sonny's men drag Logan to his office. With Jason in the room, Sonny tells Logan they are grateful for his assistance but he needs to back off. Lulu runs into Sonny's office and sees Logan. Sonny tells Logan that Lulu is under his protection and he is a dead man if anything happens to her. Sonny tells Logan that he will never work for him. Later, Logan is angry at Lulu for making him look bad. Liz calls Jason as tells him that she needs to see him. Jason has been looking at ultrasounds with Spinelli's help. Jason wants to know the sex, but Liz doesn't know and it isn't in the hospital records. Spinelli gets ready to leave and reminds Jason that he needs a friend. He tells him if the baby is going to have a good life, then he needs to come forward. When Liz arrives, she tells Jason that he needs to come forward if something happens to her and the baby. Their baby could need him, especially if something like a transfusion is necessary.

Sam and Amelia talk about the injunction and Amelia tells her she won't let anything stop production. She expects Sam to do the same. Sam is worried that she will not be a success. Amelia reassures her. When Sam leaves, Amelia talks to a guy about shaking Sam up. Brandon comes by and asks if the injunction has been lifted. He doesn't want any trouble with the FCC. He hands her pictures of Sam and Bill and asks for an explanation. Amelia claims to know nothing about it. Brandon asks why the plug hasn't been pulled yet. Amelia says if the show is a hit, they will deny everything. If it flops, they will admit it to make the ratings go up. Sam comes back and asks if everything is alright. Amelia lies and tells her that Brandon has finally realized how valuable Sam really is, making Sam smile. They proceed to tape the segment and both Brandon and Amelia praise Sam. Amelia gets a call and hands the phone to Sam. It's a terrible connection and Sam asks who it is. The man on the other end (one of Amelia's hires) says he is her husband, Todd Sullivan. She tells him he must have a wrong number, but he insists that she married him and robbed him of his money and now she's going to pay. Amelia is in the background smiling.

Jason shows up to tell Sonny they need to discuss some business. Sonny says goodbye to the boys and leaves with Jason to go back to the office to talk. Back at the office, Sonny tells Jason that it is very hard for him to see Jax and Carly with his sons because he can't help but feel that Jax is taking his place but that he realizes he needs to move on and that as long as his sons are happy and Jax takes care of them he will have to live with that. Sonny tells Jason that they need to eliminate Alcazar before he becomes more of a threat to them and their families. Sonny tells Jason to be careful when he gets inside Alcazar's home and to make sure Skye isn't around when he kills him. Sam gets a call from Amelia's assistant, posing as one of Sam's former lovers, Mr. Sullivan. He demands that Sam pay him $500,000 which is the amount she stole from him years ago or he threatens to go to the police and expose her to the press. Sam panics and realizes she has to tell Amelia what happened since it affects the TV show. Amelia tells her she won't let anything happen to her or the show. One of the crew answers the phone again and tells Sam it is for her. Amelia picks up the phone instead and plays along with her assistant and tells him that she will pay him $300,000 but he must go away and never contact the police or the press. Sam is very grateful that Amelia helped her, not realizing she is being set up by that very same person. Jason and Sam cross paths as he is leaving the penthouse when she gets home. She tells him about the shoot and the injunction. She is worried the show will get between them. They will keep business and personal life separate, though. They kiss and part ways.

Jason comes to see Elizabeth at her request. She tells him that she wants him to step forward as her baby's father if something serious happens to her when she goes into labor with their baby and is left unconscious and the baby needs help. Jason agrees to do that. Liz falls asleep on the couch to take a nap. She wakes up and suddenly having a contraction. She feels something when she puts her hand toward her lower abdomen and lifts her fingers to find that they are covered in blood. She starts to become very concerned that she is hemorrhaging. She gets up and tries to leave the house to go to the hospital but she collapses instead. She lies on the floor in agony. She tries to get the phone, but there is no service. She finds her keys and tries to walk to the door but passes out. Jason goes over to Liz's house and finds her passed out on the floor. He picks her up and when she stirs, tells her they are going to the hospital. Kelly greets them at the hospital and tells Jason that she must be operated on immediately. Jason watches the surgery from the window. Just as the baby is almost out, the heart rate drops. Kelly says, "We're losing him." As Jason watches with tears in his eyes, they give oxygen to the baby and prepare the paddles for Liz.

Amelia is trying to convince Sam to leave town. She has managed to get the injunction lifted by convincing Sonny that the fastest way to get out of the spotlight is to allow her show to go on and let Sam shine. Amelia says she hopes Sam is ready because her life is about to change. Sam is hesitant and says that maybe she just wants her life with Jason. Suddenly, Sam gets a bad feeling and doesn't want to leave for Manhattan. Amelia tries to talk her into it and goes on about how Sam has to create her own life. Sam initially refuses but after much persuasion, she finally decides to go to the taping with Amelia and they leave for the airport. Kelly is able to stabilize Elizabeth, and then she is brought to a hospital room where Jason sits with her. The nurse arrives with the baby and, upon awakening, Elizabeth sees Jason holding their son. When he realizes she is awake, he hands the baby to her. When she says she is tired, Jason offers to place him back in the bassinette but Lucky arrives and wants to hold him instead. Upon hearing of the events, Lucky thanks Jason for saving Elizabeth and the baby. After hearing from Kelly about Elizabeth and the baby, Lulu goes to see them but sees Jason in the hall. As she talks to him about the baby, a signal from the monitor is heard and Lucky yells that there is something wrong with his wife. Lucky arrives at the hospital, and walks into Elizabeth's room to see Jason holding the baby. He spends some time with Elizabeth and the baby before Elizabeth slips into unconsciousness. ds Jason on the roof, and congratulates him on his new fatherhood. Jason tells him about being able to see the birth of his child, and Spinelli encourages him to claim the baby as his own. Later in the nursery, Spinelli has hacked into the system to put Jason on the list of approved visitors at the nursery. Although reluctant, Epiphany lets Jason in to hold the baby. He promises his son he will give him the best life ever.

Jason makes it known that he will not leave town for any reason right now. Spinelli arrives to see Jason, and Jason asks him how Elizabeth is. Spinelli hacks into the hospital's system and finds e-mails that say she's not doing well. Jason asks about the baby and Spinelli arranges for Jason to watch the baby on the nursery monitor. Spinelli reminds him that watching the monitor and being a dad are two completely different things. He tells him that he must come forward about being the daddy is Elizabeth dies. Jason thinks that Liz will pull through, but Spinelli reminds him that the odds are against it. Spinelli tells Jason that he needs to tell the truth. If Liz wakes up now, no one will be mad at her because they'll just be happy she's alive. Lulu runs into Jason's office. She tells Jason that he can't tell anyone that he's the baby's father. She tells Jason that Lucky is being so strong and will make a great dad. Spinelli stands up for Jason, though, but Jason tells him to leave so he and Lulu can talk. Lulu tells Jason that she doesn't want Lucky to end up hurt. Jason tells her that he doesn't want Lucky to be hurt, either, but he has to think like a father now. Lulu is furious and says she should have told the truth all along. Jason says that all he can focus on right now is Liz making it, and Lulu agrees but says that she wants Lucky to be able to keep the baby is Liz doesn't make it. Lulu tells Jason she's just trying to do the right thing. Ric interrupts them and is curious as to Jason and Lulu's connection. Lulu leaves and Ric tells Jason that he visited Liz. He wants to know why Jason is always hanging out with Lucky's wife? Ric knows that Jason is in love with Liz and that's why he slept with her. He knows that Jason can't stand Sam anymore because she slept with Ric. Jason tells Ric to get out. Just as Ric is about to leave, Spinelli's face comes on the laptop computer on the desk and he starts talking to Jason in front of the security camera in the neonatal unit where Jason's new son is sleeping to give him a report about his "progeny." Ric doesn't actually hear what is being said but notices Jason's reaction to the computer and how he shut the screen down to shut if off suddenly. Ric comes over to the desk and tries to grab the computer to see what Jason is trying to hide from him. Jason grabs the laptop out of his hands and throws it against the wall and destroys it.

Sonny walks into the office and sees the laptop sail into the air and hit the wall with a loud crash. Sonny asks Jason and Ric what is going on? Ric tells Sonny that Jason just threw the computer at him and tried to hit him. Sonny ignores that accusation. Ric has the cops come into the room and asks them to arrest Jason for attempted assault. Sonny warns Ric to back off and send the cops away right now so he can talk to Jason and him alone. Ric backs down and sends the cops away. Ric tells Sonny that he came by to warn Jason to stay away from Elizabeth at the hospital. Sonny asks Ric what business is it of his to tell Jason to stay away from Elizabeth. Ric reminds him that Elizabeth is his ex-wife and he is worried about her. Sonny reminds him that she is his ex-wife and no longer his concern. He asks Jason what is going on with Elizabeth. Jason tells him that Elizabeth had complications from giving birth to a boy and that she hasn't regained consciousness. Sonny tells Ric to leave and not drum up any false charges against Jason or he will call his attorney, Diane, and have her set up a press conference that will not make him look good. Ric agrees to leave but tells Jason to stay away from Elizabeth and reminds him she is married to Lucky and has her own family to take care of her. After Ric leaves, Sonny asks Jason why he didn't kill Alcazar like he asked him to? Jason tells him that he went to check on Elizabeth during the storm because he had a bad feeling about her and that he was right because he found her laying unconscious on the floor at her home and there was no one else around to help her get to the hospital. Sonny worries that Jason is too distracted right now to be able to do his job. Jason assures him he can do his job and he will kill Alcazar when the right opportunity presents itself.

Spinelli calls Jason and he comes to the hospital thinking something bad happened to Elizabeth. Spinelli tells him the situation with the baby and how Dr. Lee feels that it isn't good for the baby to be at the hospital much longer. Spinelli thinks Jason should step in and claim his son as his own because Lucky has tunnel vision right now with Elizabeth and can't do what is best for the baby right now. Jason is torn about what to do. He talks to Epiphany about the baby and she explains that it is important that the baby bond with his parents when it is first born or there will be emotional repercussions if it doesn't happen. Jason goes and sits with Elizabeth. He talks to her and tells her he doesn't know what to do and that she told him to step in if something happened to her and to do what is best for their son. Lucky walks in and asks what he is doing there. Jason tells him he came by to see how she is. Jason upsets Lucky when he brings up the fact that the baby needs to go home. Lucky tells him that what happens with his son is none of Jason's business. Jason surprises Lucky when he tells him it is his business and is about to tell him why. Elizabeth starts to come out of her coma and hears them arguing. Lucky thanks Jason for saving Liz and the baby, but tells him his part is over. Jason doesn't want to argue with him and seems like he is about to stake his claim as the child's father when Liz wakes up. She murmurs Jason's name and Lucky rushes over. She asks what happened and Lucky fills her in. She asks if the baby is still there and Lucky tells her that he kept the baby in the nursery against the hospital's wishes because he wanted them to leave as a family.

Jason enters and tells Epiphany that Liz is awake. She tells him that Lulu and Spinelli are with the baby and tells him to inform Spinelli to stay out of the hospital's computer system. Jason goes over to Lulu and Spinelli and tells them that Liz is awake. Lulu asks if he told Lucky the truth and he says no. She thanks him and goes to see Liz. Jason gets a call from Sonny and before he leaves Spinelli asks if he should keep the streaming video going? Jason tells him it's time to get out of the computer system. Jason goes to Sonny's place and tells him he was at the hospital checking on Liz and the baby. Sonny is curious as to why he's so invested in a child that's not his. Jason says he was just checking on them since he ended up saving them. Sonny informs Jason that Lorenzo has hidden Lila and they are going to wait to kill Lorenzo until he brings the baby back. Jason isn't sure that Skye is telling the truth and thinks they should go ahead and kill Lorenzo. Sonny says it won't take Skye long to get baby Lila back and then Skye will even help them kill Lorenzo. While this is going on, Skye talks to the nanny. She tells Lorenzo that the nanny is no place for Lila and is not a replacement for her mother. He says he is making arrangements for Lila to come home. He wants them to be a family and they hug.

Back on the plane, Sam talks about the show and her excitement is obvious. Amelia says they are on a roll and they need to keep it that way. When Sam agrees, Amelia tells her that she needs to admit that Jason is in the way. She tells her that a woman in her position can't be involved with a mobster. She says Jason is a liability. Sam tells her that Jason stuck with her through thick and thin. He is the best thing that has ever happened to her. Amelia reminds her how much better her life is now than it was four months ago. Is that what she wants to go back to? They de-board the plane and go to see Sonny and Jason. Sonny asks about the show and then tells them that Liz had the baby and is not doing well. Sam leaves to go to the hospital. Jason comes in to check on Liz. She thanks him for everything he has done for her and their son. He tells her she can thank him by taking care of herself because her kids need her. She asks if he almost told Lucky when he found out she might not make it and he says that he prayed for her to get well. She says she knows it is breaking his heart to leave his son, but he will be in a happy family. Sam is outside the door, listening. Sam is devastated when she overhears Jason and Elizabeth discussing the baby and learns Jason is the father. After telling Elizabeth that he needs to keep his distance from the baby, Jason is tempted to unburden himself to Carly. Later, adrunken Sam pours her heart out to Amelia at the Metro Court. Jason wonders what's bothering Sam when he goes to pick her up at the hotel bar. Jason goes to the bar to pick up Sam, who is stunned that he came instead of sending Milo. He asks about her premier. She says it went fine, but then asks if he wants to be with a star or the mother of his child. She catches herself by saying that she's guilty about not being able to have a baby. He tries to get her to leave, but she doesn't want to. Amelia tells her it isn't good for the show for her to remain there and drink. Sam gives in and says she can't hurt the show because it's all she has left. They go home and Sam continues to drink. She wants to forget all the pain she has been through with past relationships, her daughter, and any future children. She ends up passing out and Jason carries her upstairs.

Spinelli shows up to give Jason the news about his son. The name is Jacob Martin, same initials as Jason Morgan and same number of letters. Spinelli still doesn't think that what Liz is doing is fair. Jason explains that Liz needs to feel safe and baby needs to be safe. He tells Spinelli to drop it as Sam is upstairs listening. She comes downstairs and asks what happened. She comes downstairs and asks what happened? He explained that she got drunk while celebrating the premiere. She asks if she embarrassed him, but he says no. She says she never has to worry when she's with him. In a dream sequence, Sam holds baby Jake and tells Jason he is beautiful. Liz shows up and asks for her baby back. Sam starts screaming and wakes up. Jason asks her what is going on. He wants her to open up about her dream, but she tells him she doesn't remember. He offers her a concoction to take care of her hangover, but she passes on it. She starts to stand up and get lightheaded and reconsiders the drink. Although it is green, it doesn't taste so bad. They sit back and she comments on how nice it is for the two of them to be alone. Later on, Sam comes back downstairs after being relived of her hangover. Jason thinks she should stay home today, but she doesn't want to. She asks if she needs to apologize for anything she said or did when she was drunk and he reminds her about a comment she said regarding who he wants to be with. She acts confused as to why she said that, but said it must have something to do with the fact that they can't have children. She says they must focus on the gifts that they do have and leaves. When she arrives at work, she asks why everyone is leaving. Amelia thought she would take the day off. Sam apologizes for her behavior, and Amelia mentions how she told her that Jason is Liz's baby's daddy. Sam tells her she must keep it a secret, and Amelia wants to know why she is protecting Jason. Sam explains that Jason didn't know he was the father until the hostage crisis and afterwards his father died and Sam found out she couldn't have a baby. Amelia asks why Jason doesn't fight for a baby for them to share. Sam explains that Jason doesn't want the baby in harm's way. Sam knows that Liz thinks it's best to keep the information from Lucky. Sam says its better left alone and leaves.

Amelia shows up and asks Liz to reconsider being on the show. Liz wants to know why she's so interested in the baby. Lucky cuts in and tells Amelia that Liz is just out of ICU. Amelia says she's only interested in showing a happy family. Lucky starts to get upset and tells her that if his wife said no, the answer is no. "What part of no don't you understand?" Amelia leaves after wishing them well, but Liz wants to know what's up with Lucky. He says he just feels bad about not being there for her and the baby. She tells him that he's her hero for her and the boys. Sam shows up at the hospital just as the baby gets back in the nursery. She asks if this is the Spencer baby and tells the nurse that the baby looks like his father, whom she is close to. Meanwhile, Amelia is planning revenge on Sam for what she did to her father. Sam watches Elizabeth and Lucky in the hospital watch over Baby Jake. She can't help but feel emotional about it when she sees Elizabeth holding a baby she knows is Jason's son and that she couldn't be the one to provide him with a son. Epiphany finds her watching them outside Elizabeth's hospital room and asks her why she is just standing there and not going into the room to see the baby. Sam tells her that she felt that Elizabeth and Lucky have had enough company around and that she just wanted to see the baby from a far because she feels connected to since she was sitting with Elizabeth during the hostage crisis trying to help her. Epiphany encourages her to go in and see the baby.

Lucky spots Sam standing in the doorway holding a gift for the baby. He invites her in to see him. Elizabeth tries to hide how uncomfortable she feels having Sam nearby. Sam admires the baby and makes a comment about how blue the baby's eyes are. Lucky tells her that the baby inherited his mother Laura's blue eyes. Sam hides her reaction by smiling and Elizabeth hides her reaction to by smiling faintly to his comment about Laura, both women knowing the baby's blue eyes come from Jason. Sam asks to hold the baby and Elizabeth reluctantly hands the baby over to Sam to hold. Sam gets a little emotional and can't hide her tears well from Lucky. He asks her if she is okay? Sam tells him she is fine and that she just loves babies so much. Elizabeth feels even more uncomfortable about it knowing what she knows. Lucky mentions that the TV producer, Amelia came by earlier and asked Elizabeth if she would go on Sam's television show with the baby to discuss the hostage crisis at the hotel. Sam tells them she had no idea she was going to do that and Lucky comments that Amelia was very pushy about it but they refused her offer. Sam leaves suddenly and confronts Amelia at the television studio about it. She can't believe that Amelia would even think of putting Elizabeth and her son on her program knowing that Jason is the baby's father and how it would make her feel. Amelia gets very defensive and tells Sam that she shouldn't take out her anger and frustration with Jason on her. Sam backs off.

Skye tells Jason about Alcazar's meeting with Mr. Craig earlier and how she overheard them conspiring to have Jason and Sonny killed soon. Sonny comes into his office and Jason brings him up to speed on what is going on. Skye pleads with them to spare Alcazar's life until she gets her baby back safe and sound. Sonny listens to her and tells Jason to hold off on Alcazar and go after Craig and kill him. He warns Jason not to get too emotional when setting out to kill Craig or he could get hurt. Jason tells him he is going to make Craig pay for killing his father. Jason asks Spinelli to find out what Alcazar's last phone calls were made to by hacking into his phone records. Spinelli hates Maxie and warns Jason to watch out for her and not let her manipulate him. Maxie arrives and tells Jason that Cooper had contact with Mr. Craig earlier today and that he is trying to set up a meeting with Mr. Craig and she wants Jason to make sure to protect Cooper from Craig killing him. Jason has no time for her but listens to what she is saying and tells her he will handle it. Maxie gets a call from Cooper on her cell-phone telling her that he set up a meeting with Craig at some location. Maxie gives Jason that information so he can go there and kill Craig and protect Cooper. Alcazar hands one of Sonny's employees a briefcase full of cash to kill Sonny and Jason. Logan spies on Alcazar and Sonny's employee talking. Jason meets at the place where Cooper is supposed to meet with James Craig. He starts shooting at James Craig, who hides behind some crates and shoots at Jason also.

Logan bursts into Sonny's office and tells him about Vinny, the guy behind the counter at the coffee shop, and how he poisoned Sonny's coffee. When Vinny comes in with coffee for Sonny, he says it smells funny and asks Vinny to drink it. When Vinny refuses, Sonny presses the issue until Vinny caves about being paid by Lorenzo to poison him. After Vinny is taken care of, Logan offers to help Sonny by telling him about seeing Carly at Lorenzo's house. Meanwhile, Jerry and Jason engage in a shoot out when innocent bystanders get in the way. Jerry taunts Jason about killing the innocent, which causes Jason to leave. He goes to Sonny's and tells him about the shootout with Craig. Sonny takes his turn and tells Jason about Lorenzo trying to poison him and that he just found out Carly is at Lorenzo's house. They both realize Carly knows more than she's letting on. Jason goes home and has Spinelli track one of the cell numbers that Lorenzo has been calling recently. Just as the target on the computer screen starts to move, they realize Craig is headed towards Carly's house.

As Sam prepares to shoot a segment about domestic violence, Amelia talks about how Sam claimed to have shot Amelia's father in self-defense. When the re-enactment is done, it will make Sam appear like a murderer. Sam comes over and asks why they are shooting this type of segment and Amelia explains that they need to show their audience how to defend themselves without committing murder. Amelia introduces Sam to the actor that will play her attacker. As they begin the scene and her attacker grabs her, Sam starts to have flashbacks and stops. She tells Amelia she can't go through with this because of something that happened in her past. Amelia is stunned that Jason is an abuser, but Sam says it was not him but someone else in her past. Amelia tells her she has to tell her story in order to help all the other women out there. Sam agrees that being uncomfortable for a few minutes is worth it if it helps other people. During a reenactment on the set of Everyday Heroes, Sam has flashbacks of Bill Monroe and points a gun at the actor. After the scene is broken up, Sam accuses Amelia of setting her up and asks her if she knows about Bill Monroe. Amelia reassures Sam that she knows no more than what Sam has already told her. She tells Sam that while they can't change the story, she will make some changes so that the scene is not too familiar for Sam but advises Sam to use her experience in the scenes.

Jason enters Carly's home and finds her there with Mr. Craig. He pulls his gun but Carly jumps in front of Jerry and she tells him that he can't shoot Craig as he is Jerry Jacks, Jax's brother, and begs Jason not to shoot him. After letting Jerry leave on Carly's account, Jason tells Carly he will not let Craig/Jerry get away with what he has done. When he arrives back at the coffeehouse, Jason vows to Sonny that he will kill Jerry. Sonny tells Jason that he wants Craig/Jerry alive. Sonny thinks that Jerry won't hurt Carly, and that Alcazar is the bigger threat, since he just tried to poison him. He thinks Jason is taking things too personally and is just out for revenge. Sonny wants to help Skye, but wants a quick and clean death for Alcaczar. Later, Skye goes into see Sonny. She tells him Alcazar's plan to take her out of the country. Once she has Lila, she tells Sonny it's okay to kill Alcazar.

Sam and Amelia arrive back at Jason's for a glass of wine after filming and find Craig/Jerry in the apartment. He has a gun. At gunpoint, Craig tells Amelia and Sam that he is Jerry Jax. They appear shocked to learn his identity. He orders Sam to bring them all a glass of wine. As Sam reaches for a glass, she sees a gun. She goes to shoot Craig, but Amelia stops her. She tells Sam she can't watch her kill another man. Craig pushes Amanda for an explanation, and she tells him about the incident on the set of the show. Spinelli sneaks into the penthouse, and picks up a pool cue. Craig outsmarts him, and holds them all at gunpoint. Jason arrives, and Craig orders him to close the door. He tells Jason about his leverage against Emily Craig tells him to close the door. He tells Jason about his leverage over Emily. Later, Sam tells Jason about the events of the day. Jason is going to see if Craig's story checks out, and if it does, he doesn't know what he will do.

Sonny gives Jason orders for eliminating Lorenzo. Jason agrees to it, and also tells Sonny about the leverage that Craig has over Emily. Jason goes to see Emily at the hospital to talk about her situation with Jerry/Craig. He verifies the information that Craig gave him. He questions why she did not come to him, and she tells him about Nikolas being poisoned. She knows that Jason wants revenge, but she reminds him that Alan would not want him to kill someone in his name. At the hospital, Jason stops by to see Liz. She lets Jason hold the baby, and she tells him that she gave the baby his initials. He appears happy, but has to leave when his phone rings. It is Sonny calling the hit on Lorenzo. Skye lets Jason into the house, and returns to Lorenzo and Lila upstairs. Lorenzo leaves the room. As Skye sings to Lila, she hears a thud downstairs. Jason conducts business about Alcazar over the phone and Spinelli walks in without knocking and overhears his conversation. This really angers Jason who warns Spinelli never to walk into the office unannounced ever again. Spinelli goes on and on about how he can keep secrets very well for Jason and has proven his loyalty by keeping Jason's baby a secret. Jason asks Spinelli to find out all he can about illegal wire transfers and anything to prove how they can happen and be used against someone so he can find out a way to help Emily get out from under Jerry's thumb. Later, Ric questions Spinelli about Alcazar's whereabouts. Spinelli doesn't know where Spinelli is and reminds Ric that he no longer works for Alcazar. Ric asks him if he could tell him where Jason was last night. Spinelli breathes a sigh of relief when Sonny pulls Ric away from him.

Jason shows up at Carly and Jax's home to tell them what he found out about Nikolas and Emily and what Jerry did to them to keep them under his thumb and let him hide out. Jax has a hard time believing everything his brother has been doing and wants to find Jerry to ask him why he is doing all this. Jax tells Carly that he is going over to see Nikolas and Emily and apologize to them for what Jerry did. Carly feels bad for Jax and tells him he isn't to blame for what Jerry did. Jax leaves anyway. Carly pleads with Jason not to kill Jerry and let him leave the country instead. Jason tells her he can't do that after what Jerry did to his father and how he is hurting the people he loves. Carly tells him that if he kills Jerry, it will ruin her marriage to Jax. Jason tells her he can't help what happens to her marriage. He tells her that right now he can't do anything to Jerry because of Emily's predicament but that he is going to find a way to get her out of this mess. Skye calls Jason on his cell-phone and asks him to meet with her soon. He gives her some street name with an alleyway. She doesn't see that Jerry is spying on her and has followed her. He overhears her talking to Jason about how Ric came by to question her about where Alcazar is. Jason tells her not to worry. Jerry approaches them and asks them if they are discussing his business associate, Alcazar. Alexis shows up at Carly's to tell her she just found out about Jerry and how he held everyone hostage at the hotel and she gets defensive while telling her that she knew him as James Brosnan and didn't know she wasn't suppose to trust him. Jason is thrown when he sees Sam with Jake and Elizabeth at the coffee house. Sam stops herself from confronting Jason with the truth and is hurt when he continues to lie to her. Once alone, Jason tells Elizabeth he needs to be honest with Sam. Sonny senses that something is going on between Jason and Elizabeth.
