Sabretooth
Sabretooth and Remy go way back. It took place in paris. Gambit met Henri at a resteruant and Henri gave him the mission. He was to retrieve a very powerful pendant, and bring it back to Henri. It was to earn Remy a place among the guild. The person he was stealing it from was a women named Genevieve Darceneaux, a jewel thief. Gambit played with her emotions and won her heart. Gambit met Sabertooth on this mission. This was their first encounter with each other. It just so happened that Sabretooth was looking for the same pendant. He had been hired by the man who got the pendant stolen from him. Gambit became very found of this girl and got a little to close to her. Sabertooth said that Gambit was way to out forward and never suspected what plans he had for Remy. Gambit got the jewel but Sabretooth got something else. Gambit went to Henri's house only to find a note saying " It's were the Hunchback lost something he cared for as well." He went to Notre Dame and found Sabretooth holding Henri and Geneveive over the ledge. He said to through the gem and save one of the two hanging from the edge. With time not on Remy's side he had to make a split decision that would effect his life forever. So he threw the gem up to Sabertooth and saved Henri from plunging to his death. Remy looks back at the situation and realizes that he made the wrong decision. But that was not the last time they met. Remy torchered Sabretooth for all of his sins of the past when Creed came to the X-Men in Uncanny X-Men.
