History: As an infant, Nathan Summers was infected with a deadly techno-organic virus. His father, Cyclops, was offered a choice: let Nathan die or allow him to be take into the future in hopes of finding a cure. It is in that bleak future that Cable's life began. Nathan became a soldier, a leader - and a time traveler. Now, after living in the future for decades, Cable has returned to the time just after his young self was taken away from Cyclops. Using his vast fighting expertise, telekinetic powers, and incredible technology, he clings to the hope that he can prevent the dark future he lived through from ever occurring.

Powers: Cable is a mutant whose physical attributes have been enhanced to superhuman levels. His principal mutant powers are his vast telepathic and telekinetic abilities. He can employ the latter to levitate objects and to create protective force shields. He must continually employ his telekinetic powers to prevent the techno-organic virus from affecting the rest of his body. His techno-organic left arm and shoulder possess even greater strength than his entirely organic ones. Cable's techno-organic right eye can see into the infrared portion of the spectrum.
