Here is a dictionary containing the necessary words for Slayers in practice.
The idea of the Slayer’s Dictionary came from Acathla, and thus give her credit for it, but the content was put together by Kendra and myself (Buffy).

Amara, Ring of: When worn gives vampires invincibility; they are able to walk out in daylight, be staked, etc. without dying.

Ascension, The: Ritual which can be performed by humans to turn them into full-fledged demons.
Astral Projection: The theory that while one sleeps one has another body (an astral body) that can travel through time and space.
Beheading: The removal of the enemy’s head; method used to kill vampires.
Chosen One, The: In every generation there is a Chosen One. She alone will stand against the vampires, the demons. She is the Slayer.

Cross: Can ward off vampires.
Daylight: Vampires are forced to stay inside during the day as direct contact with sunlight will cause them to combust.
Fire: Can be used to kill vampires.
Harvest: A night once in a century when The Master can draw power from one of his minions while it feeds.
Hellmouth, The: Mouth of Hell; gateway from our world to Hell. This causes an abundance in vampire and demonic activity.
Holy Water: Can be used to badly hurt vampires.
Host: The person that the vampire feeds on.
Minion: A follower of The Master.
Sire: This is the name given to the maker of a vampire.

Slayer, The: As long as there have been vampires there has been the Slayer. One girl in all the world to find them where they gather and stop the spread of their evil…the swell of their numbers.

Slaying: The killing of vampires, usually with a stake.

Stake: A wooden picket with a tapered end for slaying vampires. Vampire turns to dust after being staked through the heart.

Vampire: Immortal, soulless demon forced to drink blood to stay alive. They have long canines with which they can puncture a human neck to extract blood. They can also make other vampires by drinking the human’s blood and forcing the human to drink their blood. They are very strong.
Vessel: A minion, bearing a three-pointed symbol, which can give the Master Vampire power by feeding.

Watcher: He who guides and trains the Chosen One for battle.

Watcher’s Council, The: The group of Watchers located in England.

Watcher’s Diaries, The: Diaries kept by Watchers to record the events and demons that the Slayer has come across.
