Giles used to be Buffy's watcher till he was fired and she quit the council. His apartment is still home base for the scooby gang. He is respectfully unemployed. Giles was turned into a snake demon by a crystal which was left in his apartment after they defeated another snake demon. He was then reverted by a spell Tara and Willow performed. His apartment was nearly destroyed with the nights events.
