Senior Year
Chapter 12:
The car ride was mellow. Sheridan rested her head on Luis'
shoulder.
They arrived at Sheridan's cottage. Luis, like a gentleman, walked
Sheridan
to her door. "I know I said this before, but this was the best night of
my
life. All of my dreams came true. Thank you Luis."
"I should be thanking you. You were the one who said 'yes'." Luis
chuckled. "Well, I should be getting home but do you mind if I give
you a
goodnight kiss?" Luis asked shyly.
"No, Luis. Not at all." Luis leaned in and placed a sweet kiss on
the
cheek. Sheridan hoped for a kiss on the lips, but didn't mind the kiss
on
the cheek. Infact, she thought it was sweet, just like a first date.
"Well goodnight Sheridan."
"Nite Luis." Sheridan walked into the cottage and luis went back
to the
limo.
Sheridan sat on the couch thinking about the dance. She got up and
played Faith Hill's cd. Breathe was the song. Suddenly, the cottage
door
flew open. "Luis?" Luis didn't say anything. He stomped over to
sheridan
and pulled her in a long passionate kiss. When the kiss ended, they
were
both out of breath.
"Wow Luis." Was the only thing Sheridan manage to get out.
"I love you Sher."
"I love you too Luis." There was some silence. "Hey, you want to
stay
for a while?"
"I would love to but I have to get the limo back, plus, I have
church
tomorrow."
Sheridan just nodded. "Would you like to go to church with
us
tomorrow and then maybe we can get breakfast at the book café?"
"Yeah Luis I would like that very much. Thank you." They both
smiled at
each other and lead their way to the door. "Well I guess this is
goodnight,
huh?"
"Yup, but I will see you tomorrow around 9:00. OK?"
"Perfect. Well goodnight Luis."
"Goodnight." He placed a small kiss on her lipes. "Sweet dreams."
"Oh I plan on it." Sheridan giggled. "Nite, Nite."
"Night, Sher." Luis kissed her one more time and left. Both of
them
had a good night sleep--dreaming about each other.

Chapter 13:
It is already the middle of April. Exactly two months since the
Sweetheart Dance. Luis and Sheridan are still together, in fact, they
are
closer then ever. It seems that their relationship is getting stronger
by
the minute.
****Sheridan****
'I wonder what Luis has plan for our two month anniversity. Last
month,
I got flowers, dinner, and a movie. I can't believe I didn't get him
anything last month, but its all good. He will be surprised this
month. I
made Luis think I had a family gathering to attend to . I told him
that we
will celebrate tomorrow. Well, I hope he likes my surprise. I guess I
should put my plan into action.'
****Luis****
Meanwhile, at the Lopez-Fitzgerald house, Luis was getting ready to
take
Theresa out to dinner since Sheridan has plans with her family. 'I
can't
believe that Sherdian has plans on our anniversity. I can't wait till
tomorrow night when we can really celebrate our anniversity. I hope
she
likes what I got planned, even though, she insisted on keeping this
anniversity simple. Oh man, look at the time. I should go and get
Theresa.'
****Theresa****
"Yes, Sheridan, I understand……ok.ok…….Listen I hear Luis….Yes, I
promise
not to mess this up….Yup…Ok….See you soon….bye." ' Man is Luis going
to be
surprised.'
"Hey Theresa." Luis knocked on her door. "Can I come in."
"Yeah."
"Well, Are you ready to get going? I don't want to be late."
Theresa walked over to the mirror and looked at herself. "ready."
"Its about time." Luis teasing his little sister.
They both walked out of the house, to his car, and drove off.
"Umm, Luis, do u mind making a stop before dinner. I promised Whitney
I
would drop something off?" She hated lying to Luis but she had a good
reason.
"Sure. I will swing by the Russel's"
"Well, she isn't home. But, I have the directions right here." Luis
took
the paper from Theresa.
"Alright, we can stop, since I don't have anything better to do." Luis
followed the directions carefully.
"That's what you think." Theresa thought.
They were on the road for 20 minutes now. "Theresa where is this
place?"
"It is just up the road, make the next left."
"Theresa, this is a cabin."
"Yeah I know. Come on in."
"Nah, you go ahead. Telll whitney I said hi."
"Luis please, I hate the woods, please come with me." Theresa begged
him
with her puppy dark eyes. 'God what a lame excuse.'
"Ok." Luis and Theresa walked to the door. Theresa was carrying a
duffle
bag in one hand, and holding Luis' hand with her other. They knocked on
the
door.. Theresa had a smile on his face while Luis had no clue what was
ahead
of him.
****The cabin****(this takes place while Luis and Theresa are driving
to the
cabin.)
"Oh God."
"Sheridan, whats wrong?"
"Oh Ivy, Luis will be here in about 30 minutes and we aren't ready yet.
Oh
god. The food isn't here yet? What are we going to do? Look at me--I
am a
mess."
"Sheridan, dear, you have to be patient. Now, you go and get ready and
I
will finish up here. The food should be in here in 10 minutes. Don't
worry
sweety, everything will be perfect."
Sheridan went into the bedroom and got ready. She put on her long
black
skirt with a red v-neck top. She put on her makeup and pulled her hair
up.
With about 5 minutes left, she walked out. "Ivy, did the food come
yet?"
"Yes dear. It arrived while you were getting ready?" Ivy called out
from
the kitchen. "The table is set. You just have to take the covers off
the
food." Ivy walked out of the kitchen. "Wow, Sheridan. Look at you.
Luis
will definetley like his surprise." Ivy chucked.
"Well everything looks perfect. Thank you so much Ivy for everything.
I
greatly appreciate it."
"Oh Sheridan dear. You don't' have to thank me. I love during these
type of
things for you." Suddenly they heard the knock on the door.
"Oh god, he's here." Sheridan walked to the door and opened it.

Chapter 14:
"Sheridan, What are you doing here? I thought you had plans
tonight."
Luis screamed.
"Hi Luis, Theresa. Won't you please come in?" Luis and Theresa
walked
in. Ivy motioned for Theresa to follow her to the guestroom.
"So Sheridan, why don't you tell me what is going on?" A confused
Luis
asked.
"Ok. Sit down." They walked over to the couch. "Well, you see, I
felt
bad because I didn't do anything special for our first anniversity."
Before
Luis could interrupt, Sheridan placed her index finger over his lips.
"I
wanted to do something special and unforgettable for you this month.
So, I
asked Theresa and Ivy to help me out with this evening. I never meant
to
lie to you but I wanted tonight to be a surprise. I had the food cater
since
I am not the best cook, and I thought we could dance and maybe take a
walk
around the Cabin and maybe a movie if we have time. Luis, please don't
be
mad. I just wanted you to be surprised."
"Sheridan, I could never be mad at you. I love that you went to
all this
trouble for me, but you really didn't have to."
"Luis, I know I didn't but I wanted to--to show you how much I love
you."
"Well, I can think of other ways you can show me." Luis flashed
Sheridan
his gorgeous smile.
"Luis…shh…Ivy is just in the other room with Theresa. I don't want
them
to get the wrong idea." Sheridan playfully hit him in the arm.
"Who said they will be getting the wrong idea?" Luis scooted over
to
Sheridan and gently kissed her cheek. "You know, I love you more every
second of the day. I don't' think I could ever fall out of love with
you."
Luis and sheridan both leaned in for a slow but yet passionate kiss.
Sheridan pulled away.
"So, you like your surprise?" Sheridan asked.
"Yes, I do love it. And here I thought that I would be spending
our
annviersity without you. But I do want you to know that I don't need
gifts
or suprises to make our anniversity special or unforgetable--you is all
I
need. And don't you forget that." Luis chuckled.
HE leaned over and
whispered, "Is Theresa and Ivy going to say here the whole night or are
they
going ot leave so we can start our evening together?"
"Oh, um…Ivy, Theresa. You can come out now." Sheridan yelled to
them..
"Well if you will excuse us, I am going to go now and I am sure
Theresa
is tired too." Ivy hinted to Theresa.
"Oh yeah, I am real tired." Theresa giggled.
"Ok, you two, that's enough. I just wanted to thank you guys for
helping
me out. As you can see, Luis is very happy."
"Mrs. Crane, thank you for driving Theresa home."
"Its no problem Luis, but I don't think we are going back to
Harmony just
yet. I thought we can stop at the lodge and have something to eat."
Luis
was ready to hand Theresa some money. "Don't you dare Luis, dinner is
on me.."
"Thank you Ms. Crane."
Ivy smiled at Luis. "Well are you ready to go Theresa?"
"Yes Ms. Crane. Bye Sheridan. Bye Luis--I love you. See you guys
tomorrow. Theresa kissed her brother and left with Ivy.
"Did she just say tomorrow? I have no cloths to sleep in or to
wear."
"Theresa brought over a bag that Pilar made for you."
"Oh."
"And who says that you would need cloths?" Sheridan asks giggling.
For the
first time, Luis was speechless.
Luis thought, 'What is going through her little mind? I wonder what
she
meant by that comment?'
"Well, should we start dinner?" Sheridan asked.
"You're the boss." Luis and Sheridan headed to the kitchen to start
their
evening together.

Chapter 15:
Dinner went as planned. Luis loved his Fish fest. They had
lobster,
shrimp, oysters, and crabmeat. "Sheridan, you really didn't have to go
through all this trouble just for me." Luis said while helping
Sheridan
clean off the table.
"Luis don't be silly. It wasn't any trouble at all. The Lobster
Shack
delivered it. I just had to serve it. But I hope you aren't too stuff
from
it, you know dessert is coming." Sheridan smiled at Luis.
Luis walked behind Sheridan, wrapping his arms around her tiny
little
waist, "And what that might be?"
Sheridan turned around to face him, "I guess you just have to wait
and
find out." Luis pulled Sheridan is a heated passionate kiss. Neither
one
othe them wanted to pull away. Suddenly they smelled smoke and the
fire
detector went off.
"Geez, Sheridan I knew we where hot together but I didn't realize
we were
this is smokin'," Luis laughed.
"Luis, this isn't funny. Oh god, the dessert is ruined." Sheridan
climbed on a chair which was under the smoke decector. "Luis, help me
get
the smoke out--Open up the windows and the door."
"Sheridan, calm down. " Luis went over and opened the windows.
"Luis, I am so sorry. I really wanted this evening to be perfect.
And
look what happens, I ruined desert and almost burned the house down. I
am so
sorry."
"Sheridan, shh. You don't have to be sorry. You did nothing
wrong. It
was just one little mistake. That's all. And for dessert, I don't
think you
ruined it." Luis walked over to Sheridan and pulled her into a tight
hug.
"Luis, why would you say that--didn't you see the cake?"
"Sher, I wasn't talking about the cake. I was talking about this."
Luis
lifted her chin up and kissed the tip of her nose, followed by kiss on
each
cheek.
"Luis," Sheridan cried out. Luis kept on kissing Sheridan's face until
he
met her lips with his He started out with little pecks and they
finally
turned into long lasting kisses. Again, neither one of them wanted to
pull
away. Luis' hand roamed Sheridan's slender back while Sheridan's
hands were
in his hair. Luis finally left Sheridan lips to find her neck which
gave
great delight to her. "Oh Luis." She moaned. With a swift movement,
Luis
picked Sheridan up and carried her to the couch. He gently placed her
on the
soft cusions, then he climbed on top of her. They continued kissing
and
exploring each others mouths. Luis' rested his hand of Sheridan's
hips.
Sheridans hands were traveling up and down his back. Instantly, she
pulled
his shirt out of his pants and ran her hands along his bare back.
He
began
kissing her neck and chest which was exposed in her V-neck shirt. His
hands
started to travel up along her side. His left hand rested behind her
while
the right traveled towards her breasts. Luis brushed passed her
breasts and
moved to her back. He gracefully slipped his hands under her shirt and
started to kiss her lips again. Sheridan was startled for a moment but
soon
relax again. Luis was caressing her back. Luis pulled sheridan towards
him,
lifting her head up from the pillows. All of sudden Sheridan pulled
away
from Luis who was out of breath. "Sheridan, whats wrong?" Luis looked
into
her eyes. "Um im sorry, are we moving to fast? Did I do something
wrong?"
"No, Luis. I just don't know what it is. I just….Am scared. I
guess."
Luis got off of sheridan and they both sat upright.
"Sheridan, there is no reason to be scared. I wouldn't pressure you
into
anything you and I weren't ready for.."
"..No, Luis. I am ready for this and that is what scares me
because--you
are my first real boyfiend. I am not really experienced. Oh god, I
can't
believe I am saying this."
"Sheridan, don't worry. You can tell me anything. And to be
honest
with, I am not that experienced either." Luis slid over to Sheridan.
"If it
makes you feel better, I am a virgin too."
"I kinda of figured that." She giggled. She looked into his eyes,
"Luis, but you dated other girls. I only kissed boys before, I really
haven't been around the bases, if you know what I mean." Sheridan felt
a
little embarrassed. "This is all new for me. God, I hope you aren't
mad at
me or even disappointed in me."
" God Sheridan, how am I suppose to be disappointed when all you give
me is
satisfaction. You don't' know what you do to me when you kiss me, hug
me, or
even touch me. I don't know what it is, but believe me--what I feel
for you
is no were near disappointment." Luis placed a hand on her cheek.
"Do you really mean that?"
"Of course I do Sheridan. And besides, we are a team, and what we
don't
know or are unsure of--we will experience together." Luis winked at
sheridan, she couldn't help but giggle. "Come on--Lets go for a walk."
Sheridan nodded her head. Luis took her hand and led her out the door.

Chapter 16:
Luis and Sheridan took a nice long stroll through the estate."I
love the
outdoors. The night is so beautiful." They were walking hand and
hand.
"Luis, look a shooting star!" Sheridan said with excitement. "Did you
make
a wish?"
"Why, did you?"
"Yeah I did, but it probably wont' come true until another four
years,"
Sheridan laughed.
"Uh?" Luis aksed confused.
"Well, last time I saw a shooting star is when I was a freshman in
high
school, almost four years ago."
"Well what did you wish for?"
"You." They both laughed. "So, I guess I'll have to wait another
four
years for this one to come true." They continued walking through the
woods
towards the cabin.
"And what did you wish for this time?" Luis asked.
"Now, if I told you it won't come true."
"Well, that might not be true, that is, if the wish had something
to do
with me. Does it Sher?" Luis let out a chuckle and flashed her his
million
dollar smile. Sheridan bit her lower lip while her face was turning a
shade
of red. "It does have something to do with me. I knew it." Sheridan
giggled
nervously.
"I don't know what you are talking about." Sheridan opened the
cabin
door and went straight to the bedroom. She didn't' want Luis to know
what
her wish was, let alone what she was thinking.
She heard Luis walk in.
"You
know, I am really tired," she began, trying to give him a settle hint.
"Yeah so am I. Plus we have to be up early. I have a little
surprise
for you."
"A surprise for me?" Sheridans asked.
"Yup and who knows, maybe it will be your wish." Luis pulled
sheridan
into a hug and gave her a light kiss on the lips. "Good night Sher."
"Nite Luis." Luis went to the guestroom. They both fell asleep
dreaming
of the days to come.
