Rosalita mounted her usual horse, who was the color of snow. Only a moment later- her horse was running at full speed. From a distance she spotted Plumfield, yet she gave it little thought, for her focus was on the path ahead. She rode on, almost one with the animal.
Suddenly, from out of nowhere came the sound of gunfire. She had no time to think about where it came from. Her horse was still young and not used to the noise. Rosalita desperately tried to hold on as her scared horse reared and bucked. Despite the struggle to stay mounted, her horse threw her into the air. She hit the ground hard.
Now Rosalita was barely concious. The pain was intolerable.

Caroline was walking through the woods, she had just had a fight with Ashley(about makeup and dresses like usual) when she heard gunfire. She was just about to run back to Plumfield when she heard a scream nearby. She took a deep breath and ran in the direction that it came from. There on the ground in front of her was an unconcious girl, and the girls horse was running away fast.
"Rosalita!"she whispered, shocked. Rosalita had visited Plumfield a few times, and lived nearby. She knew that she had to get Rosalita back to Plumfield fast, and so although Caroline was not strong, she somehow managed to pick Rosalita up and start walking back(very slowly) to Plumfield. She finally made it back to the edge of the woods, and saw someone in the garden, and called out for help....

Ashley had run home, the word of which she thought Caroline did not know the meaning of(that snotty girl!!~Jenn(Caroline)), so she was already home before Caroline reached Rosalita.
Ashley was walking around the garden to pick a certain plant for Nan. She forgot which one, but she wanted to at least say she tried. She walked around trying to make it look like she was searching in case nan looked out the window.
Just as she was bending over an unidentifiable plant she heard a yell. She knew from her very(VERY) frequent fights with Caroline, that it was her.
"Where are you?"she called out, but then saw her and didn't need a reply. Seeing that she was carrying something big she shouted out,"What is that you are holding? Your make-up bag?" Before she had time to laugh at her own joke, Rosalita stirred.
"OH MY GOSH!!! It's a human!" Ashley ran to Caroline and relieved her of the unconcious figure. Even though Ashley was small on the outside, she was very very strong. Often times she even passed up Dan in strength. She hadn't yet beaten Nick though. Even though Ashley often came off as a jerk, she did have a sweet side.
"Go and get Dan! And Tommy, you know that he is sweet on Rosalita! Don't get any adults yet!" Ashley shouted at Caroline(who was right in front of her). When Caroline did not react fast enough, Ashley shouted,"HURRY CAROLINE!"

Caroline was absolutely shocked that Ashley was the one to help, especially after their VERY recent fight! But when she was told to go and get the others, she did. She ran into the barn where the boys were gathered.
"You guys, come quick! Rosalita is hurt! She is unconcious, Ashley has her out here!"she shouted breathlessly, and ran out again and back to Ashley....
