Through Thick and Thin (continued)

Chapter 22: Mission Accomplished!

Julian handed Hank the bottle and Hank starred at it in amusement. "Perfect. This is sure to end Sheridan and Luis's relationship." Julian says, "Now, remember. The poison must be put in their desert. They will not be able to save each other." Hank smiled evilly. "This is too good to be true." "Just make sure you do it right." Said Julian. "I'm on my way." Hank said as he walked out. Julian sighed with relief and sat back in his chair.

Everything was going to be perfect. At the Lopez-Fitzgerald house, Luis and Sheridan stared up at the stars. Sheridan back was into Luis's chest and Luis had his arms wrapped tightly around her. They rocked on the swing slowly. It was so perfect and peaceful. The only sounds they heard were the sounds of crickets and of their each other's heart beats. Sheridan turned her head to look into Luis's eyes and she said, "This is so wonderful Luis. I can't remember ever being this happy."

Luis brought his hand up to her face and gently caressed her cheek. "Neither can I," he whispered. He kissed her softly. He wrapped his arms around her again. She was very cold. "We had better go inside now." "Go inside, why?" "Because you're freezing, and plus, we have to have desert." Hank quietly snuck in to the Lopez-Fitzgerald house. He knew that only Luis and Sheridan were at the house, so he didn't have as much of a chance of getting caught.

He just had to make it past Luis and Sheridan and put some poison in their deserts. It was going to work like a charm. He snuck inside the house and was surprised to find that they were not in the living room. 'This will be easier than I thought,' Hank thought. Hank walked over to the table and took out the bottle of poison. He opened the bottle and poured the poison onto the strawberry shortcakes. He smiled evilly and said, "This time, no one will be able to save them. They are as good as dead." Hank walked out of the house.

Just as Hank left, Sheridan and Luis came back inside. Sheridan said, "This is so sweet of you Luis. I'm so lucky to have you." Luis turned to face Sheridan and he held her hands in his. He brought her hands up to his face and kissed them. He said, "No. I'm lucky to have you." Sheridan smiled and said, "It's amazing. You know." "What is?" asked Luis. "Well, it seems like everywhere we went, someone or something was always trying to destroy our relationship. I feel just like Romeo and Juliet," Sheridan laughed.

Luis said, "I think so too, except for the dying part. I think that we will live long and happy lives together." "It's just so amazing that even though all these things stand in our way, we still always manage to break through it." Luis rubbed her thumb on her chin. "Well, that's called true love. Nothing can stop true love." Luis said before kissing Sheridan lightly. They walked over to their table and sat down.

"Now, what's for desert, Luis." "Strawberry shortcake," Luis said, handing her a plate of cake. "Wow, my favorite. How did you know?" "I didn't. It's my favorite too." Luis and Sheridan smiled at each other and began to eat their cake. Sheridan finished her cake when Luis was half way through his. He seemed to be hesitating to eat it. Sheridan said, "God, you really take a long time to eat." Luis said, "Oh, well. I'm not that hungry. Here, why don't you have it." "Oh no, I couldn't__." "Have it." Luis insisted. Sheridan took the plate and ate the rest of the cake. After she was done, Luis and Sheridan stood up and wrapped their arms around each other.

"So, what now?" asked Luis. "I have some ideas." Sheridan said seductively. Luis smiled back at her. They began to walk towards his bedroom, but Sheridan stumbled over. Luis caught her and said, "Woah. Sheridan, are you okay?" "Yeah, yeah. I'm just feeling a little dizzy, that's all." Sheridan replied. Luis said, "Yeah. I know what you mean. I feel a little dizzy too." Suddenly, it seemed like the whole room was spinning. They both grabbed onto each other for support and comfort.

Suddenly, Luis and Sheridan fell to the ground. "Okay. I really don't know what it going on here, but I think we need a doctor." said Sheridan. "Me too," Luis replied. Suddenly, Sheridan passed out in his arms. "Sheridan? Sheridan?" He thought, "What is going on here? I have to call an ambulance." Luis tried to crawl to where the phone was. He was getting dizzier by the second. When he was a few feet away from the phone, he passed out...

Chapter 23: All The While!

Luis woke up to the sounds of people running down hallways, but he did not open his eyes. He was afraid about what he would see if he opened his eyes. The last thing he remembered, he was having a romantic dinner with Sheridan, then suddenly, he passed out. What happened? Where was he? He hesitated to open his eyes because after what he had just been through, he was afraid about what might happen next. Luis finally opened his eyes and found himself in a hospital room.

He was lying on a hospital bed with tubes and machines all around him. Luis suddenly became very scared. What was going on? Had someone tried to hurt him? Suddenly, he saw Pilar and Theresa walk into the room. When they saw that he was awake, they ran to his side and hugged him tightly. "Oh, Luis. Thank god you're okay." Pilar cried. "Mama, Theresa," he pulled back from them. "What's going on?" Pilar said, "You were poisoned, Luis." "Poisoned?" "Yes, something was in that food that you ate with Sheridan last night.

We thought you could have died." said Theresa. Luis was suddenly alert. "Where's Sheridan?" He looked at them in fear. Theresa and Pilar said nothing. Luis said, "Mama! Where's Sheridan? Is she all right?" Pilar said, "I don't know, Luis. All I know was that she is in worse condition than you. She has suffered a lot." Luis felt tears well up in his eyes. "I want to see her. I have to be with her." Luis tried to get out of bed, but Pilar and Theresa stopped him. "You need to rest Luis."

"And Sheridan needs me. I have to be there for her." Pilar said, "Luis. She'll be fine. She's a strong woman. Take a nap and maybe later you can go see her." Luis nodded and leaned back against the pillows. Pilar and Theresa left the room. Luis closed his eyes and tried to get some sleep. He heard some doctors talking outside of his door. He quietly walked out of bed and walked over to the door. He pressed his ear against the door and listening to them talk.

Sheridan Crane and Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald." said the woman. "They were poisoned last night." The man asked, "How are they doing?" "Well," the woman said, "Luis is doing fine, but Sheridan isn't." Luis felt his heart tighten as he heard this. The man said, "Is she going to make it?" "I'm not sure yet. We will know when she wakes up. But I can't seem to get her to wake up." "That's strange," said the man. The woman said, "Yes, and in Sheridan's sleep, she keeps crying out.

She calls Luis's name constantly, and she cries for him, but I can't get her to wake up." A tears fell from Luis's face, knowing that Sheridan was in pain because of him. He walked back to his bed and laid down. He tried to close his eyes and make all his fears go away. Suddenly, he heard something come from the room next to him. Almost like a cry. He went over to the wall and pressed his ear against it. He heard someone cry, "Luis, where are you? Please, don't leave me. I need you. No, Luis. Don't go. Stay with me." More tears fell from his eyes and he realized it was Sheridan.

She sobbed, "Luis. Luis, no! Come back. No. You have to come back. Luis?" She continued to sob in her sleep. Luis was in agony. Sheridan was in pain. She needed him to be there for her. Luis couldn't take it anymore. He had to see her. He looked around his room and saw his clothes lying on a chair. He took off his hospital robe and got dressed. When he was ready, he walked over to the door and opened it slowly. He peered out and saw that hardly any people were out there.

It wouldn't matter though, because the doctors wouldn't recognize him with his normal clothes on. Luis closed the door and walked to Sheridan's room. He looked around to make sure no one was watching and he opened the door and walked in. Luis closed the door behind him and looked over at Sheridan. She was tossing and turning in her sleep and he could tell that she had been crying.

It broke his heart to see her in pain. He heard her cry out, "Oh, Luis. Why'd you have to leave me? Why? Please, you have to come back to me. I love you too much to live without you..." Luis walked over to her bed and sat on the edge of it. He stared at Sheridan in agony. Tears were streaming down her face. She kept on crying, "Luis, please. Please, don't leave me. I can't live without you. Please, stay with me..." Luis grabbed her hand and held it tightly as he watched her. She continued, "If anything happened to you, I don't know what I'd do.

You mean too much to me. I can't loose you now. You can't leave me. You promised you would never leave me. Please, Luis. Don't leave me." Sheridan sobbed in her sleep. Luis rubbed her arms and whispered, "Shhh. It's okay, Sheridan. I'm here." Sheridan began to calm down a little and it encouraged Luis to continue, "Shhhh. Everything's gonna be all right. I'll never leave you. I'm right here." Sheridan stopped crying as Luis rubbed her arms soothingly.

Once she was okay, Luis stifled a little laugh and said, "You know, it is so amazing, how strong our love is. It's really amazing. We have been in trouble for what... 10 times now? Maybe even more. But even through all we have been through to be together, we always make it through. You know, before I met you, I never truly believed that love could be that strong. I always thought that something would be able to tear it apart, but now... I know that nothing can beat true love. Nothing. Nada.

And our love is so strong, that not even the gods could tear us apart. Everyday that I spend with you, makes me love you more and more. Our lives have been quite an adventure, but all the while, I wouldn't trade it for anything if it meant not being with you. I love you, Sheridan... and I'm always there for you."

Sheridan eyes suddenly opened and she smiled. Luis smiled from ear to ear and tears fell down his face. Sheridan said, "I love you too Luis." "Oh Sheridan," Luis said as he wrapped his arms around her. He squeezed her tightly and said, "Thank god you're okay." Sheridan asked, "How are you doing?" She had to pry herself out of Luis's arms and he gazed into her eyes. "I'm all right, Sheridan. How are you?" "I'm okay. I'm just a little dizzy, I guess." Sheridan smiled in a shy way that made Luis's heart skip a beat. Luis said, "Well, you should get some rest. Get some sleep. I'll come back later."

He kissed her forehead and got up to walk to the door. He reached out to grab the door knob when Sheridan said, "Luis, wait!" Luis stopped in his tracks and turned around. "What?" he asked. Sheridan said, "Could you stay here with me?" Luis said, "Sheridan. You need to rest__." "Please, Luis. I don't want to be alone. Just, hold me until I fall asleep. Please?" Luis smiled and nodded. He walked over to her bed and slid in beside her. He wrapped his arms around her. She leaned her back against him and wrapped her arms around his arms, which were already wrapped around hers. They were completely intertwined.

Sheridan sighed deeply and leaned her head back against him and closed her eyes. They could hear a song playing from the office and they listening to it as they held each other...

*For all those times you stood by me. For all the truth that you made me see.*
*For all the joy you brought to my life. For all the wrong that you made right.*
*For every dream you made come true. For all the love I found in you.*
*I'll be forever thankful baby.*
*You're the one who held me up. Never let me fall.*
*You're the one who saw me through, through it all.*
*(chorus)* *You were my strength when I was weak. You were my voice when I couldn't speak.*
*You were my eyes when I couldn't see. You saw the best there was in me.*
*Lifting me up when I couldn't reach. You gave me faith cause you believed.*
*I'm everything I am, because you loved me.*
*You gave me wings and made me fly. You touched my hand, I could touch the sky.*
*I lost my faith, you gave it back to me. You said no star was out of reach.*
*You stood by me and I stood tall. I had your love. I had it all.*
*I'm grateful for each day you gave me.*
*Maybe I don't know that much, but I know this much is true.*
*I was blessed because I was love by you.*
*(repeat chorus)*
*You were always there for me. The tender wind that carried me.*
*A light in the dark, shining your love into my life.*
*You've been my inspiration. Through the lies, you were the truth.*
*My world is a better place, because of you.*
*(repeat chorus 2x)* *I'm everything I am, because you loved me.*

Sheridan and Luis knew that this song was meant for them. It would be there song. They fell asleep in each other's arms. Luis fell asleep as well. Eve came in to check on Luis. She jumped back when she saw Luis in there. ‘What is he doing here? He should be back in his hospital bed.' Eve walked over to them and was about to wake Luis, when she saw their faces. They looked so happy, so peaceful, so in love. Eve decided that he would let them sleep. It seemed to be making Sheridan feel better, and she knew that they loved each other very much. She smiled as she closed the door behind her...

Chapter 24: The Day!

After that day in the hospital, things got pretty hectic. Sheridan and Luis felt a little bit safer, because they knew that they had many people looking out for them. The only people they had to worry about now were Jullian and Alistair, but that was a big problem. The Crane Empire was so powerful, who knows what they are capable of doing. Sheridan thought that they would give up on separating Luis and her by now, but so far, they hadn't stopped trying. Luis and Sheridan were a bit scared about what might happen to them, but they knew that they were always there for each other and so were many other people. They would be okay. Nothing could separate them now.

**3 MONTHS LATER**

Several people flooded into a beautiful garden. It was a huge garden with flowers of all kinds. There was a big wide open space in the middle where many chairs were lined up with an aisle in the middle. Up in front of the chairs, there was a little gazebo with vines around it. It was so beautiful. Many people started to sit down in the chairs. They were all very excited about what was about to happen, but they never dreamed that this day would come. It was like a miracle. Luis stood by Miguel at the gazebo. He was dressed in a nice suit and smiling from ear to ear. This was going to be the happiest day of his life. He was finally going to marry Sheridan Crane.

If anyone had told him a year ago that he would be marrying Sheridan Crane, he would have had them committed. So much had changed since when they met. They went from worst enemies to totally in love. Everyday, their feelings for each other grew stronger and stronger until there was no denying that they were in love. Everyone took their seats. Miguel said, "Luis?" Luis turned around to face Miguel. Miguel said, "I never thought this day would come, but now, I am so so happy for you. Congratulations." Luis smiled, "Thanks Miguel. You're a great brother." They hugged each other and then, the music started. Everyone turned around to watch, including Luis. First, Sheridan's three nieces, who were the bride's maids, came walking down the aisle. After them, Theresa, who was the maid of honor, came walking down the aisle. Ethan stared at Theresa in shock and marveled at how beautiful she looked, but he snapped back so that Luis wouldn't notice.

Theresa walked past Luis and winked at him. Luis smiled at her. Luis braced himself. Everyone stared, waiting for her to come. Suddenly, she appeared. Sheridan was dressed in a sparkling white gown. It was a tube dress with jewels and glitter all over it. She had a white vale with a small silver crown. She was holding a beautiful bouquet in her hands. Her eyes were sparkling and she was smiling a huge smile. Luis's mouth dropped open. She looked so beautiful. Like an angel. At first, Sheridan just stood there, looking out at the crowd. Then, she turned to Ethan, who was standing next to her. Ethan walked up to her and began to walk her down the aisle. Ethan whispered, "I can't believe this is happening. You have finally found the man who truly loves you."

Sheridan smiled at Ethan and a few tears fell from her eyes. "Ethan. Thank you so much for being there for us. We are so glad that we have you on our side." Sheridan said. "Hey. Anything to make you happy." Sheridan and Ethan made it down the aisle and gave Sheridan away to Luis. Luis took Sheridan hand and whispered, "As always, you look beautiful." Sheridan smiled and they faced Father Lonagon. Father Lonagon said, "We are gathered here today to join Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald and Sheridan Crane in holy matrimony. If there is anyone who had a reason for why these two should not be wed, speak now or forever hold your peace." Sheridan grew tense. She was afraid that her brother or Alistair would say something to destroy the marriage, but they didn't. She turned around and looked at the crowd. Jullian was standing in the back, staring at her with a smile. Sheridan was confused. Could it be true? Were Jullian and her father not going to ruin their future? It was too good to be true. Sheridan felt Luis squeezed her hand and she looked at him. He was smiling at her in a way that said, 'I know.' Sheridan smiled back at him. Father Lonagon said, "All right then. Luis has prepared his own vows for Sheridan. Luis?" Luis cleared his throat and said, "Sheridan. I never thought this day would come. I never thought I would actually end up marrying you. Heck, I never thought we would even get along. A lot has changed for us in this past year. I am come to realize how much I love you.

How I can't bear to live without you? You are the love of my life, Sheridan. I promise to love you, cherish you, be faithful, and support you, in good times and the bad, for as long as I live. With this ring, I wed thee as my wonderful wife, Sheridan Lopez-Fitzgerald." Sheridan had tears in her eyes as Luis put on the wedding ring. She had never been more happy in her life. Father Lonagon said, "And now, Sheridan has made her own vows for Luis. Sheridan?" Sheridan said, "Luis. I will never forget all of the times we have shared together. Every moment we share together means more to me than anything else in the world. I can't stand the thought, of waking up in the morning, and no seeing your smiling face. I can't imagine living my life without you. You are my life, my heart, my soul and my love. I promise that from this day forward I will love you, be loyal, be supportive, and be yours, until the end of time. With this ring, I wed thee as my husband." Luis was beaming from ear to ear. That was the most beautiful thing he had ever heard. Father Lonagon said, "By the power invested within me, I know pronounce you husband and wife.

You may kiss the bride." Luis pulled back her vale, cupped her face in his hands, and kissed her softly. The kiss was civil, but mixed with a little passion. The crowd cheers for them. Sheridan and Luis pulled back and Father Lonagon said, "Ladies and gentlemen. May I pronounce to you Mr. and Mrs. Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald." The crowd cheered loudly. Everyone seemed so happy that they were married. Luis took Sheridan hand and they looked into each other's eyes. Luis said, "I love you Mrs. Lopez-Fitzgerald." Sheridan replied, "I love you too."

They started to walk down the aisle, but Luis stopped her. Sheridan was confused at first, but then, Luis scooped her up in his arms and walked down the aisle while carrying her. When they were almost out of the room, Jullian jumped in front of them. Luis said, "Oh no! Not you again, Jullian. When are you ever going to learn? There is nothing you can do to separate me and Sheridan. Nothing." Jullian said, "I'm not here because of that."

Sheridan looked at Jullian and asked, "What are you here for then?" Jullian said, "I am here to say that I was wrong about you Luis. It is obvious that nothing can be done to separate you too. You really love each other. I am happy for you, and I will do nothing to stand in your way again." Sheridan smiled, "Really, Jullian?" "Really," Jullian answered. Luis managed to reach his hand out and shake Jullian's hand, something he thought he would never do. Sheridan and Luis got into their carriage and rode off to airport. They were going to have their honeymoon in Paris. The most romantic place for a married couple...

Chapter 25: It's A Wonderful Life!

At the Crane Mansion, Jullian was talking to Alistair on the phone. "My plan worked like a charm, father. Luis and Sheridan think that I am not out to destroy them. They have no idea what's coming to them." Jullian gloated. "Don't get to comfortable just yet, Jullian. Any false moves could lead to some serious disasters." Alistair said. Jullian said, "Don't worry, father. Luis and Sheridan are as good as destroyed." "That's what you think," a voice said. Jullian looked up and saw Sam standing in front of him with two other policemen behind him. One of the cops came over to Jullian and put his hands behind his back. As he was being handcuffed, Sam said, "Jullian Crane. You're under arrest for attempting murder." "What? What are you talking about?"

Jullian asked. Sam said, "My brother told me about that little plan you had to poison Sheridan and Luis." Jullian tried to protest, but Sam gave him his rights and took him away to jail. In Paris, Sheridan and Luis had checked into a hotel and were going up to their room. They walked up to the door. Sheridan stopped and turned to face Luis. "I can't believe it. We're finally married." Luis smiled back at her, "Yes. It amazing. It's a wonderful life. I am so lucky to have you as my wife." "I think I'm the lucky one," Sheridan said. They kissed each other and Sheridan turned to open the door. Luis stopped her, "Wait!" Sheridan looked at Luis, "What?" "It's tradition," Luis said, and he scooped her into his arms. Sheridan laughed and realized what Luis was doing. Luis opened the door and walked in, closing the door behind him. When he was inside, he spun Sheridan around and she laughed. Luis kissed her passionately. He felt so happy to know that he would be able to kiss her everyday for the rest of his life. They broke off the kiss, breathless. Luis set her on the ground. He wrapped his arms around her waist and stared into her beautiful eyes. Sheridan caressed his cheek with her hand and said, "God, I love you, Luis." Luis smiled lovingly, "I love you too." They leaned in for a soft kiss, but it became for intense. They kissed with all the passion and intensity inside of them. It was taking over their bodies. They made their way to the bedroom where they made love all night.

**9 MONTHS LATER**

Luis was pacing in a hospital room. He had never been more nervous in all of his life. Sweat was running down his face and he looked scared. Pilar, Theresa, and Miguel, Charity, and Ethan were there as well. They were sitting on the couch calmly while Luis walked back and forth. Pilar said, "Luis. Get a hold of yourself. You've been doing this for the past few hours." Luis ran a hand through his hair and said, "I can't help it. I... I'm just so nervous." Pilar said, "Well, you should relax. Everything's gonna be fine." Theresa said, "I can't believe that you're having a baby." "Yeah. I'm so excited." Luis smiled. Pilar said, "Well, you shouldn't worry about anything.

I mean... Sheridan isn't going to have them without you there. They are waiting for the right time for you to see her." Just then, the doctor came out. Luis ran to the doctor. "Doctor. How's Sheridan? How's our baby?" "Woah. Come down, Luis. Everything's fine. The baby is perfectly healthy and so is Sheridan." The doctor said. Luis sighed with relief. The doctor said, "Sheridan wants to see you now. She is almost ready to start." Luis ran to the room. When he opened the door, he saw Sheridan smiled back at him. "Hey," he said as he walked over to her bed. "Hey," Sheridan said. Luis sat down in a chair next to her bed. He took her hand and said, "How are you feeling?" "Awful." Luis laughed. Sheridan said, "Oh. But it will all be worth it. I can't wait to hold my baby in my arms." Sheridan cringed and squeezed his hand tightly as she felt another contraction. Luis smiled, "I'm excited too." Luis stared at her for a second and then said, "I love you Sheridan." "I love you too." Sheridan replied. Luis leaned in and kissed her softly on the lips. He pulled back and rubbed her stomach with his hand. "You know. I bet it will be very hard to raise a child, but it is so lucky to have a mother like you." "It's lucky to have a father like you. You'll be the best father. I know it." Sheridan said. Sheridan cringed again and squeezed his hand. Luis stroked her hair and said, "No matter what happens, ever, I will always love you." Sheridan smiled, "I love you too. More than anything." The doctor and two nurses came in.

"All right, Sheridan. It's time." Sheridan and Luis looked at each other and smiled. This was it. The moment they had been waiting for. Luis held her hand and said, "Now remember Sheridan. Deep breathes all right?" Sheridan nodded. The doctor got into his position and said, "All right Sheridan. Give us a push." Sheridan pushed as hard as she could. This was the most painful thing she had ever experienced, but she was glad that Luis was there for her. She couldn't wait to see her child. "Keep pushing Sheridan. You can do it," Luis said to her. Sheridan was breathing heavily and sweating. She looked up at Luis and said, "I love you, Luis." "I love you too Sheridan." Luis replied. Sheridan continued to push with all her might. Suddenly, the baby slipped out. Sheridan collapsed her head on the pillow in relief. Luis's felt tears come to his eyes as he heard the baby crying. Luis looked at Sheridan and said, "You did it, Sheridan. You did it." They kissed each other softly. "Congratulations you two." Said the doctor. Luis and Sheridan looked up and saw the doctor holding their baby in his arms. The doctor continued, "You are the proud parents of this baby girl." Sheridan was smiling from ear to ear as the doctor placed the baby in her arms. Tears were running down their faces as they looked at their wonderful baby. The doctor came up to Luis and said, "I'm sorry, sir.

But you'll have to leave the room for a few minutes. We need to run some tests." Luis looked down at Sheridan. Sheridan said, "It's okay, Luis. I'll be fine." Luis smiled, kissed her forehead and walked out of the room. When he walked out, he was greeted by Ethan, Pilar, Theresa, Miguel, and Charity. They looked at him with excitement all over their face. Ethan said, "So?" Luis smiled and said, "I have a baby daughter." Everyone cheered and hugged Luis. Theresa said, "Luis. This is so wonderful." Luis said, "Thanks. I have never been more happy." The doctor came out after a few minutes and said, "Okay, Luis. You can come back in now." Luis took a deep breath and walked back in. At first, he stared at Sheridan, who was looking down at her baby, smiling. They looked like the perfect mother and daughter. Sheridan looked up and saw Luis. "Hi," she said. Luis walked over to her and sat by her bed. He tried to say something, but couldn't. He was too happy to speak.

Sheridan said, "This child is so wonderful. She's perfect." Luis asked, "Can I... uh?" "Oh, sure," Sheridan said. Sheridan handed the baby to Luis and he took her in his arms. "Careful," Sheridan said. The child instantly cuddled up to Luis. Luis stared down at her in amazement. He said, "She's so beautiful. She's just like you." Sheridan smiled at him and said, "She is." Luis looked down at her and whispered, "Hey. Hey. I'm your daddy. Welcome to the world." Sheridan laughed as Luis talked to the baby. Luis continued, "Can you smile? Can you smile for your daddy?" The baby gave Luis a little smile and Luis felt his heart jump.

"Yeah," he said playfully. Sheridan said, "You know, we haven't come up with a name for her yet." Luis said, "Yeah. But there are so many great names." "Well, what names do you like the best." Asked Sheridan. "Well, Roxanne, Alexis, Maggie, Allison, Megan..." "Megan," Sheridan said softly. "Huh? What did you say?" Luis asked. Sheridan looked up at Luis and said, "Megan. That was my mother's name. It's perfect. Megan Lopez-Fitzgerald." Luis smiled, "That's perfect. All right then. Her name is Megan." Luis smiled down at the baby. "Oh Luis. What a wonderful life we have?" Sheridan said. Luis handed the baby to Sheridan and climbed into the bed with her. Sheridan held Megan in her arms and Luis put his arms around Sheridan.

They stared down at their baby, then back up at each other. "Our lives have been one great adventure," Sheridan said. "Yeah. It is so amazing how true love always wins." Luis said. "Like Theresa says, it's almost like fate." Sheridan said. Luis said, "Sheridan. I want you to remember that no matter what happens, I will always love you forever. I will never stop loving you. I am always there for you." "Oh Luis. I love you too. And whenever you need me, I'll be there too. I'm always there for you too." They shared a tender kiss and stared down at Megan as they rocked her to sleep.

Every since that day in Paris, their lives had never been the same. They now realized how much they loved each other and couldn't bear to live without each other. Nothing in the world could break their bond. They had made a family and were closer than ever. It's true that their lives so far have been a great adventure, but the real adventure was going through life as a family. Love is the most powerful thing in the world, and nothing could tear it apart...
