One thousand years ago when the world was at peace there was the Silver Millennium. The solar system was ruled by Queen Serenity, Princess Mars, Princess Mercury, Princess Jupiter, Princess Venus. Since the universe was in strong peace, each princesses settled at the moon where their friend princess Serena lived.
Queen Serenity taught her daughter Princess Serena to follow her footsteps in ruling the universe, but Serena had other things in mind such as, Prince Darien the prince of earth. Then when a ball had opened in the Moon Kingdom, Prince Darien came to the moon to warn the Moon Kingdom of a evil force that was going to take over the universe and the Moon Kingdom was their first target.
Then the guards thought he was an imposter. Prince Darien came and Princess Serena had her last dance with Prince Darien. He told Serena about the war while they were dancing. Then Luna and Artemis came and told the Moon Kingdom that Queen Beryl was here. The force came and fought the Moon Kingdom. The Sailor Senshi went off to face Queen Beryal.
They failed to overcome the Evil Queens power. Before she could kill Serena, Darien came to the rescue. The Queen saw Darien's power and asked to join her. Darien put her down saying he would never join a hag. This enraged the Evil Queen and sent a the negaverse power at him. The power sucked Darien as he told Serena to run. Serena disagreed saying she wanted to be with him and jumped into the tornado. Touching Darien's hand for the last time they died.
Queen Beryal looked over how perfect it was to have them both dead together. Queen serenity seeing this said she didn't have any choice but to use the silver crystal to send everybody into the future, so that the princesses and her daughter can have another chance to live in peace. Queen Serenity used all her powers and the silver crystal to send Princess Serena, Prince Darien, and the Sailor Senshi to be reborn on Earth and have a chance. After she sent Luna and Artemis to help Princess Serena and the others.
