The
Soap Ratings (w/e Jan 16th)
The Christmas season is over, and that usually means steep ratings
declines.
But that hasn't been so so far. And a few series records have been set
to boot. "Passions" set a record the previous week in adults 18-49, and
this week it set a record in adults 25-54. Soon NBC will own the
daytime
world.

The household ratings have come down somewhat since their Christmas
highs,
but as least one network is still making some headway. And that network
would be ABC. But "Port Charles" is really the one driving the charge
as
viewers are finally coming to the little soap that could. It's just a
tick
shy of its highest ratings ever.

"GH" still owns this demo, continuing to beat the usually top rated
"Days."
ABC is on top of this demo too as "PC" is now in a tie for 9th with
"GL"
and the two middle soaps, "AMC" and "OLTL" are tied for 4th.

Yes, this demo is still owned by NBC. And no, not other network is
making
any real inroads.
