Gia walked through the glass door fifteen minutes late. 'Great', she thought. Carly was waiting for her in front of the receptionist's desk.
"Gia, there you are! Man where were you? You know you have a photo shoot today. Come on." Carly rushed past her, down the hall.
She was about to follow when she saw a man holding a bouquet of tulips, which blocked his face. She sauntered forward, smiling.
"Now you know I'm crazy about tulips. You're so swe-," she stopped after she realizing that the dark-haired man she was about to hug was not Niki.
"Oh! I'm sorry. I thought you were someone else. Can I help you?"
"No. I found who I'm looking for. Gia Campbell, right? This is an honor. I see you're picture everywhere in New York. You're even more beautiful in person."
"Thank you. I'm sorry and you are..."
"Sorry. I'm Andreas. Andreas Manifield. I own a small shop in lower Manhattan. I hope that I'm not being too forward with the flowers."
"No, not at all. I'm always glad to meet my fans. I don't mean to be rude but I'm late for a shoot. Maybe I'll see you around." She smiled and made to move away.
"Don't forget your flowers." He handed them to her and she was gone.
He waited until she disappeared and got his cell phone out and dialed Helena.
"Madam, the first phase is complete. Yes, as you wish." He disconnected and walked out the door.
