A gloved hand pushed bushes away just as Nik opened the door to the Grill.
"Hey, Nickolas, what's up?" Lucky waited as Nik grabbed his chair and sat down.
"Hey, Lucky. Thanks for meeting me. I don't know if Liz told you Gia's been acting skittish lately?"
Lucky nodded. "I think it's more than that. When she went to Columbia, she did some modeling and I think she may have been stalked."
"Wow, seriously?"Lucky sat forward on his chair and leaned in.
"Yeah. Lately, I don't know but I've been having some funny feelings. Like in the cabin, I could have sworn that someone was watching us. I keep seeing the same car sometimes when I drop Gia off at Deception. I can't explain the stalking back when she was younger, but I know that what is happening now has Helena's name all over it."
"Yeah, well I don't put anything past that viper. If she can kill her own son without qualm than there's no telling what she'll do. So what's the plan?"
"Just to play it cool for now. I think I might pay grandmother a visit just in case. I don't want her messing with Gia's head. She has enough to worry about as it is."
"Need me along for the ride?" Lucky started to rub his hands together greedily. He was still steamed about the brainwashing incident.
"Nah. I've got this one. Thanks, anyway." Nik got up and left the tip.

Helena's Yacht
Helena was just about to leave for the hospital when Nickolas met her.
"Why, Nickolas, this is a pleasant surprise. To what do I owe this visit?"
"Helena, this is no social call. I came here to say one thing: stay away from Gia and me. I know you know about our wedding and remember, you're not invited."
"Nickolas, you know I would never do anything to deliberately hurt you."
"That's a laugh. All you do is hurt, no matter who that person is." He ran his fingers through his hair. "Just know that you are forewarned. Stay away from us."
With his last words said, he left. Helena's just smiled to herself. Soon Nickolas would know just how much he was wasting his time defending such a whore...
