Helena walked inside the cabin room, throwing her silk wrap across the coat rack. She went to pour herself a glass of sherry and nursed her glass a while before drinking. She sat down on the nearest chair and stared into the red liquid, slightly swiveling it around as she contemplated....
"You have some nerve, lady. You honestly believe that we would invite you after the hell you put us through? You're nuts!"
She swiveled too roughly and spilled the liqueur on her expensive Persian carpet.
"Damn. Andreas!" She got up and placed the glass on the table. That girl had been a thorn in her side every since Nickolas informed her of their 'affair'. She had no place with her grandson. She was rude, hotheaded, and had no decency at all. She was simply beneath him, posessing the social skills of a flea-infested bitch. A nice word to describe her. Why didn't Nickolas see her for what she really was? If only she could make him see...
"You called Madam?"
"Yes. I'm afraid I made a bit of a mess. Clean it up, please," Helena said. She needed to release some tension. She needed Andreas' soothing hands to ease her muscles. She smiled just thinking about it. Andreas had a way of making one forget all troubles and the responsibilities. Even lovers...
A light came into her eyes. That was it. The answer to her problem. Andreas was the key to it all...

Gia & Nik's Cottage
A piercing scream filled the darkness of the night.
Nik ran into the room and saw Gia thrashing and bucking on the bed, as if some invisible force was holding her down. She screamed again, this time in stark fear.
"Gia. Gia! Wake up!" He shook her slightly. Her eyes were slightly open but she was limp.
All of a sudden, she started fighting him and yelling. "Get away from me! Don't touch me! HELP ME! Somebody please! Niki!!" She hit him in the head, creating a small bruise on his temple. She started sobbing and grabbing him holding him tightly.
Nik, cursing, gathered her close and rocked. What the hell just happened here?
After some long moments, she quieted, slightly hiccupping and shaking. "Oh, Niki...you're here. Thank God. I love you so much..." She held him tighter. They stayed like that for a while until gradually her grasp loosened and her breathing slowed.
Nik, after making sure she was asleep, laid her down on the bed and got up to remove his clothes. As he sat down on the bed, his eyebrows were drawn together. He was worried about her. Maybe the stress of the wedding WAS getting to her. She never had such a nightmare before. She was so violent and terrified. He'd talk to her tomorrow about it. He lay down but it was sometime before he actually fell asleep.
